Fabulous best holiday an hotel staff all lovely an friendly rooms cleaned daily lovely food can’t fault it will be booking again for next year.

This is the 6th time we have stayed here, the staff are brilliant and it is spotlessly clean and the location is to die for.

What a wonderful place to stay! Lovely staff and such a relaxed environment, wish I could come back every month.

A Great holiday at what you would describe as a tradtional hotel. Not ultra modern by any means, but the hotel is very clean and tidy and the hotel staff are incredibly polite and helpful at all times. In fact the rather dated style of the hotel adds to its charm. Perfectly located quietly just off the beach. All in all a fantastic time at Hotel Riomar!

Just what you want from a low budget hotel, clean, great pool, perfect proximity to beach. Food overall is good to reasonable. Coffee at breakfast is rancid, but not undrinkable. So fat bar staff during the day great, however after the shift change evening staff really bad. Just here to collect a pay check, waited 30 mins for a pint before losing patience as the bar area wasnt busy. Overall I would recommend and not hesitate returning for the same price.

Stayed at the Riomar for ten days, hotel was basic but clean, but some of the rooms have been refurbished. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed a bother. Restaurant had a good choice, I would find it hard to believe that some people didn't like anything on the menu. Outdoor pool was brilliant, only a few yards from the pool, you had the beach. Lots of good bars and restaurants. Would definitely go back.

Excellent hotel, food spoilt for choice, rooms cleaned every day clean sheets and towels every day, staff friendly can’t do enough for you, and walk out of hotel right on the beach.

For a 2* hotel it's actually very good. Very clean, very handy for the beach and local restaurants and bars, and staff are friendly. Cleaners never replaced my soap throughout the week which slightly annoyed me.

For a 2* hotel it is fantastic. The location is the best almost right on the beach. Rooms some are dated but some have been modernized. The food can get repetitive and there is a reasonable choice for the money that you pay. Rooms a clean and tidy. Staff are very helpful.

My husband and I just wanted a beach holiday, and that’s what we got hotel is right on the beach, just a little stroll in to Santa Eulalia. Very flat good for people with walking problems and push chairs. Hotel is basic but clean and entertainment on most nights.

Room basic. Had to hire fridge. Dining room can get a bit overcrowded. Staff are excellent. Very helpful, friendly even when very busy. View from balcony superb. If you are coming here, I would advise a room with seaview. It is a 2* so dont expect more. Process of refurbishment. Badly needs new carpets and bedroom furniture. The staff deserve to have investment made in this hotel. They are 5

I would recommend going with a tour operator if you are not a regular visitor to the hotel. Excellent location on the sea front in santa Eulalia. Not all the rooms are sea view so do make sure you specifically request a sea view room even if you have to pay for it, I recommend you get your sea view room sorted during the booking process.

Breakfast is good but not impressed with hotel. Out of high season nothing is on offer to guests. April still wanted 50 Euros to keep room on for a few hrs eventhough the hotel wasn't half full.

Lovely holiday had by us in October. My only down point was the restaurant we were not greeted on first night so didn't know what to do we sat down and was to. D we were at the wrong table! But with no front desk how were we to know. Every night from them the waitress left us until we were almost finished to get our drinks order.

We had a lovely time at the Riomar, the hotel is right on the beach, beautiful views. The hotel staff are very helpful, was great to go to our room's after a day on the beach, bed's made, lovely and clean, smelt lovely. Loved going to the restaurant, lot's of food to choose from, wish I was still there.

Very good location friendly staff needs a bit of an upgrade but great for the price.

Wasn't expecting a great deal from the 2 star rating. Have to say we were pleasantly surprised on lots of levels… Very clean spacious room with a sea view, bed had a deep mattress and looked new, V. Comfortable… rooms were cleaned every day and towels replaced… friendly staff… The restaurant would benefit from a new layout as the buffet is right at the entrance which causes a lot of congestion and hinders people going to there tables. The food itself was plentiful and you are sure to find something that you like! Lots of salads and fruit,. The meat dishes tended to be over cooked and over salted for our taste… breakfast has a chef serving lovely fluffy omelette. You are allocated a table which is yours for the week. The hotel was very quiet as it is about to close for the winter… The swimming pool only has ladders so is not suitable for people with mobility issues. The beach has clean soft sands and is an obvious choice. An enjoyable week and we are planning a return visit.

