Mythical hotel in the heart of Ourense. Maybe the facilities a little old, but the rooms huge, clean and well maintained. Super old TVs. The staff at the reception are helpful and agradavle.

Very good value for money, the queen bed large and comfortable, and very well located to visit the historic center.

We have been a large group in that hotel but the truth is that we have not been comfortable at all, it is more at lunch time and dinner the service has been HORROROSO. To begin with, the first day when we arrived at about 13:30 the rooms were not ready and we had to stay a long time waiting and finally we had to leave our bags in the hallways to go to eat at 14:30 as the rooms were not yet ready. Before making the trip we contacted the hotel to say that we were taking a celiac person (gluten intolerance) and we were confirmed regarding the food that there were any problems. We made it known when we arrived at the dining room but from what you can see, they didn't know we were taking a celiac (which we repeatedly warned about before heading to Orense). Finally after putting on the food everything seemed to be going well when suddenly it is suffocating in the dining room because the air conditioning was not working. Televisions in the dining room are outdated and not worthy of a four-star hotel. When they brought the dishes to us they served them with great difference sofing on the plate, some people had much more food than the rest, and to top it off they do not serve all the dishes at once but they bring three dishes every 15 minutes so when they serve the last one on the table, the first one has already finished the dish.

We booked the photos and reviews at 70 euros a night… 70!
And we found a oldest room, very small (nothing to do with the photos that show), with a carpet guarrísima throughout the room and a bathroom that disgusted, the double window did not insulate or close well, the heating did not work, was winter and we spent Very cold.
The bath gave off a very strong smell to sink that stretched across the room, the hair dryer did not work, the toilet had long-soiled areas, the bath screen, the handle and the shower head could not be touched and it was disgusting to shower there (see fo cough).
The TV was small and tube, of which you can not look at how bad they look. We felt very deceived with this hotel. The only thing that has good is the breakfast.
We don't think that's worthy of a 4 star hotel and less at that price, we don't recommend it, we feel cheated. This type of room should be notified at the time of booking or not charge the same as supposedly "refurbished" rooms.
Not recommended under any circumstances.

Orense very expensive compared to other cities of Galicia.
For €60 it seemed pretty average.
The waters of the fridge were open and the TV without DTT only allowed to see Tele5.

Hotel very well located between downtown and the river. Although it has all the amenities of a hotel of this level, it has become a little outdated and not could bad about a renewal. Rooms are not very spacious, but not small. The bathroom well. Breakfast quite complete. Very good treatment of the staff.

Very old Hotel. Attached to the hotel is the coffee bar. At 10:00.30 pm they close the kitchen and you can't even take a sandwich. Attentive waiters.

We spent one night in double room with favorable things and some deficiencies, among the latter emphasize that the television was ancient, the channels did not work, only T5. The HydroMassage bath did not work, nor the musical thread or the conditioning air, which only heated.
By the counter I highlight a very good cleanliness and the buffet breakfast very assortment and varied.

Nice hotel but nothing special.

Perfect location. We stayed in a junior suite and the room was very nice, the problem is that the toilet was extremely uncomfortable, mido 1.82 and it did not come to rest your feet completely on the floor. Regarding the service, somewhat disorganized, the room was very clean but when we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes to finish the room and the next day we went back to 15:30 to sleep awhile and we found personnel doing it when we had left it free to 10:30 and being Sunday I wasn't 100% occupancy hotel.

I deception, the facade, … the interior is outdated, room, walls, pillows dirty, mattress more ancient than the tube tv, breakfast poor and bad quality, in short it more than 3 stars. I was going to be 3 more days and changed hotel. Opinion of a malaga that they will never step foot in that hotel.

Room small but comfortable. Bathroom also small but quite complete. Upon arriving there, we layed on the bed to rest watching TV and suddenly opens the door of the room and we hear a man's voice apologizing. What? do The next day we left (we didn't come back until at least 3 hours after) and at noon had not passed through the room to clean it. We went back out in the afternoon for many hours, and at night the room he still was not cleaned or the beds made. The air conditioner made so much noise, but refresh not by a long shot.! was ready to go to a park bench and go to sleep there, whew that was only 2 nights! Note that the hotel is old but renovated; decoration of the old type; it is two steps from the center. The best was the kindness and friendliness with which we were greeted by the receptionist of the weekend that was in the morning.

The hotel is not bad, but the room smelled of tobacco and all of it is of more than 20 years ago. The lady that took care of the buffet is very unpleasant and I honestly would not come back.
