Minura Sur Menorca

We wanted some sun before the dark days of a UK winter & we hoped Menorca would provide this. We weren't disappointed. We booked two rooms because there were 4 of us but when we checked in we were given an upgrade to a premium suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a small sitting area and a roof top terrace.
The hotel was very clean and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Zayna gets a special mention because her smile as we went to dinner each night lit up the room. The food was fresh, plentiful and very tasty.
The free bus to nearby beaches was a real bonus and the bus to Mahon actually stopped in the hotel grounds.
I would definately recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and my room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Everything felt well taken care of.
The only thing I’d suggest is to create a small area with tables for guests who smoke, since it was only possible to smoke in front of the hotel. Other than that, everything was perfect – I’d definitely love to come back! 🌿✨

A nice hotel. Well maintained with plentiful and helpful staff.
I pre emailed the hotel with requests of a high floor room with a sunset view in a quiet area. We were allocated room 335 which fit the bill despite being close to the lifts. The room wasn’t large and a mirror above the vanity unit was sadly lacking. Didn’t need the TV in its place.
Lots of nationalities within the hotel and thankfully we all rubbed along nicely.
Food good and plentiful for main meals. Only went for snacks once. Drinks were all fine. Would have liked that the hot drinks dispensers were available more than just at breakfast. Tea/coffee an essential element to most brits holidays. (Defo bring your own tea bags)
Evening entertainment was the weakest element of the whole trip.
Would recommend this place out of season. Might be a squish in main season.

Cleanliness — the hotel is spotless, the rooms are kept very clean, there are always staff cleaning around common areas and they are all so polite and always ready to say Ola! The pool is cleaned each night and there are staff collecting cups all day. Some sun beds are past their best but perfectly functional.
Sun beds and pool — massive lack of sunbeds and I refuse to be queuing for an hour in the morning to get one. The main pool gets so busy you can’t really swim, but it’s lovely for a cool off and the deep end is very deep which was really nice. The afternoon pool ballgame takes over the whole pool and so it’s hard to relax because the ball comes flying out the pool onto people lay on beds, spilling drinks etc.
The splash pool at the opposite end of the hotel was barren and just awful surroundings. Might as well be closed.
Tea/coffee — the tea and coffee in rooms is not replenished and although the hotel coffee is really nice. I hated that the only time I could have one in an actual mug was at breakfast, no tea or coffee during lunch or dinner and at the poor bar it’s served in plastic all day. Not nice at all. Surely at snack time you should serve tea and coffee in mugs!
Drinks — very very good, bar staff excellent and although always served in plastic, I had no complaints. Premium cocktails charged but the AI selection was fab. Alcoholic slush’s were so welcome and delicious.
Food-VERY hit and miss. Overall it was ok. Some nights were a struggle.

Would recommend. Friendly staff. Good quality and Choice of food. Nice gym.
All level access and good lifts. Easy facilities like toilets all modern. Good shuttle bus, on time not much of a que.
Started to get a little busy on last day and need to be quick to get the best Sun beds.

Me and my partner had a brilliant holiday here! The hotel was modern and immaculate throughout and the pool/bar area was always kept clean. The hotel also has a free shuttle to the nearby town & beach in Punta Prima as well as paid buses to Binibeca and Mahón, which were great for days out.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant; I have coeliac disease and was initially worried about eating somewhere new, but they were always happy to show me what was gluten free and showed great knowledge of cross contamination. There is a separate section for gluten free cereal and they also have gluten free pastries (packaged), pasta and pizza (cooked in a dedicated oven) available on request. The bar also has gluten free beer!
We were very happy with our stay and will definitely be coming back!

From Brian who booked us into the hotel to Justina who often served us drinks, every single person who worked at this beautiful, spotlessly clean hotel, were extremely friendly, happy and smiley.
The two pools, one for tots, were easily accessible by both a slope and steps. I was in most of the day tbh! Plenty of sun loungers and so no "dashing" for one in the early hours of the morning!
The food was divine — too many choices to be honest — would have loved to have tried all! Breakfast included, omlettes with various tasty fillings of tuna, cheese and ham, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, a huge variety of meats cheeses, croissants, breads, cereals, juices, coffees.
The lunches and dinner choices just as amazing with so so many deserts to die for!
Various toasties, pizzas, cakes, ice lollies and ice-creams were available as snacks before and after lunch.
The choices for all inclusive drinks included cocktails, beers, soft drinks, coffees and water.
Our room was very spacious with a mini fridge, kettle, sachets of coffees, teas and sugar and cups. The bathroom was sufficient with the beds made and clean towels daily.
A free bus to the gorgeous local beach where I swam for at least an hour in the beautiful clear sea. With a few shops and a couple of lovely cafes and several stalls selling clothes, bags etc. And a lady plaiting and beading hair.
There are 2 shops in the hotel selling gifts, jewellery and snacks. Very reasonably priced and a nice salesman.

We had a really good experience — rooms are clean staff animations team and all guests were really friendly. Food is good, always something to choose from. The gym has everything you need to enjoy your workout. Big shout out to Noelia from animation team, she goes above and beyond and made our holiday!