The hotel is very popular with frequent visitors to santa Eulalia, its sea view rooms are second to none, be mindful that sea views are at an extra charge so always enquire before booking. There are mixed opinions on the food but there is something for everyone to eat. Some of the rooms are a little dated and not all the rooms are air conditioned, ceiling fans are in rooms that have no air con. As the hotel is two star, things you expect from a hotel like fridges etc are at an extra charge. The male receptionist is very customer focused and will try his best to cater for everyone's needs. The location of the hotel is perfect for sun worshippers as it is set on the beach but again the beach sun beds are at an extra charge I strongly advise using a tour operator and implore you to read the brochure carefully to see what is included and what is not just to avoid any surprises or dissapointment.

The Riomar is a very dated holiday with less than 50% of the rooms having been updated. When we booked the hotel for our anniversary we were told that MOST of the rooms have a sea view when in fact less that 50% do. Our room (343) is on the third floor at the rear of the hotel with no air con and smeels musty due to dampness in the bathroom from the leaking toilet which was repaired 4 times. The closest smell to describe the smell is something simarto a badly run care home where cleaning products are used to mask the smell. If we open the sliding door we smell the odours from the kitchen. So we are left with the choice of leave the window closed and be stuck with musty smell or open the window and smell the food smells from below. Avoid room 343 like the plague. Plus if you are at the rear of the hotel, you will hear the bin men at 3am collecting the bins followed ater by the glass collector's. I had arranged for flowers and champagne at an additional cost to be in the room upon arrival which I had paid Thomas Cook directly to arrange. However when we got to the hotel the hotel said they didn't receive any such request from Thomas Cook. I am still waiting for the refund for this. You will get mixed reviews about this hotel because those who are in the refurbished part of the hotel on the sea front will have air con, sea views, new bathroom etc. Whilst those of us are rear of the hotel are like the poor cousins.

We have been to Santa Eulalia 4 times. The other 3 times we stayed at the 5 star Insotel Fenicia but this year the prices have risen astronomically so decided to try the Riomar as the location is fabulous. We read a few dodgy reviews so were a bit worried but we have been pleasantly surprised. As I mentioned the location is fantastic — we have a 3rd floor room with a balcony overlooking the sea. We have no air conditioning but leave the window open and have the sea breeze coming in all night! The staff are very helpful and the food is great. Would definitely come again.

You must stay here, its a beautiful setting for a holiday, make sure you pay to have a sea view room… its a must!

Pleasant staff. Had to hire a fan for the room. Fridge for room is also extra. Nice pool for kids and adults. Kids entertainer "bobby" was enthusiastic and popular with kids.

Just spent a week here… with my daughter. We got back this afternoon and feeling sad because we miss it so much.
It's our second year staying here and once again could not fault it.
Only one wish was, air con in dinning room at breakfast, was a tad to hot to eat in there, but by dinner time it had cooled down.
The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, the food superb and plentiful. Rooms cleaned every day to a high standard.
Kids entertainer was fabulous and the evening entertainment we watched were well worth staying on site for.
Direct access to the beach across the pavement and our balcony looked straight out to sea — just perfect :-)
Choice to pay for a safe in room — very reasonable. Free Wi-Fi in hotel, room and on the beach.
Could not have asked for a better weeks holiday to recharge our batteries :-)

This hotel is not for disabled people with wheel chair s there are no disability for toilet. Food is crap. I will never ever go back there there ever again in my life. Your shower was dust gunton it needs new every thing in that hotel… new beds new bathrooms.

Great hotel, very clean, feels more than a 2* hotel would recommend had a lovely time only problem is there isn't much in entertainment other than that great hotel.

Weather was crap food not good the whole place needs bringing into the 21st century.

I really enjoyed this hotel the only thing that people make it better would be air conditioning, other than that the food was great and the service was great too.

Have no fears this hotel is the best value in the whole of ibiza it may look a little bit old but on all four ocasions that I have visited the riomar has delivered top location top staff top food book it you wont be sorry.
