Had the most comfortable 3 week stay at Cinnamon Red! Excellent service from the Management and staff! Great breakfast! Will definitely stay there again when we next visit SriLanka!

As a Sri Lankan girl, it is a safe place to stay solo guest even if you are alone in an urban environment. Friendly & efficient staff provide star service at a professional level. Delicious clean food and drinks in fair prices. I noticed Malshan at the reception providing service to the customers in a very pleasant, friendly and respectful manner. Flavored Resturant staff is also were very friendly & proffesional. I'm gratefull for all cinnamon Red staff supporting me to make my stay very confortable. Cinnamon Red Highly Reccomended.

A very good place. Very helpful staff. Good security system felt secured to stay. Can enjoy a rooftop pool as well as best sunset view from there. Luxurious room always clean and tidy. The worst experience and place. The charged us 11, 000 (deposit 10, 000) for a crack in the sink which looked like it happened decades back. And it was obvious from the look of the staff that they didn’t want to return the deposit. The staff named romesh was extremely rude and was a joker trying to convince me that the so called crack was done by us.

Cinnamon red is one of my preferred favorite place for dinner buffet. “Flavored” restaurant has a calm atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food. Staff of flavored is friendly and pleasant. Specially need to appreciate the customer service skills of senior supervisor Mr. Sumudu. He went extra mile to make us satisfied. We really appreciate the team flavored. Highly recommend.

I personally recommend cinnamon red flavoured restaurant the reason is I enter to the hotel around 3.30 to 4 pm for a lunch with my girl and I couldn't get a good Menu in Stired and finally I was bit disappointed on her brithday and I requested them weather can I go for a different menu and they really help me to go 8th floor where the restaurant on close time and team sameera, niroshan, shanaka and Dinesh helped me to get happiness back in my face and they immediately react to my situation and spoke to chef joshep priyankara and open the al carte for us. And the food was delicious I really love every bite of my meal. And service is to next level I really appreciate the team work which I received from cinnamon red Team. 5star is not eoungh for your kind help on this special day as Mr niroshan is very helpful to choose the right menu and served me with full of smiles and joy my next visit for the cinnamon red will be a 2 reason one is for a food and for a best customer service both are to my mark as I expect thanks for the team and you guys will rebuild your customers again.

I am so sad that only 9 rooms are occupied! But the staff try their best to show a positive optimistic smile. Colombo is truly low — key.

This a hotel managed by the Cinnamon group of hotels. It is located in Colombo 03. It has a nice view of the Colombo city. It is quiet cheap when considering with other hotels in Colombo. But this is not a Five star hotel yet it has a good environment, quality food and a very friendly staff. It has four main restaurants. Cloude, Flavoured, Pool and the roof top bar. The pool and the roof top has a nice view. Many locals come here for meals and tourists come here to get accomadation while they are in Colombo.

One of the best budget hotels in Colombo. Service and the facilities are star class. Mostly the price is between $100 to $110. You cannot fine similar hotel for this price in Colombo. It has a roof top bar, infinity pool and a gym to make your stay enjoyable and relax. The food is awesome and the rooftop bar let you to relax and enjoy a drink.

Loved the modern decor, the food from the snack bar was amazing. Close to major city areas and the breakfast also very good. The view was lovely from our corner room and the rooftop swimming pool was a hit with the kids. Also liked their marketing tagline idea of 'head says — heart says'. Would definitely like to go again.

Good hotel, central and good value for money.

I went to the Flavored Restaurant for dinner with my wife to celebrate her Birthday which falls on the same Valentines Day. 14th Feb 2018. They offered a special Valentine Buffet which cost slightly higher than the regular buffet price. But they offered two special cup cakes and two glasses of wine. The buffet was really good and had good variations. Special thing was every food was really good and we felt taste everything. Specially every dessert. They arranged a Birthday day wording too. Great service. Regular buffet price is slightly less than other main hotels in Colombo. Restaurant looks small at a glance, but you would not repent on the buffet. Highly recommended.

Good hotel but very cold attention by its staff.

Good hotel and well located. Modern, clean and high quality with large comfortable rooms. The rooftop pool is smart and a good escape from the vehicle pollution that hangs at ground level in the town. Prices are slightly better than other quality hotels. Nothing memorable as quite corporate so doesn't get five stars but we'll choosing over more expensive options.

