Very Nice hotel with a great view. Great brekfast buffet. Just a vacation without worries, thanks to Royal Sun and TUI Travel♥️♥️

Spent a week here with my partner and daughter. Absolutely gorgeous hotel! Apartments are spacious and well maintained. Balcony is beyond belief and the view 😍 Every single member of staff was exceptional apart from one lifeguard who was intent on ruining everyone’s fun by the pool. He was rude and a jobs worth to say the least. The AQUA restaurant cannot be described! It was exceptional! The food was unlike anything we had every experienced. The staff… especially one lady (didn’t catch her name) was fabulous! We visited twice (Wednesday and Saturday I think) and both times were mesmerising! The chefs are a credit to themselves The pool is gorgeous and the oasis bar, though limited with its menu, what we did have was great! Especially the club sandwich! Lovely area close to the marina which was a picture of beauty! 100% recommend however…… my only complaint is that they cannot accommodate late checkout. Our flight wasn’t until 11pm and were told that we had to leave the room by 12. Too much time wandering about the hotel waiting for our airport transfer which was frustrating and tiring to say the least 🙄

Great resort, pool and voted best restaurante this year aqua.

Got offered an upgrade to the 6th floor — was amazing. Absolutely huge balcony with hot tub and amazing views over the sea especially at night watching the sun set. Lots of walking to get to anywhere on steep hills but taxi back about 4euros, all staff extremely helpful in every way possible. For me personally it was to remote I much prefer the other side of the island. Take trainers if your going!

Absolutely brilliant hotel, Joe the entertainer is brilliant with the kids and family's, can't wait to come back next year. All the staff are friendly and have a chat, clean rooms, big and spacious. Can't fault it. And the views are just wow.

First time abroad in 14 years — this hotel was stunning. Great views, extremely helpful staff, Maria (breakfast and dinner), Ricardo, and Dima just to name a few of the very polite and customer friendly staff. Amazing hotel, amazing views and lovely staff. Highly recommended, clean, value for money, variety in menu and some evening entertainment.

Just back from a week here and hotel amazing, spectacular views, spotlessly clean and so spacious! Special credit goes to Joe for keeping us all laughing and entertained around the pool etc!

The balcony with views across to the west gave us perfect sunsets each evening.
spacious, clean, friendly, great breakfast buffet… the list could go on.
We will return. Downside was the climb up the hill, but I'm fitter for it too 😁

An unpleasant and sometimes aggressive attitude from the staff! We are very disappointed with the way we were treated in this hotel. We mentioned the difficulties we had encountered, but the hotel manager felt he could not change the past… what professionalism! Apart from these problems, the room was fine, although we would have appreciated some capsules for the appliances.

Lovely hotel — very clean and comfortable rooms with fantastic views. Felt very covid safe. We stayed half board and enjoyed our meals. Always plenty of choice.

Fantastic terraces, extremely large, but would be better to upgrade for the ones with spa and outside shower. Comes in handy in the heat!

Hello and thank you for a wonderful week at your hotel. Before we left we were worried about Corona. But you had done a fantastic job so you could feel safe. And the courtship of our son-in-law's birthday was much appreciated. We long to return. Greetings from us in room 412 during week 44.

The hotel is in a spectacular place plus the service is 10 the lifeguard and the pool waiter very attentive and friendly in addition to doing a good job of disinfecting hammocks and other parts of the pool. In conclusion a 10.

Fantastic facilities. The heated pool from which you will never feel like leaving. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This is nicely placed place from Where you walk downstairs cirka 25 minuters nearby romantic villas.

We stayed at the Royal Sun, August 2019 and had the most wonderful time. The hotel staff were friendly and provided us with local information and the rooms were spacious and clean and well equipped with everything we required. Our balcony hosted the most stunning views and the bar and swimming pool areas were always very clean and tidy. We paid for bed and breakfast and had no complaints with the food or service provided. We also hired a car for the duration of our stay and had no problems with parking at the hotel but it's a bit more difficult in the local towns and lots of parking you must pay for. However overall we had a really good holiday and would 100 percent recommend the Royal Sun.

What an amazing place and people especially the life guard Damon such a lovely man and he does an amazing job can’t wait to come back see him again next year.

Lovely stay in a 2 bedroom luxury apartment. The hot tub was amazing because of the beautiful views on the large balcony. Would be happy to visit again.

