Fantastic family place, amazing large apartments with huge balconies including two sun beds for relaxing if you can't be bothered to go to the pools or sunbathing areas. We have three next door to each other but with 4 adults 1 teenager a 4, 2, and 1 year old we still have lots of room when we get together on one balcony. Yes there is the odd broken tile and the odd bit of wear and tear, but I put that down to the guests and wheeled luggage being banged in to corners and walls and guests sitting on the furniture in wet clothing or covered in sun cream. That said it still is incredibly well kept and the chamber maids do an exceptional job. The beds are THE most comfortable all of us have slept in and the singles are large so much so we've noted the make and if we can, will purchase them for home. We sadly leave in 3 days and whilst my husband and I would come back in low season on our own, in high season it's definitely a family place with a good mix of nationalities. We have been self catering so can't reference the food, apart from the snacks at lunch, great pizzas, toasties hot dogs etc at reasonable price. Ice creams smoothies and slushies can be a bit expensive when there are lots of you. We tended to take a cool bag down with drinks for the children and the odd biscuit and snack, this never proved to be a problem and we always purchased at least one ice lolly for the children so still contributed to the bar. It's a pity only a few apartments have air con but that said, clever use of the shades and the ceiling fans we have been fine if you need it you can purchase a fan from the hiperdino across the road for €20 and we've been in the 30's imagine late July and august we would have purchased a few. The pool area is lovely and the best thing is no sun bed hogging allowed. If you leave your towels unattended for longer than 1 1/2 to 2 hrs they remove them and leave you a note. Also to make sure the pool is fun for everyone no large inflatables allowed, so no dodging the usual sharks, crocodiles, pizza slices or lilos. Small rings are allowed and if a parent wants to splash with their child and gently throw them a little, no fun sponges will be blowing whistles at you. But be assured the life guards are vigilant and visibly on duty all their shifts. So all in all a great family place at a fantastic price and in a lovely area. We've had a 3 generation ball. Highly recommend Alegro restaurant on the front next to the Chinese. Fantastic food at great prices.
