We stayed her with a group of 10+, lovely staff can not fault them, cleaners, bar staff, dinner service staff and staff on reception always lovely and made an effort to say good morning and good afternoon. Always made a fuss of my little boy! Rooms are cleaned daily too! However the food certainly lacks verity especially for young children. Or those with a daily allergy or vegetarian options. The majority of the time the food was cold and unpleasant. But that is something that can be fixed. Over all a good stay just a shame about the food.

Zach, Jorge, and Martin made our experience fun by providing an excellent service. Always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the pool was perfect. Food was great and always plenty of choice and we found that the hotel was in an ideal location for the beach, shops and restaurants! Amy the receptionist was also very welcoming and efficient. Highly recommend! Sarah, Kat, Jen, Katie and Helen.

Firstly I'd say read the reviews with an open mind!.
We are leaving here today and have had a brilliant stay, all inclusive.
We arrived around 21.45 & Aimee was so friendly on reception, checking us in and giving us all the info we needed.
As we'd missed the evening meal, they'd prepared us a cold salad with meat and cheeses, which we really appreciated.
The bar staff are so hardworking and accommodating, zack and Martin especially.
There was always something tasty to eat at meal times. Lots of sea food, soups & pasta. I'm a vegetarian & never struggled to find something to have.
The restaurant staff are also so helpful and hardworking.
The pool area is clean and we could always get a sun lounger too.
My partner has a disability which meant we needed an accessible room and we got a lovely spacious one, right next to the lifts on the 5th floor.
It's in a fabulous location 5 mins from bars and beach & we enjoyed the flamenco dancers and band that was on.
Loved our stay here & will definitely be back again.

Accommodation and staff left only good impressions. Special thanks to the waiters named Zack and Martin, who perform their work with pleasure, enthusiasm, and positivity, and are always happy to help. Everything is clean and cozy, the room is cleaned regularly, and everything works without any problems. I will be happy to return again.

I am normally quite a positive person but turning up the Illusion Markus hotel and spa made me cry. When we first arrived there was beds upside down in hallways, a mess in the reception dust and hair all over our rooms floor and mold round the bath under the glasses in the bathroom! The shower leaked and it all felt very gloomy. As the week went on it did improve and with some help from me our room was cleaner and aired so less mold. The food was good most days. The staff work so hard but there just isnt enough of them. The bar is very rarely manned as the 1 member of staff is constantly running about tidying. The poor man responsible for all the entertainment with no budget only a speaker and his laptop. There was a tone deaf singer one night, but I had to walk away after 2 songs. Cocktail making consisted of the entertainment man (who only spoke Spanish so it was very difficult) made sangria and just handed it out round the pool. The pool was very clean and although small, not many people from the hotel stayed there in the day as there was nothing else to do, so it was pretty empty. As I say the staff tried but they are just run off their feet.
All in all if it wasn't for the staff and food I would have left the day I arrived.

We did all inclusive at this hotel for 1 week, we arrived around 12 pm and was told check in was 2 pm however, they got us in early. The room is modern, has a small fridge and air con but I wouldn't recommend leaving it on during the night as I got a sore throat and my partner had a chesty cough the next morning. The room was clean on arrival and throughout our stay, our towels were replaced every few days as were the bed sheets.
The food was hit and miss, they offered a different style of cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, the food didn't sit right with my partner and I so we ate out most days. The have a snack bar open from 1-5 pm which is half decent.
The hotel is 5 mins from the beach front and multiple shops. The bus stop to Alcúdia and Palma are also 5 mins from the hotel, just outside of Aldi.
The hotel has a spa which included a heated pool, jacuzzi and a sauna. We used the facilities frequently as no one was ever down there. There are a mixture of tourists in the hotel but they are mostly germans and they can be rude so don't expect manners.
Normal check out is at 12 pm and you can request a late check out at 6 pm but it depends on availability. Unfortunately, we couldn't get late checkout so we used the luggage storage room which is locked throughout the day but other people have access to it. We used the showers to clean up before leaving and it was a nightmare.

Had a relaxing break at this great hotel, Just what we needed, not a noisy hotel, we found respectful staff and guest, cleaners did an amazing job daily, providing towels bedding toiletries, thank you each one and all!
Arrival was met by the lovely Aimee, a lovely lady who provided assistance, laughter and translations when struggling to communicate with other guests, multitasking and multilingual, amazing lady! Each one on reception deserve a mention for their polite and assisting manner. Thank you!
The entertainment is always dependent on participating guests, even though it was never full around the pool area, we all, at some point, took part! A little encouragement was needed which did the trick! Providing a great platform for the guest to have fun getting to know each other and generally have a good laugh and bonding.
Special thanks to Gary (and Christine, the book is said to be great) who shared his winning bottle with us losers, haha! Also mention to the talented Taddy (unless it's darts haha) and his beautiful mother from Czech, wishing all the luck in the world to you both! Thank you to our lovely entertainer, we wish you a fun spent year bringing the joy and memories to people's days. Hope you get the lovely snow when you visit home!
The hotel was catering for many nationals, so plenty of different foods to try out! Always lots of variety, whether breakfast, dinner or tea time. Snacks provided are also had a great selection.