Staying here at the moment for our Christmas holiday, cant fault anything great suites, friendly staff.

It was our 4th time visiting this year. The apartment is amazing and the balcony which is very spacious faces the sea with amazing views. We will definitely be returning next year as we were only home a few hours and went and booked our holiday next year at the Royal Sun Resort. We would definitely give 5 stars for this amazing place.

Where do I start. Probably the staff. They are helpful engaging great at their jobs and make every genuine effort to make you welcome. We had laughed made photographs played cards and had from pleasant exchanges to great conversations with them. They make this hotel, which is saying something because the views are breath taking from sunsets to the moon setting in the morning.
You could almost live on your spacious balcony.
Our room had everything it needed, with a modern well equipped kitchen (washing machine dishwasher included) a sitting area bed and bathroom (with shower and bath).
We were half board, and enjoyed our food both breakfast and evening meal having the option to
Use the buffet or have things cooked for you. We ate different every day and enjoyed the food the entertainment, the views and the staff who cooked for us and served us. A special mention to the entertainment crew, always smiling, getting people involved (a bit competitive) and lovely people. Lastly we had a massage which you can book at reception. The massage was excellent as he focussed on correcting posture and removing tension specific to our needs rather then just a run of the mill massage. Overall a great experience.

Fantastic stay 10/09/19 for a week kids had a whale of a time the animation team Stephanie and Adrian were great so patient and very attentive with the kids and adults alike I would most certainly recommend this hotel I hope to visit again at some point from reception to bar staff all staff couldn’t fault any of them all very friendly and helpful thanks for a great week.

Location of Royal Sun Resort gives a great advantage of wonderful ocean view for all the rooms! I have never seen such a beautiful view from room terrace. Additionally, it is situated not far from natural swimming pools and Playa de la Arena
Apartments are nice and have very large terrace.
Kitchen at the main restaurant is very tasty. It has a great choice for different taste and high quality!
Reception was very friendly and helpful, trying to offer all the available information for vast variety of questions. Crina and her colleague Wendy had done that! :)
Advantages: view, location, cuisine, reception, Wi-Fi.
Disadvantages: furniture in apartments could be more up-to-date ; not sufficient air conditioning at some public places (own observations).

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The upgraded rooms, are brilliant. This year we upgraded to the 6th floor, with a jacuzzi and 3 bedrooms. All the views from each room are amazing! Rooms are very clean and well equipped, the food isn’t the best, very luke warm all the time. We have done HB last year and B&B this year. There is plenty of choice for restaurants around the town and Santiago. La Pergola overlooking the sea is a must, the food is amazing, a little bit more pricey but worth it. We love this hotel and are hoping to come back for New Year!

Second visit here, it’s fab! Pool is really nice, staff are friendly and breakfast is ace! Love it!

It's a fantastic place we love it ❤️The staff are excellent, can't wait for October when we go again.

We had room 606 and it was amazing… three bed penthouse! The only two things that need to be changed are: Child safety lock on apartment door as they could easily get out, a higher bolt lock would be ideal! The second thing would be anti slip mats on balcony near Jacuzzi as two accidents happened in our 10 days there! Other than that staff were amazing, clean room and brilliant cocktails ❤️

We have nearly finished a 2 wee stay here at the royal sun, the hotel it’s self can’t be faulted it’s beautifully clean and the views are spectacular. The rooms are large and spacious with everything you need.
My only complaint is the food. We came half board and have eaten twice in the restaurant in the evening. The food is horrendous! Very little choice, nothing if you are vegetarian as everything is mixed. The food that is available is cold and tasteless. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten worse. I would not recommend half board.
The breakfast is fine, again things are cold (beans, porridge, eggs)
The smoked salmon is under the hot lamp which is very strange.
We have highlighted this to our rep and apparently nothing can be done to rectify our issues and as a result we have eaten out each evening at an extra cost.
The staff are all lovely and very friendly although we did come access an extremely rude lady in the breakfast room who shouted at us when we tried to take 1 bread roll out of the dining room for my mother who was arriving later that evening.
Lots of people take plates of food away so I’m not sure what the problem was with us taking a roll.

It's cool! But far from the water. Gios is constantly closed, the pool with sea water also go but there is no sand, some stones. The Nearest Arena, but walk 40 minutes, for a sunbed 3 Euro. But! Liked! Ocean!

