Having a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel overlooking the cliffs and sea in los Gigantis. We booked a deluxe sea-view hot tub room for our 7 night stay and it’s lovely. It’s on floor 8. (Room 803) Nice decked area with hot tub and two sun-loungers. Dressing gowns slippers. Etc. Nice welcome bottle of Prosecco and a chocolate rose for our anniversary. Food is really good, plenty of choice. We are staying on the all inclusive option (be aware the drinks are very strong). Nice walks along coast line but lots of big hills. Evening entertainment very good. Highly recommended.

Great hotel freindly staff went out of their way to make our stay better by offering to change room even though we didn't particularly ask for it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is immaculately clean and covid measures are in place and well enforced. Food and drink is great, lots of choice and very tasty. Lots of spirits to choose from, when booking highly recommend All Inc Premium it’s excellent value for money and the little extras make your feel special.

Lovely hotel rooms. View from room was breathtaking. Only issue NO kettle in the room. Also if All Inclusive there should not be extra cost on food or drink. But overall great location wonderful food, staff and amenities.

This hotel has a fantastic location with sea views it is very well located. The rooms are very comfortable and above all very clean. There are enough pools and sunbeds for everyone. It is a hotel where I came already in April and which fully respects the sanitary rules. The walk around the hotel extending the sea is very pleasant. The room staff as well as the staff at the bar as well as the reception staff as well as the restaurant staff are super welcoming. Always smiling and always doing a favor. I have been coming to this hotel for over 15 years and at least more than 25 times I can only recommend it.

We just spent one week in Barceló Santiago and already started planning our next stay. All was great — friendly staff, great food and stunning views of La Gomera and Los Gigantes. Our daugher especially enjoyed the swimming-pool, the water was warm enough for playing. Also we would like to thank to the hotel staff for all the hard work implementing the covid safety measures, making our stay not just enjoyable, but safe, too!

Beautiful hotel with incredible rooms. A real luxury feel as well throughout the hotel. We saw in the new year at the Barcelo Santiago and the 7 course meal was fantastic. Great service and delicious, they definitely went the extra mile. They also made me feel very special on my 25th Birthday with cava and cake left in the room and sang me happy bday round the pool. The animation team were great and we enjoyed their activities throughout the day, especially my son. Only suggestion would be to make the food cards at the buffet bigger as you must stand at a distance from the food and you can't read what is on the menu. Thank you for our wonderful stay!

The hotel is situated in breathtaking surroundings. Our balcony with hot tub is overlooking Los Gigantes cliffs. The staff in the entire hotel is very nice and helpful. Despite the pandemic I feel very safe in here.

Just returned from a week all inclusive. Everything about the hotel is great. Literaly no complaints. All the staff are helpful and friendly, as are all the other holiday makers. One of the best holidays by far. Plenty pools and everywhere is extremely clean. Would love to return. Amazing views.

Great hotel with beautiful architecture and very nice hardworking staff. Stunning view on sunset and Los Gigantes every day. Even city view is amazing at night, as the hotel is slightly above the rest of the city. Absolutely loved my vacation here and would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

Loved the relaxed setting of 4 lovely pools. Aquaaerobics. The heated pool is currently being renovated. Located on the ocean. The view from the room is stunning.

Could not fault this place. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel and rooms were modern and kept to a high standard. There was a variety of food all which was very good. The entertainment was also brilliant. A great place for kids and adults alike.

Hands down one of the best hotels! Very clean, staff incredibly friendly, I've been to other 4star hotels in Tenerife but this one is the best so far. Great location, with views over the sea and Los Gigantes, even when sitting at the dinner table you can still enjoy the view. Staff has been helpful through the stay and they did their utter best to accommodate us. The food was also great, choice for vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters and even gluten free. Just in front of the hotel, Bar Route 66, with live music and great atmosphere, and to the right of the hotel, on the level a good restaurant, and one level under, a great cocktail bar! Definitely recommend this place for everyone, and I plan to come back some time :)!

Staff lovely, helpful and responsive. Pool area amazing, position and views unbeatable. However the rooms are tired and tatty. If I was visiting for the first time I would be disappointed at the state of the rooms and possibly not want to return. Big room refurbishment programme in progress so hopefully it will improve. I will return as I love this place.

Very well located hotel with great views of the sea and Los Gigantes. The rooms are comfortable, the meals varied and the animation at the top while being discreet. A downside, the street side rooms have to endure the noise of the box and surrounding cafes late at night.

