Great Hotel, spacious room, amazing staff, amazing camareros y chef. Food here is delicious and cooked with love. I will come back but won' t recommand bedrooms on first floor very noisy… something to remember for next time ☘️

Great staff! Very helpful. Fernando and all of his colleagues were helpful in helping us navigate through the city. I like that it has the boutique feel to it and it is quite cozy. The beds were very comfortable and I liked that the windows had shutters. The hotel opera cafe was conveniently located and had a wonderful staff. Plus the food was good! I love Madrid! Great hotel 20m from the artists' entrance of the Teatro Real. The hotel is elegant and the staff can hardly be improved for competence and kindness. Perhaps it would be appropriate to maintain the elevators and add a few extra computers in the common room. Great bar and restaurant. The latter for dinner offers the possibility of an operatic concert certainly not of the highest quality but pleasant. Taxi parking at 20 meters. All in the middle. Appropriate prices for services. I go back often.

Great Location, all the staff were so very kind and helpful, clean tidy rooms very comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet also great choices, reception staff all very attentive. Cafe staff and food very good. If possible do book for the restaurant down stairs. My only critisism there are no Coffee facilities in rooms. Great few days. And Thank you all that assisted. Fantastic hotel in a very vibrant and central location I would highly recommend it. The hot tub makes all the difference in the room though.

The buffet breakfast is totally worth it! I've stayed here twice — I love the location near the palace, so, and Opera. Very quiet rooms.

Honestly, of the best stays I've ever had. The place surprised me pleasantly, first of all, for the tranquility, ideal for those who want to disconnect and rest, while you will undoubtedly enjoy the decoration of the place. It looks like you're beaming to another era. Without a doubt we will be back! :)

I am at the Hotel Opera x the first night is I am disgusted: big beds is uncomfortable, bathroom almost unservible sanitary that they lose water unusable bathtub;
Dirty and unacceptable towels, I had to go to buy towels, on the first floor with a car ride went on which prevents you from sleeping… X 178 per night do not go there…

We booked the room with Jacuzzi to celebrate our anniversary, the truth is that the Jacuzzi on the covered terrace is a pass. The location of the hotel is fantastic and from the terrace you can see the opera and the Royal palace, as well as being able to walk to all the places in the city centre.

A cosy hotel in the centre of Madrid. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet is rich and of good quality. The hall should be a little bigger. The staff is very accommodating. At this point again a heartfelt thanks for the nice conditions.

Good care but you pay the price. The restaurant menu is exquisite.

Good value in a very convenient location. Breakfast is good and will prepare you for a lot of walking around Madrid. Rooms could use some maintenance.

I stayed here for a 2 day pilgrimage with the pope and I had a great time thanking the staff and their welcome but above all the comfort of the rooms and the beauty of modern contemporary style within the property. Felicitaciones.

Food Not bad but the male waiter is not German friendly and prefers the other guests. So the others get the food rather and ours got cold. We were also told what to eat-my wife wanted something different but she didn't get it. The crowning was that the waiter did not want to bring the change again and only after longer wait then still came. Then cheeky even tipped off what he should not get.

We took this room for an anniversary night and it went very well. The room has a spectacular terrace with a covered jacuzzi. It also has access to the bathroom which has very good size.
With the room we were given a bottle of cava courtesy of the hotel, a detallazo.
The Jacuzzi what you see, for two people very well and with many jets. I advise buy something for the same, effervescent pill type, colored balls and foam, etc.
Then the bed is King size and very comfortable. Big TV with Netflix service that you can use your account.
In short, a super comfortable room, which although a little veneer was worth it.
We also entered a buffet breakfast, a little small but with good quality.
As soon as we can repeat.

Stayed here a couple days ago. We had confirmed with staff prior to booking that a spare bed could be provided for a fee. When we arrived, we were quickly and rudely told there was no extra cots or beds available. We then immediately asked for extra bedding and were told to ask tomorrow because it was night. What? So we asked again… and again. And finally when we just happened to be in the room while cleaning staff came by we asked the nice lady and she provided. Construction next to my room made it impossible to take a nap or rest during the day and we were not warned of this whatsoever. The only plus to this hotel is the location, otherwise literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Opera, next to Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Callao, are the historical heart of the city and are kept century after century as meeting places, appointment or giving news. The opera square is actually called Plaza de Isabel II, the Casquivana and useless queen, like all the Bourbons, grandmother of the present King Felipe VI, to which the people cast off the throne with the revolution of 1868.

Great location in the Opera district, just outside of the Theater. Well appointed rooms and bathrooms. The service was pretty good overall. The attached cafe was very good as well. A great place for a quiet and comfortable stay. Only downside was the climate control wasn't working and despite having them try to fix it twice it remained broken.

