Excellent situation, very close to the Puerta del Sol, with very good breakfast, quality rooms and excellent friendly staff. I will repeat each time that you can go to Madrid.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is very central to exploring Madrid, within walking distance of all tourist attractions. The hotel and rooms are very clean.   The reception staff at the hotel are very friendly, courteous and responsive to any request.   Hotel highly recommended.

Delicious menu with the right price. On the terrace the waiters sometimes take a bit, but they are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

One of my best hotels where my family and I were able to stay… A team at the top, very helpful people, super friendly (and in Madrid, I can tell you that a lot of restaurateurs were not frankly friendly so we appreciate even more the staff of the Hostal), smiling and some speak very good French! We felt like at home, the breakfast is very good (with good pastries, which was not the case during our stay in Barcelona for example… and we French, we are picky about the Croissant! ). And what about our quadruple room that gave in the middle of the Plaza? We hear almost nothing… even on Saturday night! and what we hear does not prevent us at all from sleeping…
Super central location… If I come back to Madrid, I would sleep again at the Persal Hostal!

Excellent accommodation in the centre of Madrid. Our stay has been seven nights and the experience has been unbeatable in all respects. All in all I think this is the best place I've stayed. It has everything I value. The location is perfect to be located in a nice pedestrian square. Spacious and comfortable room, impeccable cleanliness, beautiful and comfortable common areas, good breakfast and tranquility. And all this is the result of the fantastic team of professionals working in the Persian. Anyone who appreciates good taste, professionalism and good work over unnecessary luxuries has found the ideal accommodation.

I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel last week with my son … excellent location near to puerta de sol … sol station metro … gran via street Wi-Fi Internet high speed … The room was so clean, but there wasn't any mini bar in the room … The staff was very helpfull and friendly… the accommodation worths the money …

The hotel has excellent location but one of the front desk receptionist "Hector" made our stay in Madrid the worst experience we have ever had in a hotel around the world.
When we reached the hotel we presented our 5 passports, my husband, mine and my 3 kids. They took a copy of adult passports only and prepared the bill and I signed for it. Only 4 beds were in the room and we managed to join the 2 twin beds over 5 nights so my little one can sleep.
On check-out, we were surprised that they changed my signed bill and added additional 100euros charging for my little one without informing us and without providing any extra bed! When we tried to explain it to Hector, the receptionist, he was very rude to us (putting his hand on my face to stop talking) and very impolite! we tried to ask for the manager or for the hotel owner but he was insisting that he is the only decision maker.! We called the police and they were insisting that we are right but they weren't able to convince him!
Is this possible? This is pure robbery! We never hid that we were 5! How come you change a bill that has already been signed? We ended up paying the total additional fee after a 3 hour-long fight to catch up our plane!

I really enjoyed everything about this Hostal as it appears more like a hotel. They were extremely well-organized, helpful, and kind. The staff friendly and the Hostal clean, and stylistically fashionable. The rooms aren't large but the price is perfect for that size. Additionally, it's situated in an excellent part of the city. I strongly recommend it.

I have stayed at this hostal before with work and was pleased. However it seems that the customer service has gone down considerably. The front desk was curt and rude during our whole stay. Also, we had a faulty toilet that was temporarily fixed, meaning we had to ask the hotel to fix it multiple times. When asking for a more long term solution, they kept making excuses. Furthermore, the shower did not drain, which was really the icing on the cake. It's such a shame that it has become so bad in such a short amount of time. Overall, as an ex pat living in Spain, I was embarrassed with the service as it doesn't represent Spanish hospitality.

20/20 mbit Wi-fi free. Very hospitable breakfast area … I mean there is everything you need in a great location at a good price.

Whenever I go to Madrid attempt to stay in the Persal, location superb, no noise in the street, clean, staff very friendly and charming, I love the decor and the sitting area of the breakfast, it seems to me very original. The rooms that have touched me have always been comfortable and the Wi-Fi signal (important because I've always gone by issue of work/studies) is excellent. Always recommend it to my acquaintances.

We've enjoyed a lot our last visit to Madrid. It was our first stay at this cute Hostal. It is managed in a very high professional and friendly style. With the support of their team and the perfect location We have a lovely experience. We will come back in Autumn.

The hotel is tavien I did not like the tried. I was in Christmas. And behaved. Very bad to very cold the the vitación. There was No hot water or heating. We went. To recession. And went on. Of us and another boy foreigner I had. That ascostar dressed. Is what dige in reception. And reia lack. Thank you for all.

Did not appreciate the customer service. We got locked out of our safe and the individual at the front desk refused to help us for at least 5-6 hours. The rooms were not great, only one outlet for two people. The bathroom door lock was difficult to use. The hotel only gave one key to share among 4 roommates. Wi-Fi was also very spotty. Location and breakfast is good.

In my case very improved room and bad treatment. Keep in mind that they will not allow them to access your room to pick up anything or reload the mobile accompanied by anyone, whether your partner or your coworker. Regrettable.

Unforgettable view over the square, always lively. Having double window, if you want not to listen to the sound environment, the room is acoustically completely isolated. You have been hosted for 3 couples and the truth is that the quality/price ratio is very good and the exceptional care. The hostel, is more like a 3 star hotel and the area is great. I recommend it really.
