Los Álamos

Beautiful hotel. Food and drink top of the range. Pool area and cafe nice. Only one staff serving most days, although the hotel was full. Short walk to the beach and old tiwn. Quite a nice position. Lots of bars within walking distance.
Special mention of staff, Anuncia and Serena. Very helpful and welcoming, smile a lot, they seemed to be on duty every day.
Not really any bad points. However. We were, for a couple of days, the only brits in the hotel. All evening entertainment was spanish singers, line dancing, even the drag queen comedy night was spanish. Not a problem as there is plenty to do outside, walk into and bar or hotel and join in, no one seems to mind. Day time aerobics, skitels, line dancing.
Plenty of sunbeds, the other guests went out most of the day or sat in the cafe. They were very noisy, never stopped talking. Smoking allowed in rooms and poolside. Our neighbour was a heavy smoker, who spent a lot of time on the balcony shouting on the phone and smoking. Had to keep our door closed.
Nice peaceful areas too. There is a libarary and art studio.
If we were to stay again, we would go half board as we like to be entertained in the evenings.

Pleased to have found this lovely hotel, conveniently located for beach and more in Benidorm. Appeared to be the only UK guests during our four night stay. Quite enjoyed the authentic Spanish environment. Not least the homely evening entertainment. Meals were excellent and varied. Most definitely the dinner selection. Elected for the all inclusive option. Apart from when on day trip; were happy to return for lunch. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Couple of room snags encountered. Both dealt with efficiently. Thank You very much.

We were really happy on arrival, a great entrance way and some incredible art in the lobby.
Reception staff seemed a bit grumpy but we soon had our room card and on our way up the very very slow lift.
Room was nice and clean but a little small. The bathroom was lovely but lots of holes on the shower head were blocked so some descaler needed.
We had an issue with the Aircon and the same grumpy lady on reception didn't believe us and told us to give it time.
Reported back to her later and she begrudgingly said an engineer will visit the following morning. No fan or any other help offered. That first night was unbearably hot and we were unable to sleep.
Next day engineers visited and the whole unit was needing replacing but was done in a good timely manor so we were thankful for that.
Balcony's are overlooked which is fine but more could be done to create privacy with neighbouring balcony's.
We stayed BnB and Breakfast was good without being special.
The pool area although small is lovely and gets the sun all day tho we only used it once as we went to the beach.
In general a lovely hotel for a short stay, we wouldn't want to stay here any longer than our 5 days.