I can not recommend this hotel enough. After staying in Minura’s hotel in Cala Galdana we decided to come to this one after being so pleased there. Our expectations were met and beyond. All the staff were so lovely and so attentive. Rooms have recently been refurbished, room cleaning daily, and a great size. All the rooms have a smart TV and sofa which were very impressed by. The food was honestly to die for, every breakfast, lunch and tea was a different range of foods, all cooked to perfection, there was always something for everyone — if you’re a foodie like us this is definitely the hotel to come to. The hotel is in a great location, and the hotel’s free shuttle bus throughout the day to punta prima and to binibequer was such an added bonus that shows how this hotel goes above and beyond. We were a little unsure where to get on the bus back to the hotel from punta prima as we walked there, and on the way back we were struggling with the heat, the bus driver saw our wristbands and pulled over and asked if we wanted a ride. A very special shout out has to go to the animation team, especially Dani and Jordan. Constant fun activites throughout the day you could do if you wanted, again, something for everyone, and we were shocked they were all free! We definitely got stuck in and did archery, volleyball, aqua aerobics, darts, shuttle board, and so many more. But again if you want a more chilled holiday you can just relax by the pool.

Room was nice and modern, just enough for the two of us.
My daughter loved the pool and the waterpark! Handy with it being so close to the hotel.
We found it relaxed and more chilled then previous places we've stayed which was good for us, with it being just us two.
Food and drinks were good, a great selection of both each day.
The free shuttle bus is a good addition to the hotel which brings you down to the beach… or it's just a 10 minute walk.
We love menorca and most definitely would consider staying here again in the future!
A holiday my daughter will never forget.

Good: Pool and room, bathroom very small.
Staff all lovely — very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Justina in the bar.
The food was well cooked and regularly replenished but was that of a 3* restaurant not a 4*. There was no shellfish (as someone had said in a review), no cava at breakfast, limited variety of breads, wine on tap — no bottles available on all inclusive. Poor variety of cheeses, no steaks or beef dishes. There were no table cloths or mats. Ice cream was all in tubs, no serve yourself, no sauces or toppings.
Nightly entertainment — but, if you were not interested in the entertainment, there was nowhere cosy with music you could sit and have a drink. Only the outside bar was open so you had to keep trapsing outside in the cold and rain for drinks.
For All Inclusive guests, ALL drinks at ALL hours were served in plastic beakers whereas paying guests got a variety of finer plastic glasses of different shapes. This is discriminative and I understand plastic beakers for the poolside but not in the bar area or at night during the entertainment. It was like being at McDonalds! Drinks in general were poor.
All Inclusive stopped at 12 on the day of departure — this is the first time this has happened for me and quite disappointing.
A mixed experience.

Myself and my 2 children came on 4th may we didn’t arrive till midnight but the receptionist man was welcoming and even put a cold spread on which I thought was a nice gesture.
We was told it was 12pm checkout so our all inclusive ended however we had a late pick up time of 8pm so for 8hours we was expected to sit there with no food or drink even though the TUI rep spoke to the reception and they agreed for us to have lunch as we arrived late and that we could pay 17€ for adult and 11.5€ for child this allowed us to have drinks and evening meal before we left but this was not the case after I paid another receptionist was on from the previous one and said we could only have drinks until 6pm but if we wanted a evening meal we would have to pay another 21€ each on top of the previous payment made that morning which to me seemed a lot of money to pay so I declined to pay again when we had already been told one thing from one staff member then told different by another. The pool was ok and kids enjoyed it but was constantly being told to move when the animation staff came on to do water activity which was fine.

Best last min desicion ive ever made. Mecand my 12yr old son had 2 days to pack before we left for our 4 day break away. Hotel is like a travellodge, very clean, comfortable. Both balcony and showers very small.
Food was a typical all in buffet, plenty of choice but did need to be a lot hotter, often only warm.
Pool so clean and tidy. I can imagine in the summer it would ve very crowded. Waterpark amazing literally across the carpark, so much fun, apart from awful surface for feet so wear hard watershoes. Staff fabulous in all areas. Location. Get on the buses and explore as lovely moa harbour and zoo was great. Punta prima, not the best as not alot there bar a nice beach and basic bar or shops. I would defo recommend for anyone travelling with 12 and unders. Oh and alcohol slushes are fabulous, we had a great 4 days.

Visited family of 6 in April 25. Booked direct on the website and signed up to membership. Good communication by email with the hotel prior to travelling. Very fast efficient and welcoming check in got upgraded to premium suite, Aleck at reception to thank for that. Amazing stay, food was great and accommodated allergies and dietary needs. Angel went out of his way to help in the dining area. Zara was amazing, and the entertainment team with Youssef. Thanks to all the staff for making us feel comfortable.

Stayed as a family of three for 5 nights. Had a fantastic time! The animation team, in particular Danny ensured our stay was the best it could be and went above and beyond with organising many activities from morning yoga, aqua aerobics to shooting and cocktail making. Thank you so kuch Danny for making our stay brilliant! Zuzanna, Joanna and Janusz.

Friendly check in explained everything. Assisted us to our premium 2 bed suite, which was spacious, spotlessly clean Gorgeous sea views. Powerful shower. 2nd bathroom with bath. Lots to do for children. Restaurant, friendly staff, gorgeous food, lots to choose from. Friendly bar staff, Lots of sunbeds. Spacious grounds. Good location. Would highly recommend.

Considering it was end of season when we stayed (literally closing the day we departed), I cannot say I felt the quality or enthusiasm was any less. The food was delicious and so varied every day, although more maintenance to keep the flies away would be nice (maybe some dish covers? ). The staff were so friendly and kind to my 6yo. The animation team were funny and just what you would want. The experience was marred by the overwhelming presence of wasps during the day which congregate around the bins. The bins themselves I really applaud for trying to be environmentally friendly, however they need staggering out and maintaining more often, as we were constantly fighting the wasps off around the pool/outside dining.
The water park was fab, however be aware to bring beach shoes as the floor was really rough and painful to walk on. Overall, was really pleasantly surprised by the hotel and would love to return if they sort the wasp issue out!