Very chic modern hotel all kept in stylish red. Mega Great infinity pool on the rooftop about 26 floor. With hammer view. Delicious breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, when checking in was a bit chaotic and had to wait long for the room despite prior registration with early check-in. But staff very friendly and helpful. Great location in Colombo.

Nice hotel, room spacious, roof top bar stylish, buffet very good, staff nice. It smells a bit musty, but it can be. Cannot be avoided if no window can be opened. Overall, I am satisfied and would book it again.

Modern hotel in Colombo 3 with terrific rooftop bar and good cocktails. The rooftop pool is classy, however small, barely lying (there is hardly any space around) and no parasols — — > > Sunburn the rooms are spacious and modern furnished, the bed is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the Windows cannot be opened.
The breakfast is delicious, the choice is great — local & International.
The food is otherwise not so tingly and expensive.
Rating therefore only 3 stars — View 5!

Cloud red — the rooftop bar of the cinnamon red has a perfect 360 degree view of Colombo. Opening hours are from 5pm — 12pm. Service is really good there. And the variety of the drinks available is impressive too. The food is delicious. Prices are not too high (reasonable). Overall a good place to spend your evening with your loved ones.

Amazing and clean hotel at a great location. Room was tidy, however, slippers and dental kits were not provided and the lifts were damn slow. The infinity pool and the gym on the 26th floor were great! Decent breakfast spread as well!

Ppl might hv a different attitude abt ths lean luxury hotel when compared to other hotels in cinnamon chain. But for me its the most unforgettable, loved international buffet I ever had. Though the variety n spread is less when compared to 5 * hotels, I felt they had a great variety with lovely dishes. Most of time, u just go fr a buffet n leave without eating any thing. But here in cinnamon red… I gt the opportunity to try their every dish. Specially fr ppl with small kids, I guess ths buffet is ideal fr d whole family. I highly recommend ths n the staff is very nice n friendly. Love to go fr d buffet again.

Went for a dinner with friends. Buffet was good and had combination of Western and Eastern foods. Place was nice. Price is bit high but lower than other hotels in colombo. We enjoyed dinner with a nice view of Colombo and far away sea.

Incredible View! Super Room. There is no Reason not to come back here. The most beautiful are the Rooms Heading north with a view of the City centre (nr. Xx01). Especially the Corner Rooms with a view to two Sides are to be missed. Best as far up as possible.

Great hotel and good location. You can Uber to places our call kangaroo cabs to go places. Rooms are clean, and the roof top bar is awesome. Staff are friendly, buffet breakfast is great. Over all we had a good experience.

Nice trendy hotel in a convenient location. Graffiti in the car car parks are awesome, since many such parking ares can be boring. Lift is just next to that, and that is good too. Top restaurants are not bad bar is fine. Lobby at the reception is small and dull. Modern designs are attractive but reception lobby doesn’t give you a comfy feeling. But I would give 4 stars as a city hotel.

The hotel boasts the best of Sri Lanka's 4 stars, and the 26 floor has a infinity pool, which feels like swimming in the most beautiful sunset.
Here you can see the panorama of Colombo, which is very beautiful in the sunset. This hotel goes out right to walk 2 minutes after an ATM machine there will be a path, turn right a minute to turn left, and then walk 1 minutes to see a Chinese restaurant, called Old Beijing, the taste price is very good, we even ate a few meal.

This hotel could be so much more if only the right management team was there. As cor the facilities, the hotel is very clean. As for amenities, the only US compatible plugs are by the bed and none at the desk to use with a laptop. They have a great restaurant with morning buffet and meals throughout, but will not do room service. I had 4 rooms and all 4 rooms had issues with air conditioning. Many hours later, each room needed the air filter cleaned. They were black and filthy. It's seems that the management team is mediocre at best at operating what could otherwise be a 4 star hotel.

Well appointed with0 fabulous, friendly staff. Breakfasts were extensive and delicious catering for all cultures. Pool and rooftop bar complete the holiday experience.

The place fell short of our expectations because of the service. The staff made errors in type of room and billed us twice for breakfast. They also have some weird rule of pre charging your credit card with more than your stay cost. Not sure why though as it created an atmosphere of distrust from the moment we checked in. Where you start with a welcome in most similar rated hotels here it is the opposite.

Absolutely stunning roof top view. Different sea view compared to many city hotels. Friendly staff. Great service. Must visit to enjoy the sun set.