Beautiful views of Los gigantes cliff side, hotel situated at top of hill and last resort next to cliffs. The upgraded rooms are lovely plenty of space on balcony and in room. Equipment in room all in working order and clean, looks fairly new. The service at reception is superb and all the staff are very helpful and welcoming. Food at the buffet restaurant (half-board) is good and there's plenty of choice. The pool is very sleek looking though it isn't at all big. No good beach within walking distance which is why I give it a 4 star. Would definitely return to hotel as the apartment rooms for self catering are brilliant.

Great place breakfasts are amazing, aqua restaurant is very good. Rooms are nice and big, even the cheap ones. Recommended we will come back here.

This is our fifth visit to Royal Sun. As on previous occasions we have found the standards of the hotel very high. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, everywhere is very clean and maintained to a high standard. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. We will be returning again.

Crazy view from the terrace of the room, ocean and rocks! Super! A little far to the beach, but the view overlaps everything else.

Best views and apartment wow. So clean and area around lovely with nice bars and few restaurants. Only a small beah here but a 10 minute bus ride and you have a choice of beeches. Liked it so much have booked again for September.

Quality establishment on the heights. The renovated apartments are very nice. The superb view is hearty breakfasts. A good choice.

Lovely staff and breakfast good, but… Dinner was mainly served too cold at (Regency) place. The floor surfaces were really slippery with the elbows with rain and after the floor cleaning. I was falling too many times, but I survived.

Spend 3 days here. Calm and relaxing. Beautiful rooms and great service. We were 4 people and they upgrade our room to pent house. Beautiful view from balcony. Superb. Prices for the restaurant are very economical and buffet has many dishes and good taste.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in August. When we arrived and got to our room we were stunned how beautiful the room was along with the huge balcony and an amazing view of Los Gigantes. The staff were really nice and helpful. We loved it. We will be coming back in October :)

A Great place to stay for you and your loved ones. Beautiful views and always beautiful weather, as well as a pleasant and friendly atmosphere created by the host. Having been here once, you certainly want to come back here again and again!

Lovely self catering apartment with large balcony and beautiful views. The bed is so comfortable which is not always the case when travelling. The location is great for beautiful views and peace and quiet but not good if you don't like hills! A taxi is on 3.50 euros into town and worth every penny!

Great hotel. Standard of cleanliness is excellent. Apartments are well equipped and very large terraces which we sunbathed on as the pool was very crowded with mainly children. Only ate in the buffet restaurant which was a disappointment as there wasn't much variety and nearly cold.

Gorgeous hotel. Views are amazing. Food is ok. The staff at the pool are extremely rude. They clearly don't like children at the pool. A lovely break tainted by rude bar and pool staff. Would recommend management give their staff some customer service training. Reception and DJ at night were very helpful and friendly.

A magnificent view of the sea. Lived together in 4 bedded room. Perhaps due to the fact that we rested on the advertising round, us oblizyvali every day. But once refused to buy Club holidays, nice diametrically changed. Not even came out to say goodbye before leaving.

Stunning views from the room (terrace), quiet both day and night, heard only the waves. Rooms not new but in decent condition. Great breakfasts, dinners't know about — ate in other places. Wifi on troechku with a minus: room very poor, had to go down to reception. Also has a TV with a couple of Russian TV channels, swimming pool, gym, etc.

“Great hotel with amazing ocean view! ” I had a great vacation with my family in Tenerife fro the last 2 weeks. I selected this hotel because of its amazing view to the Atlantic Ocean and the near island. I've never regret it and spent great time there. We had one bedroom apartment (living area, equipped kitchen, bathroom) with a large terrace (2 sunbeds, table with chairs). The room is large, everything working properly, cleaning service every day, etc. The pool area is clean, there is a bar and a kids room there at the pool, you an relax, so. There is a shop downstairs but if want to save money just go down the hill to Mercadona or Superdyno supermarkets and fill the fridge. There are 3 public beaches there — Playa de la Arena, Playa de Guios, Playa Something, if you want to swim in the ocean water. All of them are of black volcanic sand! Amaing. So, great place to stay at. Room Tip: We had 307 room but if you want to avoid noise just ask for a room far enough from the restaurant/pool.

I really liked this hotel. My parents vacationed there, and there really enjoyed it. Nice and clean rooms. Beautiful view of the city, and roars of the ocean. The food in the restaurant, and the coffee is very tasty. The waiters are very friendly and nice. We were delighted.
