Very clean albergue, helpful staff and the garden behind the albergue is amazing;-)

I Did Not like that there were only bathrooms and showers on the ground floor and on the third floor and that the plugs were on the door of the room. Not next to the beds… But very good facilities, new and breakfasts from 6 in the morning.

Very new and clean. It has all you need.

The hostel is fine. Restored inside and with new facilities. The location is very good and with all kinds of services in the vicinity. On the other hand highlighting two negative points, the staff was not very friendly (although if it was helpful and helped as far as possible) and the rooms are small for 8 people. Also note that there are only restrooms and showers above all and on the ground floor.

That's great! Wonderful rooms with terrace and also super comfortable mattresses. Large bathrooms and showers too.

Not happy with how beds were allocated. We arrived at 3:30 and were given top bunks. When I queried this, I was told that online bookings take preference. The rooms are much too small for 8 beds and it felt like being in a sardine can. Not enough space on the floor for all the bags and only a few plug points at the door. My daughter and I were in a room with 6 men snoring away — it was not a good experience. I would suggest that they do rooms by gender or reduce the number of beds per room. The facilities are good, but ensure you book ahead.

WRONG reservation. NO apology. Called another albergue but… I recommended this albergue to my friends met the other night. They checked-in, just except for me. Only me. Lol.

Was placed in a room with a screaming toddler. Hostel staff would not let me switch rooms. They lied to me and said there were no free bed (there were available beds). Was unable to freely access my room and my stuff because the parent needed the whole room to accommodate the toddlers nap schedule. Staff allowed this to happen. The staff did not care about the visitors.

Clean, nice inventory, not too many beds in one room. The bathrooms were nice, but the showers changed temperature from ice cold to bruning hot in a sec. Don't be fooled by the breakfast options, you don't get what's in the pictures. The staff were alright, not too friendly. Will not visit again.

Yes, albergue si very nice and clean, BUT
1) when we called Day before they said the price would be 10€/person, but when we arrived they asked for 12€.
2) there is kitchen in the albergue, however the stove is turned on only in the afternoon. It is only written in the albergue, not in the app or on the internet, what we found out about only after we already bought eggs and other food for breakfast. So we are carrying lot of food in our backpacks for no reason.
3) in the morning, shortly before 8am they came to tell us we need to empty the room in 10 minutes. We did 30km the day before and 270km before already, so we just wanted to get a calm morning. This is again something they did not mention before, either on the app or not even after we arrived in the afternoon. On the website it is written that we should empty the rooms at 8:30. We slept in many albergues before and this one made us deffinitely angry the most. Even the one where we were scared about getting bed bugs all night long was nicer. Simply, thanks to people caring. We also wanted to write official complaint or complain personally to staff but there was never anyone around. The reception was always empty.

We loved this Albergue, we got a bed next to a porch. The extremely-cleaned bathrooms were downstairs and still was great. I woke up and felt it was a little stuffy and almost opened the door/window except wasn't sure if the person on top of me, would get cold so I didn't. I quickly felt asleep. I saw a wheel-chair huge bathroom and I took a shower this morning and loved it! They had soap and paper towels in the bathroom which we enjoyed.

Great ambiance… Everything a Pilgrim's heart needs. Very friendly… just great.

Super nice and clean place. The back yard is nice to relax after long camino. Located on the Camino path and close to the iglesia. Be ready to get up early in the morning as the check out is at 8am. Ps. If you can choose a upstairs rooms as the one on the main floor can be noisy. Five stars all the way.

Great placen clean showers, and good Kitchen. Provides coffees, beer and breakfast.

I spent the last year and it was the best hostel of my journey. It is very clean, rooms tiny, and a garden great.

Installation is very new, kitchen with utensils, showers clean. Wide green area of the garden where you can rest. You can leave the bikes in the garden.

I can only describe this place with one word … perfect … super recommended eh state with my son Alexander there 15 days two years ago and in 15 days in a row I had no complaints … I met so many people and I drove there with my child of 2-3 years as in my home… I will without hesitation …

New facilities, clean, bunk beds very comfortable, kitchen utensils and good treatment.

I have been the week after d S. Santa and I keda marveled d so beautiful q is this hostel. Honestly one best road d q I have found. Super nice facilities, comfortable rooms, quiet area, living room with large kitchen Café and outdoor terrace with garden. And very good deal! 100% recommended.

Hostel San Anton is located in the heart of the old town of Melide, this very well-connected, acedes you within a few minutes walk to bars, pharmacies, supermarkets, Medical Center, cashiers and other establishments and shops, the hostel will be opened in April and will undoubtedly be one of the best in the French way.

Beautiful hostel being inaugurate on April 14, is a House with 150 years of history and restored is one of the best hostel in the camino de Santiago.
