Length of stay 1 week, with half board for €900 including flight.
PRO: Very nicely made hotel complex.
Large clean rooms.
24h Roomservice. (In addition to the advertised prices, it costs €5 for each time.
Big pool.
Rich breakfast buffet.
Childcare including an evening programme for young and old.
Various sports and leisure offers.
CONTRA: On the day of arrival, I was assigned a double room. From 10am on the 1st morning, craftsmen with a drill and hammer started working in the room above me, including the extem loudly working houskeeping and children's screaming, I felt as if I woke up in a torture chamber at Guantanamo Bay. The whole thing was accompanied by loud music by the pool. Mind it all together from 10am. In response to my complaint, I got a new room. The drill and the hammer could no longer be heard the next morning, but the reception rang me out of bed at 10 o 'clock to find out if I liked my new room. Like every morning from 10am, the bass vibrated from the pool to your ears and the houskeeping couldn't be overheard either, not to mention the shouting at children and all with the windows closed. This should not change for the following 5 days. I live directly on a busy main road and usually sleep with the window open, so I'm certainly not sensitive to noise, who wants to relax on holiday or sleep is in the wrong place here.
Breakfast is only available until 11am and 10am 30. For a 5 * star holiday resort, I expect a late riser breakfast until at least 12 o 'clock. You can also not have breakfast brought to your room or let breakfast be brought. Only with payment of the full price plus room service fee (€5), although you have paid half board. Even if you are willing to take the additional costs (€15 Intercontinental Breakfast + €5 Roomservice fee) in the same way, this is only possible until 11 am. You have to use the lunch card.
Absolutely unacceptable!
The food in general is bad and not worthy of a 5 * star hotel. For this, the prices are rather favorable compared to other 5 * star hotels.
The evening buffet is basically cold. Taste OK, however, the food in a cut-out canteen is also OK with the difference that it is served warm. The choice of food is rich, but not a great variety, which can get boring relatively quickly with longer stays. The only recommended are the appetizers and the freshly prepared grilled dishes on some days. Dinner is available from 6pm — 10pm. However, no new tables will be awarded between 7pm and 8pm. The service staff asked for the room number every evening before the meal and then assigned the table to one, every evening in the later course a waiter came to ask during the dinner how one would like to pay for the drinks later. Serh disruptive.
The rooms and the whole complex are very dark.
One evening at about 11 p. M. A member of staff came to settle the contents of the minibar. Why is this not regulated at the time of departure?
On departure I wanted a late check-out, the hotel was almost empty at that point. Nevertheless, I was denied this denial. I then more or less forced the late check-out.
Verdict: Once and never again!
