Absolutely loved my stay. Yes it is a little off the Camino (900m) but there is a shortcut back that makes it up the next day if you don't want to go back to Lavacola.

Travelling on the Camino de Santiago. One of the last stops. Beds were excellent. Food was amazing, fresh in season and not over processed. Best squash cream soup I've ever had.

I loved my stay at the Albergue Aqua Portomarin.
It all began before I even arrived in town. The night before, Fanny sent me detailed information and a video on how to self check-in upon arrival.

Thomas is a funny helpful young man. Made us forget about the difficult road and face directions. Chitchen is practical.

Beautiful place, Elijah is a terrific host (he told me he mainly only comes on weekends). We enjoyed a Brazilian BBQ family meal there. Has a pool and is in a beautiful old stone building.

Good location and overall a good experience. I stayed during the end of April and it was a bit cold in the rooms and you did have to walk outside to the shared bathrooms, which were relatively small.

The manor house is old and furnished in the “olde worlde” style. Our room on the second floor was on the smaller side, but not cramped.

We stayed at Pazo de Brandeso for two days it is such a unique home for the guests and owners. If you are in Spain near Santiago de Compostela book a stay.
