THB Gran Playa

Very clean hotel and lovely, friendly and welcoming staff. We arrived here at 3.30am on the night of the 24th after having to leave our airbnb due to safety reasons, the lady on the desk was incredibly kind and helpful and reassuring and got us checked in quickly and smoothly. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy.

The staff are exceptional. Friendly, helpful and kind. Clean, bright and comfortable. Near an amazing beach with fabulous views. Lovely pool a couple of cabaret nights. Here is the super Madi who looks after us in the bar. Great place to be.

We were really satisfied with our stay at THB Gran Playa. The service was very good and they give attention to your needs. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and they get cleaned each day. The breakfast was great and they even had other options for us because of the lactose allergy, like a lactose free yoghurt. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Just returned from this hotel after staying 5 nights with friends, can honestly say this was one of the friendliest hotels I’ve stayed in and I travel a lot! Our hotel room was clean and airy the bed extremely comfortable. The pool area is fairly small but clean with plenty of beds. We had bed and breakfast, the choice at breakfast was fantastic, very fresh with a huge choice of food. The location is excellent just a minute or so walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants shops etc. Although Can Picafort isn’t for me and I won’t be returning, I have nothing but good things to say about EVERY member of staff we encountered, from check in staff, bar staff, breakfast area, cleaners were or seemed genuinely happy. We were always greeted and welcomed with smiling faces, nothing was too much trouble and they were also fun. I can’t name everyone but wish I could! I did managed to get Madi’s name who worked in the bar area by the pool (all were amazing) she was a sweetheart. We would all highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to every member of staff you are all wonderful!

We stayed at this hotel at the end of July and were not disappointed at all. Rooms smaller than we expected, but it was no problem for us. The added bonus of the umbrella and beach towel was great. We had half board, dinner was varied and acceptable although we preferred to dine in local restaurants that were recommended to us at reception.
The location is exceptional, right next to the beach and bars where you can go for a drink. On the corner there is a wooden bar which is part of the hotel where you can relax and enjoy the nightlife of Can Picafort and the staff is very friendly.
The staff speaks perfect English (although not all of them). We enjoyed it very much!
Special mention to Ana at the reception for her friendliness, helpfulness and approachability. Thanks to her we were able to discover little gems of the island and for your warm welcome!
And to Marlon at the bar for his dancing during the entertainment days and for preparing the best strawberry daikiri in the area for my wife. Thank you!

Returned to Can Picafort with mum after a gap of 24 years and magical memories. We were shocked by how much the area had changed but this lovely hotel made up for some of that. Being working class and eternally being on a budget it was lovely to stay at a hotel a step up from our usual. The breakfasts were fantastic as were the iced cappuccinos and cocktails. Cleanliness was excellent and overall it just had a lovely chilled feel. The reception staff were friendly but the highlight were the bar staff — Madi and the boys were great — we miss them already. We saw a couple of shows on our short stay and these were great fun too. I liked the pool, my only little gripe was that the pool and the pool area are a little small — it is a shame that the inside bar wasn’t smaller allowing for the pool area to be bigger. The location was also really handy. If you are looking for a good solid clean hotel with friendly staff and a good location then I would definitely recommend.

We booked this as a package weekend getaway from lastminute at half board and it was perfect for that! The room was small but clean, with free fridge and safe. The bathroom was lovely and spacious. The pool area was nice and plenty of seats for everyone with an upstairs sundeck.
Breakfasts were nice but the same every day. You can get prosecco and slushies included here. Dinner wasn’t as good, with all drinks (even water) payable. Good value for money food-wise, but I would’ve struggled to stay any longer.
Amazing location on the Burger King crossroads, 2 mins walk from the beach. Staff were fantastic, giving us use of a shower room before leaving and minding our luggage. I would definitely come back for a short break.

Very nice and helpful reception staff. Comfortable room. 2 min walk from the promenade/beach. Has a nice pool area. With a car, you can reach everywhere within 2 hrs if you want to visit other places. The sea is beautiful turquoise and very clean.

A good hotel in terms of price and quality, but the two-person balcony room is far too small because, for example, a normal-sized adult cannot pass the head of the bed without hitting the bed or the table, and this is a big problem at night in the dark if you go to the toilet without lights. Also, the pool area is too small in relation to the number of people and all the sunbeds are reserved early with towels. Pretty good service, although Germans are served better than others. The breakfast is good and I think the dinner is really good. Still, I won't book the hotel again because of the small size of the room and because Germans are served better. I think all paying customers should be treated equally kindly.

What a fab hotel! Spotlessly clean! Honestly the best hotel I've been to and the first time for me to write a review but I just had to! We had the most amazing night sleep, the air con kept are room nice and cool we had temps of 42 when we went so the air con was a welcomed relief. Great location a 5 minutes walk to the seafront. A Kettle and fridge in the room which was nice. Lovely friendly staff, the bar staff were amazing, they had lots of cocktails included in the all inclusive. The pool area was lovely so peaceful, the pool doesn't open until 10 but you can go and relax on the sun loungers from about 9.30 we never had an issues get a lounger they were always available all day. Entertainment was only 3 night of our week stay but they had music playing on the other night. We sat playing cards and sipping cocktails it was just such a chilled atmosphere. There was a vast selection of food, cooked breakfast, pancakes, fruit, cereals, Yogurts, meats, cheeses, breads honestly the list goes on. There was alway something to everyone taste for lunch and dinner to.
