Finca Serena Mallorca, Small Luxury Hotels

Let me first start by saying we really enjoyed our time here. As a 30ish younger couple looking for the time to relax, it was great. But was it 5 stars? Absolutely not.
I think what frustrates me was that it’s little things that could have made our stay much better. First the staff. They were trying their best but you could tell they were undertrained and understaffed.
The pool. Beautiful and quaint. But for a 5 star hotel, there should always be clean towels at the pool. And a place to put dirty towels? They were just laying all over the loungers all the time. And there should always be some sort of water at the pool for you to drink. Having to place a drink order and wait an extended amount of time was slightly irritating.
The drinks. Mediocre at best. For the price point I thought it was pricy for what you got. I’d expect a sangria to have more garnish that just a lime? But okay….
Our room. The morning and evening housekeeping was a really nice touch that we didn’t know we needed. Appreciate that. We did have issues with AC. But told the front desk and it was addressed. Otherwise, no major issues there. Beds were super comfy.
The spa was really nice. Sauna wasn’t working so that was a bummer. The lady who did my treatment was SO kind. But I have to say the scrub followed by the massage felt kinda stingy because you got “1 hour” and that included the mid point shower and dressing.
The food? Impeccable. So so so so good. Can’t say enough good things here.

This stay exceeded our expectations! Amazing rooms, property, pool, amenities, F&B, and team. I loved spending time here, but it does feel isolated from the rest of the island, which we didn't mind for this trip! Even on a Saturday in August, the pool felt so calm and there was always a lounger available.
Note on location: If you are looking a relaxing holiday and don't want to leave the property very much, then this is perfect. But, just beware if you are wanting this to be a jumping off place, it's not the most accessible without a car and at least 30-40min drive to the coast.

We expected luxury. What we got was sewage and two hours in a lobby.
Finca Serena was supposed to be the grand finale of our Mallorca trip. Instead, we were greeted by a horrible sewage smell as we walked to our room, which only got worse the closer we got. The stench even followed us inside.
We asked for help immediately. While the front desk staff were lovely (thank you Paula and Maria), we spent over two hours being offered rooms that didn’t match what we booked, being told no manager was available, and watching the hotel list more rooms on Expedia that they told us were “sold out. ”
This is a five-star property with five-star pricing — but the service and response fell far short. No management came to speak with us.
Finca Serena may look beautiful, but this experience left a very sour taste at the end of an otherwise perfect vacation. Major letdown.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It was exactly what we wanted a nice hotel buried in the middle of the island surrounded by Olive trees and a vineyard. The pool is without a doubt the best part. Would stay here again!

We came to their restaurant two years ago and absolutely loved it, so we were really looking forward to coming back—this time with our baby. We made a reservation in advance, and nowhere did it say it was adults only. No warning on the website, booking form, or confirmation email. Nothing.
We drove a long way to get there, were greeted, seated, and even handed menus. Then, after all that, they came over and told us it was adults only and offered us a table inside. The place was almost empty, and our baby was just sitting quietly.
What made it worse was the way it was said—like they were trying to hide the baby, as if her presence was a problem they needed to deal with discreetly. It felt really off and uncomfortable.
We felt completely unwelcome and had to leave. Honestly, it was such a disappointing and frustrating experience. If you don’t allow children, just say it clearly before people show up. Wasting people’s time like this is really not okay.
Won’t be returning.

! We had a reservation for dinner this evening, and although there was absolutely no indication — either on your website or in the confirmation email — that the restaurant was adults-only, we were seated and then told 20 minutes later that unfortunately you could not serve us due to this policy.
This is completely unacceptable!
Not only was this rule not communicated at any point in the reservation process, but the way the situation was handled — letting us wait and then asking us to leave — ruined our entire evening. We spent time and effort to get there, only to be turned away based on a rule we were never made aware of.
To make things worse, as we were about to leave, we were casually offered to “sit somewhere inside, ” which frankly felt like an afterthought and did not reflect professionalism or respect.
This experience felt discriminatory and disrespectful. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as it reflects very poorly on your establishment. I will also make sure to share this experience publicly to help others avoid a similar situation.

Poor check in experience… room wasn’t ready (which is totally fine), but wouldn’t bring bags back for us from luggage room. Made us change in luggage room across the hotel with bugs / spiderwebs vs bringing the luggage to change in a proper restroom.
We’ve also had an issue with the air conditioning (see other reviews). Broke randomly in the middle of the night and they don’t have anyone on site to fix it “will need to speak to manager later”
Forgot to book my wife’s spa appointment after discussing live and then they “were fully booked”
Run, don’t walk from this place. I’d rather stay at a motel 6 (which is great)

The views are stunning, the vibe super peaceful, and the service couldn’t have been better, everyone was so kind and welcoming.
Breakfast was full of fresh, high-quality products (very tasty) and dinner at Jacaranda blew us away. The sweet potatoes were amazing, but the meat… hands down the best I’ve had in my life!
It's a perfect escape to be relax and enjoy around nature, beautiful place in Mallorca!

Very nice hotel — perhaps not a true five star experience in comparison to luxury hotels in places like Paris or the French Riviera but a comfortable and attractive hotel. The personnel did all seem quite young and thus lacking in true five star hotel service, but the ones we met were uniformly pleasant and trying to please.
The room was quite attractive and spacious, including a nice bathroom. The look was very monochromatic and serene with a feel of understated country elegance — no heavily wrought wood furniture here. Very comfortable.
The breakfast, while not a buffet, was decent. Dinner was also good, though not what one might call super gourmet — fine solid upscale-looking food.
Do take note that the rooms are separate from the reception building, including some that require a decent (though short) climb up/down stairs or a gravel pathway. A bit of a nuisance for a five star hotel experience, particularly for a guest who is of a more advanced age.

Beautiful hotel and the staff is really kind and accommodating. So nice and clean as well. Love it here. Would love to come back. Literally all the staff was 10/10 in helpfulness and kindness. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the landscape is amazing.

The staff are excellent, and charming. Sadly their product is less so.
A) heating is done via electric radiators in room.
B) light on A/C unit very bright in room and impossible to cover as out of reach.
C) bathroom drips (loo)
D) food quality is average.
E) room quality is more 3 star than 5 star.
I enjoyed my stay but will sadly not return — as I say, only because of the product. The staff were excellent.

Highly recommended super kitchen and to relax just the right thing. The staff is very attentive.