Not long back from yet another great holiday at the Illusion Markus and spa.
From arriving till leaving the staff couldn't have been more friendly and always willing to help with anything.
Rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable.
There was always plenty of food available no matter what serving you went to, so to be honest I don't know why people say there was no choice, as even for the fussiest of eaters you were guaranteed to find something to eat.
The entertainment that was on varied and the team tried to cater for everyone 👍.
We are already looking forward to coming back for another visit.

We with a group of 4 couples.
Hotel its self is small but nice, modern entrance and a nice lounge area.
Rooms are basic you get a TV fridge and ac we were on the 7th floor and had a great view of the sea and pool. Beds are comfortable and the room was clean.
Pool area is small and the pool was cold but we did go in April. No entertainment around pool area if you went in season I would say you will struggle to get a bed unless you’re up very early.
Drinks are good san Miguel on draft and a good range of all inclusive drinks. Only one bar in the hotel but we never waited long for a drink.
Food was good for a 3* good choice at all meal times. Always meat pasta and salad was fresh and did the job.
Overall for the price this was a very good hotel.

A good choice for an All inclusive hotel in the Can Picafort area of Mallorca. The hotel has a great range of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a show cooking area for dinner.
The hotel has a great pool area outside and a super indoor pool too.
If you have a high floor room then there is a great view of the resort as well. The hotel is about an 8 minute walk to the beach, and only a minute away from the bus shop to and from Palma and the airport.
Overall I would be very happy to return to this hotel. (Visited June 2024)

I think everything about this hotel is lovely and super good value. I especially loved the indoor pool (calming spa like feel with sauna and jacuzzi) The room was spacious and clean with the comfiest bed I have ever stayed in! The location was perfect. Five minute walk from the lovely beach, strip of bars, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was really nice too with lots of choice and we always found something tasty to eat at lunchtime. We sometimes ate out of an evening as there were so many restaurants to choose from! We especially liked being able to have a good selection of English channels to watch in room, which in 40 years of traveling abroad haven’t had better! All in all a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and speak good English too. 😊

This is a 3 star hotel and it's exactly what you get.
It's a good standard hotel! Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is alright not great not awful just alright. If you're all inclusive the drinks are good and plenty of variety.
The rooms are outdated but they're only for sleeping and washing so no complaints!
Location is great if you want a beach holiday and to buy your normal trinkets. The area itself is beautiful.
* If having a gym sways you be aware it's a multi gym with some dumbbells and cardio machines * it's not great *
Sauna room is nice!
All in all awesome little place would recommend.

From arrival to departure. Everything was 100%. Staff were very attentive. They work so hard. Food was plentiful, tasty and varied. A very nice clean hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to unwind, relax and enjoy a stressfree stay. We will be back.

From arriving at the hotel to leaving we received a good service from all staff. The room was good size and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The pool area is not very big but never had a problem to get sunbeds. The indoor spa was relaxing.
Cant fault the food or the drink.
Hotel is in perfect location, close to the beach and shops.
Will definitely visit this hotel again.

Just returned from this loverly little hotel, was welcomed at about 1am Monday morning by a very helpful gentleman, was offered food and drink but had been a long day. Room was a nice size for the 2 of us, we had a seaview on the side and a pool view (not our pool but who cares lol) plenty of wardrobe space and drawers, nice size bathroom but had shower over a small bath with a shower curtain, just had to stay clear of it or it got you. Clean towels when asked, room was cleaned every day, they all work really hard to keep hotel clean and tidy. Had something different every meal, they cater for Europeans as well as brits so different dishes but there was always something to eat, had a blue cheese 1 night and it was loverly. Pool area was small and compact but loverly area, plenty of sunbeds, pool table and small stage, music most of the day. All in all we had a great relaxed holiday, hotel not to far from bars and beach, we will definitely visit this hotel again.

We are here now on a week long holiday. Don’t listen to the negative reviews the hotel is a hidden gem. Plenty of sunbeds and pool area is lovely and not crowded. Staff very friendly and is very clean. Food is good and hot if you are not fussy and always something to eat. Would definitely come again and would recommend the superior rooms.

We stayed at the illusion for 10 nights in August 2023 and absolutely loved our stay! We arrived at midnight and I really did wonder if we’d stepped into 1987 …. The reception and interior is dated — by the end of our holiday we barely noticed that though and appreciated much more the wonderful location and the overall demeanour and happiness of the place!
The night porter was great checking us in and offered us food and drinks, which we were too tired to accept but it was welcomed. The rooms are dated, what the half lamps buried in the walls are about I will never know, but it provided hilarity and equally we found our room hugely spacious and with everything we needed. It reminded us of holidays when we were kids and it was spotless throughout. We don’t go on holiday to stay In our room! As other people have said they are short on plug sockets so something to consider for a refurb! The bathrooms aren’t fancy but again they offer all you need. We never watched the tv. The Wi-Fi works brilliantly all through the hotel so all tablets etc worked brill. Our balcony had an incredible view out to the sea and bay which I loved.
Now to the actual service — the greatest asset of this hotel is its staff. They are so kind and friendly — the food is fine, something different each day — I love seafood and fish and there were plenty of these options, my son and husband like plainer food and always found something!