The hotel was in a great location with a modern look at attached to a cafe. The room is a good size with king (2 twin) size bed comfortable mattress and pillows, also a closet and desk. Bathroom has a large shower and luxury bathroom with amenities, but door does not match or lock intentional with the design. Air conditioning did not work despite asking 3 times to get it fixed and turned on, but there was good enough air circulation with the window open on a quiet street to keep the room comfortable.

Good central location. Couldn't get in our room because the key/door didn't work. Took about 5 hours to fix it. Most of the staff didn't speak English. Breakfast is good, so are the rooms.

Hotel average. We find a staff welcoming clean and correct rooms but impossible to sleep properly. The hotel is very poorly soundproof. We hear everything: the slamming doors, the neighbor's shower, all the conversations on the landing. Awakening guaranteed in the middle of the night for those who have light sleep like me.
The bedding is not of good quality.
Last positive point: the location that is ideal.

Charming Hotel, recently refurbished, the rooms are therefore new, the suite has Jacuzzi on the terrace overlooking the stars and the Opera Theatre watching a part of the Royal palace. Perfect for visiting Madrid. Very good service to the customer and the kitchen very good care the details, it is all of a pacifier.

Very central, 5 minutes of sunshine and a step from the royal palace. The staff is helpful, the rooms are clean and friendly. An ideal place to stay in Madrid.

The rooms well and in terms of breakfast is not a large buffet but with good food. For Celiacs rather poor the service they offer.

We have spent the night in one of the eighth floor rooms with terrace and we loved it. We just got the one that had better views and corner terrace. The bed is comfortable, the whirlpool is a pass, the TV is great and, if it does good, you will enjoy a lot of the terrace and the views. They also give cava and tea or coffee as a detail. To improve… The breakfast, which is nice, but has nothing super special, and the staff, who cater well but in a very automated way, without a close deal.

4-Star Hotel?
Well I have to say that the only good thing about this hotel has been the location, but wow we had a terrible night there, we heard completely the noise from the outside as if you were outside, and being so centrally located. The noise was for the whole night, and not only that, but we also got the worst room as it was in front of an "authorized staff" door, where we were able to notice exactly from what time the kitchen staff and/or housekeeping start working, as they listened to dishes, azotones, and the staff without the slightest care of the noise they could provoke, no matter who have guests who are resting, the noise was unbearable and from very early. And attentive to the reviews because I'm not the only one complaining about the noise at night. It is also worth mentioning that the hotel facilities are far from a 4 star hotel. I would definitely not recommend this site.

Awesome location! Walking distance from so many of Madrids attractions, plaza mayor and San Miguel Market. Helpful staff and nice rooms!

Upon arrival (30mins after recommended arrival time) the gentleman who checked us in told us there was no room available at the time, and was quite dismissive about it. Didn't seem interested in our concerns. We got a room and there was a problem with the shower head, reported to reception and wasn't fixed for 24hrs. I saw another review regarding the lift, it's better to take the stairs! I expected more from a 4 star hotel in central Madrid, unlikely to recommend or stay again. Other hotels in Madrid to stay in and I wish I had chose somewhere else. We did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on the food here. A lot of choice regarding restaurants and cafes in Madrid for better prices.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant can go from almost insufficient to good, much will depend on the dish you order! I personally did not find a rule that would allow me to understand how to predict the quality of the dishes in the menu… Good luck!

Location is prime as it is right in downtown, beside the Metro, has tons of shops around and all the main attractions within walking distance. Hotel is upscale, Wi-Fi its speedy and the concierge are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Great location and a good breakfast. Poorly insulated rooms make the place noisy however. The airconditioning was great to keep us cool. Beds were very comfortable as were the rooms.

It is a very cozy hotel, all super well I can not say anything, the food, the excellent service, the room, the nice waiters, is to return. I can't put a 10 because perfection doesn't exist but a 9.5 if thank you for everything we are from Tarragona.

Great hotel! Location is in the corner of a quiet street but in the heart of the city. The Royal Palace is down the street, along with many stores, cafes/restaurants, & Opera metro a few seconds walk away! McDonald's and Burger King down the street too. Took the metro from airport to hotel round trip, about a 20 min commute but very easy and safe. We walked to majority of Madrid's attractions. In about a quick 10 min walk, you'll be in Puerto del sol & Gran Via! The hotel had our room available at noon; friendly and helpful staff. Candy and water in lobby. Room was spacious for two adults and one child. We had a twin room which consisted of two twin beds pushed together, making it bigger than a king size. There was a mini bar in room, flat screen tv, amenities (toothbrushes/toothpaste, comb, tissues, shampoo, shower gel, and razor! ). Fast Wi-Fi. Nice modern shower, two shower heads including a rain shower. Iron and ironing board available upon request. Walls seemed thin as we heard neighbors at times but not bothersome. Air conditioning was superb — each room is equipped with its own thermostat and we kept our room at around 65 deg daily; felt nice to come to a cold room after a hot day! Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed. This hotel is perfect in every way and can't get a better deal. Didn't eat breakfast at hotel as there were plenty of options nearby!