Their all inclusive regimen is pretty good, their rooms are fine and the quality of the food is high. However, the last time I went I had a problem with the SPA schedule and the lunch buffet (both agreed) and even though I said it at the front desk, I was told that nothing could be done. I lost the lunch I had already paid, a fact that proves the bad organization and how little decisive they were. I probably won't stay there again.

We were upgraded from a room to a suite, which made the visit as we had expected. Otherwise we would have been disappointed with the standard of the room, although it is currently under renovation. The reception staff were helpful and welcoming. Farah in particular was professional and endeavoured to assist with any issue. There are very few local restaurants and shops. This is not a central location. But ideal if you are looking to simply relax with good food. The buffet food was exceptional, and I can speak with confidence as I am VERY particular about food quality and cleanliness. Despite catering for hundreds of customers at mealtimes, the process of dining was obviously a slick operation and staff were consitently attentive and friendly. The pool area and communal area was always clean. There were plenty of sun loungers and the option of renting luxury beds (for a hefty fee of €15pp. We thought €15 per bed would've been more appropriate). The evening entertainment was a good standard the majority of the time. The Flaminco dancing, musical night and magic show being the highlights. The games room was cosmetically pleasing to the younger audience, however, the air hockey table lacked air and the pool table was broken. This certainly let the hotel down, but attention to detail is paramount to the hotel, so I would expect this will be renovated and updated accordingly.

Although this is down as 4* I think more 3*although some rooms are being renovated… Hotel was friendly but all needs renovating we are on 2nd floor and had balcony with beautiful sea views. Food was hot service good but menu was repeated more than I expected… Staff friendly and helpful.

It was Wiedermal super. The location is simply delightful, with a view of the sea.

Hello I wanted to share my discontent on this hotel. … I start with the negative points: — the food is good but unfortunately too repetitive.
— The rooms are very old and need a coup de neuf — speaking not French service staff.
— The big problem! The Chef JET TOURS Erwan which according to me is completely overwhelmed by the situation does not risk you to ask him qlq thing he is never aware of anything and gives bad information!
Moreover I suspect that he washes every day he does not smell the fresh all day and this is seen on his face… sometimes arogant at the welcome cocktail he spoke to me directly in front of everyone by tutuyant me and pointing at me is an HON TE… even his wonderful annimateur was embarrassing. … positive points: — the breathtaking view of Los Gigantes — the day and evening animations small point for Holly and her Aquagym classes + + + + — the friendliness of the waiters and the reception — the calm despite the activities the animators respect the quiet places

Eating really an experience. Location tip. Service nice and helpful.

We enjoy our holiday at the 1st week of the Vacs in February and we are not disappointed with this hotel.
Perfect room all comfort with nevertheless a small renovation to do to the bathroom which is old-fashioned.
The food is there as well as all the service staff!
Now I would like to emphasize the excellent work of the manager Mini Club Alexandre for his professionalism and his angelic smile that made my child have spent the most beautiful vacation in his life! We didn't come up with Jet Tours but thanks to him they just won a customer I wouldn't know how to thank him Alexander if you see this message, we love to go to your destination summer try to contact us!

Rooms have seen better times, nice view though. Food was ok, breakfasts are good but diners are not that great. We had some issues with extra bed that was too small for me (I'm 183cm tall) and so they added mattress that is full size. I recomend rooms in higher floors, they are a bit nicer.

We have stayed twice now and both times we have loved it. It's got to have some of the best views on the island and the hotel is also very nice. It's well worth paying for a sea view room if you can. There are lots of places to eat and drink around the hotel so I would recommend going half board or bed and breakfast. The breakfast at the hotel was great however the evening meal was pretty a pretty typical buffet style, which didn't really suite us. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. We will return.

Attention spectacular they are very attentive both in the restaurant the waiters and the people who serve the food, very good service, everything clean and a good atmosphere, a place welcoming and recommended.

Good hotel with top location for relatively small money deficit parking situation difficult. Hotel has an underground garage cost but €10 per day and parking spaces are very tightly designed.

The food served for breakfast and dinner is not really good. And the rooms on the side of the town suffer from noise from a discotheque nearby playing music all night.

Very overrated on the internet. The best thing are the views and the cleanliness. The rest, in the middle of the area. Nothing remarkable. Not recommended for residents because they don't give you a late check out.

The location of the hotel is outstanding if not Mountain View is booked. Our room 459 looks out over a footpath, directly to the sea. On the horizon lies La Gomera. The hotel is gradually brought to "new stand" — but is not important to me. Dinner and Breakfast on the terrace always amaze me. I have been visiting this hotel for 15 years regularly 2-3 weeks at the end of the year.

