Visited in January 2016. Posted review to wrong hotel. Corrected here. // Great price and very helpful, friendly, flexible staff who speak decent English and seem to be on the desk 24 hours. Good sized clean apartments, good location and quiet quests — mostly well behaved Germans and Spanish when I was there. Very convenient location near the quiet main airport which has very little air traffic (one plane takes off every few hours). Taxi from airport about 7 euros. Excellent restaurants nearby, coast 1 minute walk, rental car office next door and a hiking tours office across the road. No complaints, highly recommended.

The apartment is very spacious with full kitchen. A little outdated but clean. Our room gave way out to a back street of the hotel, so the view was not nice. Good location, right on the main street with restaurant options at less than 100 meters.

Very nice small apartment hotel with newly renovated, large (approx. 50qm) and fully equipped apartments. Highly recommended are those with sea view.

In our apartment with terrace there were no ants or damps as we read in some reviews. The only downside was the bed: too soft for us and, although it is a usual practice in many establishments, with two single beds together instead of one of marriage. The apartment is very spacious for two people and is very well located to visit the island. Quiet area with shops, bars, pharmacy and a nearby supermarket. You always found parking nearby (we went in October). A very good option to visit the island.

Ideal place for holidays, clean hospitable and the staff is professional and friendly.

A very nice and well maintained facility as well as quiet facility. A very good atmosphere invites you to relax. Very good service and friendly staff whether at the reception or in the outside area. Some of the rooms were newly renovated. Although the airport is nearby, it is not perceived as annoying. The beach is well within walking distance of the hotel as well as the good supermarkets and the good restaurant it so you can relax very well. La Palma is a beautiful island.

In my experience, it's been fine. Without great pretensions, simple and clean.
Good breakfast, and if you choose half board for little difference in price compensates (not a very varied buffet, but enough, although you do not like some dishes, as for my taste are somewhat more spices). Eating on the island is not expensive so you can weigh it if you compensate or not.
The common areas are clean and neat, and the pool is crystal clear. The staff is attentive and operative.
As location very well, halfway between Santa Cruz and the airport, just a step away by car.

The fast transfer time from the airport to La Caleta (about 10 minutes) Unfortunately also has disadvantages. Few machines start to disturb the rest.
The apartments have a separate bedroom, a separate bathroom, a spacious living/dining area with an inserted kitchenette.
There is something for everyone at the breakfast and Abendbuffett.
The price-performance ratio is in December O. K.
We stayed 3 weeks and could recommend La Caleta.
Addendum: There are currently many small ants running around where edible o f f e n stands around — so eat very well or put in the fridge.

A very quiet apartment complex with friendly staff and willing to help in the walks around the island. Spacious apartment, also has breakfast buffet restaurant 7. €50 and dinner €10 well located in the Cancajos, very close to Santa Cruz. Excellent beaches.

Self contained apartment.
Well-kept garden with clean pool. Time of the season Nov/Dec rather older audience. Very quiet, despite airport proximity, as not too much air traffic.
Breakfast adequate. Various rolls, fresh bread, toast (also whole wheat), cold cuts, various cereal ingredients, fruit. Coffee from extract is not special. Various teas, juice from concentrate and also freshly pressed.
Tasty, adequate buffet in the evening. Can also be reposted, even spontaneously for individual evenings. €10 p. P. Excl drinks.
At least 4 dishes, ready-made salad creations, as well as fresh salads to put together. Desserts.
Apartments a little bit frugal. Otherwise, clean.
2-plate ceramic hob, coffee maker, 2 pots, small pan, bowl pp.
TV and others With ARD, ZDF, RTL, SAT1 and ZDFinfo.
Staff very attentive and friendly. 5 stars!
Room Cleaning 3x the week incl. Towel change. Bedding in 12 days but not changed the lighting of the paths and stairs could be better, especially for the older guests.
In the village several restaurants and small supermarkets, as well as gift shops.
VS Restaurant/Bar Tasca Alavasca. Very good food and drinks, where you can also sit longer times.
To the black Lava beach 10 minutes on foot. Showers and toilets (WC for a fee).
Capital nearby, regular scheduled bus service.

Good price… sorry that small details deserve me 4 stars. Little light in the rooms. Very small Tele… However they are spacious and quiet.

The outside area of the hotel was lovingly maintained and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the working concept of the cleaning staff was left to be desired. The breakfast buffet was a challenge. Much of what looked delicious was at the end unpalatable. You didn't have to starve, however, because the selection was quite large and you always found something edible. All in all, the stay was OK as the value for money suited.

Nice place, good service for the money. Clean but with few dishes. The beds are squeaky and the mattresses are cheap and too soft/squishy. Would happily stay there again.

Pros: A nice hotel/apartment complex just outside of Santa Cruz de La Palma. It's conveniently situated on a main road, with easy access to the island's attractions. The grounds and exteriors are well done, with pleasant landscaping and a pool (unheated during our stay). Staff is very friendly and the restaurant has decent options for breakfast and the patio had a great view overlooking the sea nearby. Cons: I wish the rooms matched the charm of the exterior and grounds of the hotel. Our room, although clean, had a musty odor and felt cold, spartan, and unwelcoming; the beds aren't the most comfortable. There's definitely room for improvement on the interiors.