The place is clean and the staff are friendly. They do not provide toiletries like shaving set or tooth brush etc. Also, I had recurring issues with the shower in all the rooms that I have stayed (5 visits in Aug-Oct 2017). The water becomes cold and then super scalding hot then cold etc without any changes in the levers. I have raised this with the house keeping but haven’t seen much change. Apart from that, the hotel is good. The breakfast has enough options.

Visited Cloud Red and it was a very pleasant experience. Great ambience. Definitely gonna be a regular hangout spot. The only down side is it's ONLY open from 5pm to midnight.

It is correct New hotel with amazing views, but still with no soul. The food is correct but far away from other cinnamon hotels. Papaya Dhal curry and steam rice must be improved, and the waiter should ask you before serve the water. Little details to improve.

Flavored: Food was so awesome. One of the best buffets. The service was excellent and provided the needed service without any delay noting the Hasun the in charge steward who was very helpful and courteous. Soup was very good and had a fair range of salads too. Action area food was very tasty while the itlalian dishes specially bolognese was heavenly. The main meal was perfect had a good range but didn't have a good range of desserts, only a few were there. Overall it was a good experience and the atmosphere was lovely.

Hotel is a modern, chic concept well put in place, with quality service — staff is always smiling, polite, charming, as you would expect from Sri Lankan, some of the most lovely people around. Food is good and the rooms are modern, clean-design, with breathtaking views of the city and the ocean (depending obviously on which room you get). Has all the expected amenities and services: gym, roof-top infinity pool, bar, etc. I will definitely stay here again.

We tasted the flavours of flavoured and the wide variety of salads and deserts. The Kottu was very good. We would like to recommend it as a fine restaurant for a person who would like a healthy and tasty choice.

Lovely hotel. All at a high level at an affordable price. The highlight of the hotel — the pool on the roof (26th floor) with a beautiful view of the ocean, especially beautiful at sunset. Dinners and breakfasts with a large choice of delicious dishes.

One of the Best city hotels in Colombo. Very recently they have opened it. Managed by Cinnamon hotel group. Tall building in the city center. You will get a good view. Rates are comparatively high. But its a luxury hotel. Food is very nice. You will enjoy your stay!

Excellent roof bar with good service, good cocktails and a brilliant view. I would add a wider range of beers to the menu and vary the music sometimes to improve this place.

I would like to thank the cleaning staff and lost & found for having honestly reported my daughter's iPad, which she had safely locked in the safe and forgotten. Very fancy outdoor area for having a drink whilst enjoying the views of the lake. Service and cocktail variety are good. Just be prepared to pay a premium to enjoy a drink here.

This place is a fantastic value. Everything is very clean, modern and surprisingly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised to see the hotel was more luxurious than I had anticipated. Everything is very reasonably priced with the exception of the airport shuttle, but even that wasn't outrageous. There's a nice infinity pool on the roof — nothing too fancy but a nice bonus. Highly recommended.

Awesome Place to stay. Very good locality. Superb cleanliness.

Worst buffet I've been to. Poorly prepared and only a handful of choices. Not worth the 2000+ per person price. Parking is also very limited and the bays are small. The view from the rooftop is spectacular and that's all there is to this place.

I stayed here in November 2014 for 5 nights. The hotel has only been open for 3 months when I stayed there. The hotel is very clean and has a very modern decor. The staff are all very friendly. It was a pleasure staying at the Cinnamon Red Hotel. I will definitely be checking in there on my next visit to Columbo.

My friend and I went there with great expectations for lunch yesterday. The design is really nice, modern, fresh. The restaurant as usual is far too cold to feel comfortable. Waiters are friendly, but extremely slow, we had to be on them all the time, so no chance for a quick lunch. Food itself was not satisfying at all. The so-called Antipasti platter was served with only local meat products, which have nothing to do with spicy salami and similar cold cut products, but are watery and look suspicious. We didn't even see a hint of mozzarella on our plates, just 2 half dry slices of some yellow cheese. The Mexican style prawns with pumpkin puree were numerous, but too dry, too over-fried. The pumpkin puree was just a thin line and the whole thing was served with 1 green bean (no joke! ), 2cm of carrot, the smallest piece of cauliflower they were able to find — so miniature non-existing vegetables. The only tasty thing about the whole meal was the cappuccino, although we had to remind the waiter, who was walking around the restaurant for 15 minutes about our order. Really nice is the bar terrace (cannot say anything about the quality as it was closed) and the infinity pool with its spectacular view.