Hotel and room… fantastic! So much to see and do… or just chill. Something for everyone! Breathtaking views from everywhere! Pools and amenities. Brilliant! Food… first class! Staff and services… amazing and so helpful! What more can I say Hotel Barceló Santiago, you have delivered what you promised and I would recommend you to anyone. Thank you.

Great hotel. Great view. Multiple pools. Fitness Center is limited to the most necessary aver clean and you even get towels and drink. Staff are friendly and proficient at least English and more than half German. Little German tourists, mainly French. Direct access to the sea, right down the stairs. Food is madness even if the cocktails are rather average. No real drawback.

We were there in September and have been uncomfortably surprised. Briefly tiled climatage defective, in the room cockroaches awning also defective. Third bed a disaster. At the welcome, you served us food leftovers intended for the homeless. I noticed that some dishes were served several times without changing a bowl. For 500-800 food, you serve only 1 cake, so it can only only serve the first 10 as a consolation prize. I could write even more, but that's no point here if you're already ignored in the hotel. For the money I can spend somewhere else holidays because Barcelo is history for me.

Really breathtaking views of the rock Los Gigantes from the pool area, the dining rooms and the rooms in the north wing.
A compliment to the architects who designed the hotel over 30 years ago and to the operators who are obviously renovating it continuously. There was nothing to complain about in our room on the 4th floor except for the worn out bathroom.
The buffet at all meals is rich and tasty. Target group, especially at breakfast, the predominantly British guests. Extraordinary culinary Highlights we did not expect in a holiday hotel of this size and therefore not missing.
The friendly waiters, who perform their tasks unusually quickly and professionally, deserve special praise.

Great hotel. Plenty of food with lots of variety. The pools are good with lots of sun beds around to relax. The staff are extremely helpful and always smiling. Entertainment will keep the kids busy day and night. The area has not been made too touristy but are just enough shops to buy gifts etc and a few good bars.

Yesterday November 01, 2017 for dinner schimmligen striped cheese at the buffet! Staff informed, I had cheese with me on the plate, first noticed at the table that something is wrong. The appetite had passed!
Staff takes the dish from the buffet short sorry and that was it. The management does not deem it necessary to apologize for such a gross error.
The shell was half empty, the poor other guests who ate this spoiled cheese… so we go the last 10 days with horror to eat!

Nice terrace with swimming pool where you can take something with very good views. Waiters attentive and service very good. Highly recommended even if you're not staying at the hotel.

Good holiday, the waiters were very attentive and friendly, the food very good and varied, the room small for three people and the air conditioning works poorly, but in general, all very well. We were in the all-inclusive premium and it was worth it.

The hotel is very nice. Good buffet breakfast, friendly staff. Evening until midnight however on the southern side very noisy by music from pubs and other hotels.

This wonderful hotel is built into the cliff… the view from balcony is second to none. Bali beds are available to hire for the day which cava and fruit can be delivered at a time of your choice. There are several pools one of which an infinity pool, plus a children's pool and even a Jacuzzi pool. The staff are all amazing and incredibly friendly from the maids, to bar staff, to restaurant staff to reception staff and not forgetting the entertainment team who keep everyone amused from children to adults with many activities and shows. All rooms have air conditioning and balcony most of which are facing the sea, where you can view fishing boats and dolphins… if you are lucky… on our visit we didn't see the dolphins but heard them most evenings. I would recommend this hotel to young, old or families.

2 days into the holiday and absolutely loving it. Room wasn't ready on arrival but they gave us junior suite, spa tickets and a free safe for duration of our stay. The rooms are clean and well kept. So far the food and drink selection has been sublime! The staff are friendly and helpful. Looking forward to spending the rest of our holidays here!

Lovely hotel with a lot of different facilities. Very clean area, both in — and outdoors. Restaurant has new and fresh food on a daily base and varies enough to try and eat something different every single meal. The animation team is wonderful and supplies you with a whole bunch of activities and amazing shows. Suitable for all ages. Would definitely recommend this hotel, it is located slightly outside of the biggest tourist area and thus also a bit quieter. Very nice. :)

Spectacular view, staff always helpful, great breakfast there is everything, good international lunch and dinner to really review the superior room where I was staying is not exactly like in the photos of the internet site. Old Furniture mini fridge with the door that Nn closes. Too bad because the location is unique!

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views from the pool but from the room too if you have a sea view. Staff is very nice and helpful. You can talk and joke with them. Food delicious but monotonous. Clean rooms. I recommend rooms higher than first floor. The best rooms are from sixth floor and higher because they are renovated. Enterteiment was very interesting in daytime but in night-time too. I can recommend this hotel for families but for elderly people too. It was a wonderful vacation with amazing people.