Clean hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are a little small but very nicely decorated and looks modern. The bathroom is a bit too modern though, in that it isn't convenient. The sink is a funny shape and toilet is stuffed in the corner with very little room. Not great if your a big guy like me. But all in all, very nice. Also in a very nice location, only 5 minutes walk to the palace, several restaurant's and shops. Plus there is a metro station 1 minute walk over the road that will take you anywhere.

Not worth the money. They advertise air conditioning but it doesn't work. We complained several times about our room and they didn't do anything. The hotel bar was never open in our stay. The breakfast is mediocre — never seen such watery eggs. If you're going to spend over 200 euro a night, might as well stay at a 5 star place. This place isn't worth the money at all.

Central, clean. Three nights spent in peace. We didn't spend much. Recommended.

Just spent a wonderful 7 nights at this hotel. Staff were very helpful and the room was very comfortable. The location is perfect and the breakfast was good, a small choice on the buffet but it was adequate for the size of the hotel. I was very impressed with the picnic they supplied when I checked out early for an early flight home. Thanks for wonderful service from all your staff!

Hotel in the Center in front of the Royal theatre. Large rooms and even more the bathroom with bathtub and shower (separate).

The suites not are at the height of the 4 star. Many details that give an idea of time carrying decorated rooms and little concern to maintain the level. Specifically the 805, one of the suites has a bed encased in a tiny space. Practically non-existent air conditioning despite maintaining the closed room; the room of bath with a mirror worn. He added to the room of Bath where this the hydromassage, with the windows dirty. The terrace, without plants that provide privacy facing them homes adjoining, slats of the floor worn and some raised e even a tailpiece between these. It best the bathtub of hydromassage, but this also with side clad in plastic is sees that of several repairs. In short, rather disappointing. Not is set for nothing to to them 4 stars and the price is exorbitant for the quality of the accommodation. As much as it would be a 3-star suite and, of course, after knowing him would have unpaid more than 150 maximum € and not the €225 cost us.

One of the worst hotels I've seen in all my life. Too simple for a 4 stars hotel. And it is dirty! The restaurant, by the way, is a total shame.

Rooms are nice, though I probably wouldn't call it 4 stars by US standards. Service was excellent, and the location is fantastic — right in the middle of all the great parts of Madrid.

But they gave us a room whose window was just at the level of the sidewalk on a side and was very, very, very poorly soundproofed… impossible sleep by the noise of cars or simply people passing chatting by the side!

Metro station that communicates with historic and more typical of Madrid with the Royal theatre just exit and the Royal Palace and Plaza de Oriente to three minutes. There for the 5 line and the branch which communicates directly with the Príncipe Pío station and its vicinity.

Downtown meeting place in Madrid, nice and good environment for all kinds of activities.

Station communicated with the Centre of Madrid, very advisable for the knowledge of tourists who want to visit the Center.

Nice place to start a good Madrid sigthsee. At its behind you'll find the Palacio Real and a good sigthsee of Casa de Campo.

With a curious project graphic Museum inside. Certainly it is worth knowing this season.

Very good relation quality / price. The service is unbeatable.

Hotel is very well situated. Walking distance to metro and shopping area. Rooms are relatively small. On arrival we had two single beds in a double room and this was fixed by putting a 'special' sheet on top of both beds. No kettle and complimentary tea and coffee in the room. The whole hotel is very clustered.

It hurts a little terrace.
The roof or roof is dedicated to a series of rooms that have a good view of the area of theatre and Royal Palace.
They have a menu of cocktails that include the Prince of Wales a combined based on champagne and brandy which in my opinion is frankly well, if in addition to that accompanied it with a few toasts cold or hot is the tente empie ideal for a stroll through the Centre of the capital.

Hotel is clean and in the great location. We stayed on the 8th floor, in the corner room with a jacuzzi. The view was great, but the adjecent hotel room had an exhaust pipe that at certain times produced very unpleasant smell. We have also found that we could not get the air conditioner to work and later found out that it was controlled by the reception desk on the first floor. There was no notification/sign notifying of how to get it to work. After repetetive calls, the room took more then 2 hours to cool down. The air conditioner was not in a proper working order.

Nice luxury. Nice staff and good renovations. Will return. Best area in madrid.