Yesterday was my last day with my two best friends and I have to say, best place I have ever stayed at! As soon as we arrived we were already being looked after. All the staff were very helpful! The food was brilliant! The views were fantastic and I have to say the Thomson rep Tony had been very helpful and helped us go on trips I've always wanted to do! Thank you very much for everything and I will definitely be staying again! This is my second time in Tenerife and the Island is very beautiful!

Today is our last full day of our 2 week holiday at this beautiful place.
We come last year for a week and it just wasn't long enough.
The waiting staff work so hard and are always helpful and friendly. I need to say a special thank you to Bruno on the front desk who was brilliant.
Unfortunately we had to call out a doctor for my daughter and within 15 minutes he was in our hotel.
The animation team do a fantastic job. They somehow manage to entertain both children and adults. There is so much to do and I can recommend Aqua Zumba and Pool Biking, something for everyone. I feel Frankie and Marco are a credit to the team especially.
As for the evening entertainment. The kids absolutely love mini disco and there is also a Kids Club.
I think the level of entertainment this year is of the highest standard of any holiday I have ever been on. The White Party was brilliant, but the Latino Group who perform Spanish & English songs were absolutely amazing! I would have paid good money to see them. Brilliant party atmosphere.
The food is great.
It was my husbands 50th out here and we were welcomed with pink champagne and chocolates waiting for us on the room.
Oh and as for the views… Well you really need to see them To believe them.

We would return every year. This was our second visit. We sleep in a double room overlooking the sea and a terrace with hammocks… A hotel pass. Proper buffet, waiters super attentive and nice people, very clean hotel, and pool and stunning views. The Spa a little disappointing, expensive for what they offer, a penalty. Although it was very nice and clean. An amazing hotel. They have parking at the hotel by day 10e, while outside there is parking options, we parked opposite without problem (is also true that it was may).

Exquisite staff. Excellent performance.

Attended a música event. It was by the swimming pool. Fantastic bee gees tribute but the location could have been studied better instead of putting the band in the middle of the audience where the sound would disperdere to only 2 directions and the rest of the audience behind and on the sides could not hear much.

Visiting in May the weather was in the mid 20s. A superb modern hotel with lots of facilities, pools and bars with spectacular views out to sea. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday, would defiantly recommend and consider revisiting again.

Damaged furniture, armchair all dirty (patches of cream solar+sudor), cleaning a little excasa, above all in the bathroom, dusty, cockroaches, smell of food, you have to pay if you want to park in the parking (10€ / day! ), you do not have all drinks included in the all inclusive, when the days are bad, the animation is not very lively. The best, the staff, the treatment is very good, friendly and very cordial, certainly the best.

Food is lovely. Views brilliant but better on 8th or 9th floor. Shops over from hotel. Nice break in lovely quiet area.

Amazing hotel, breakfast is good for all ages, dinner wasn't great for kids only thing to eat for them was chips. Great views, everyone is helpful, great pools, overall great, shops just across the road, great town of Los Gigantes is close by and cheap to get to in taxi, highly recommended to everyone.

Very nice Hotel. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the Tapas Bar is consistently closed. The rooms are tidy if upon closer Inspection, something old. The location of the hotel is certainly the most beautiful on Tenerife. Directly in front of the rooms is the sea.

This has been one of the best holidays I have been on the hotel staff was amazing specially with my 4 year old daughter the food was amazing the drinks where great and the service was 5* we was all inclusive and it was well worth it we will be coming back next year :).

Good value for money in all inclusive.

The hotel has throughout his best years behind him. The terraces are hardly relaxing, plaster and paint is missing and his coat has the railing by the constant and aggressive infestation of bird droppings. The food will vary depending on the shape of the kitchen team. French fries are too dark, even little fried and almost raw. Spices are often missing at dinner. Vegetable tastes mostly like water. Like in Spain usually there is little choice of breads. Instead the same dough with raisins or onions or grains. Ruhr eggs be touched also instead of using milk with water, which makes them turn bland taste. But found his daily Favorites, to be well fed. Stayed here a while ago but really enjoyed my stay here. Food was above standard and the staff were really helpful and friendly. There's a nice walk dwon to Los Gigantes though its hilly and has steps. Plenty to do and plenty to see in different directions. Los Gigantes is a nice place and in the other direction Puerto de Santiago is a quaint little village. No problem recommending this hotel. Actually writing this is making me want to go back.

A hotel that from the first minute you enter you feel like at home, at the front desk are very friendly and quick for registration.
