Great location at a very fair price. About a 15 minute walk to the Museo del Prado. There are a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. It's also only a 2 minute walk to the Puerta del Sol metro/train station.

Great central place to stay. Right next to plaza del sol. Shopping and sight seeing is all walking distance…

This hotel couldn't be more centrally located. It is a 15 minute walk from the Prado, close to shopping and restaurants, and a block from metro and commuter train stops. On top of that, the room was quiet, bright, cool, and clean. We would happily stay here again!

I would give it no stars if possible. I went on a class trip to this hotel. Never will I ever go there again. The hotel staff was very rude and not respectful. The hotel “security” was complete bogus and treated me like I was 5. I couldnt walk in the hall ways without them asking me where I was going. Our class was never loud and was always repecting our neighbors. I could go on about this horrible horrible hotel.

Great location, breakfast wasn't all that and the staff were mostly quiet and didn't speak to us or provide any information. It was only at check out that one member of staff was really helpful! Otherwise our room was nice and clean.

Great hotel located not far from the tram station. The air-con wasn't of much use. The room was spacious, clean and cozy. There is free parking right outside. We had Dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and both was fabulous.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The rooms are not very big but still clean and soundproof from the nightlife and this is not bad staff I found it kind and available to all requests on how to move around the city when you go out you're already in the middle of Madrid Movida and two pass I there is the Metro pit from where you reach everything in the complex recommended.

Stayed here for a few nights after hiking the Camino before flying home. Great location! Beautiful plazas, streets, incredible restaurants. Would stay here again!

Hotel in the pedestrian zone very centrally located. Breakfast very nice and the rooms are large enough. From the small balcony, man has a view of the pedestrian zone.

Excellent hotel, location unmatched as it is located above the Puerta del Sol. Its rooms are very spacious and comfortable. They also have balconies that are the jewel of the Estancia. Highly recommended.

Very small rooms. Some look to the front, others to the back street, and others to internal courtyards. Some have large balconies. The furniture is correct. They do not have a minibar (serious fault). The location is unbeatable and the reception staff could be better. The breakfast is buffet with great variety but the products are of poor quality mostly.

Very well located. Breakfast not included. Very thin walls. You can hear everything in the room next door. The two-bed room is comfortable. The very narrow queen bed. You can barely pass the other side of the bed.

I stayed here with two other people in one room. The rooms were very well decorated, modern and clean. The atmosphere was very nice as well. Especially the bathroom is quite big with a nice shower. Every morning it was amazing to eat breakfast at this place. The room was very cosy and with a lots of choice. Since I am a celiac I got special things. However, the bacon and eggs were naturally glutenfree. The staff was very nice. The hotel is very central so you can walk to all the popular places in just a few minutes.

Wifi's there, but it's pretty spotty. Elevators are tiny. Also, there's no ice machine or fridge.

It is at the heart of Madrid. Living there made my life in Madrid so delightful! It is at the most lovely and lively place, but the room is very quiet.

Location 2nd to none, modern rooms, and a great view from the room makes for a great stay. One thing to be aware of is the small elevators. Usually not an issue, but I got there with a group of 40 people, so I climbed to the sixth floor carrying my suitcase.

This is a modest, very clean, well-rounded hotel in an excellent location. The staff are wonderful, responsive and very helpful. They also handle English well, which is a huge help given our horrible Spanish. You really can't get more central than this. It's a few steps to Puerta Del Sol, a five minute walk to Plaza Mayor, 10 minutes to the Opera House and 15 to the Royal Palace. Every type of public transport you need is practically outside your door. Train service, subway, taxis, buses (including the major tourist buses), and bicycle rentals. If your expectations are reasonable and you are looking for a great home base to explore downtown Madrid, this is an excellent choice. We are on our third of four nights here and really have come to think of this as home base here in Madrid.

Centrally located in Puerta del Sol, shops, streets and other street.
Rooms very comfortable and new (TV, beds and decoration).
About the toilets, shower had cal, except that in general clean.
The buffet breakfast had good food, the only downside is that the room was very small.
Discount on the parking Plaza Mayor with the hotel bill.
In conclusion, we were happy with the stay.

Listening to the Metro, the views from any room is not the puerta del sol top a huge poster of the hotel, in-room visits are not allowed, only thing that is good is that it is centrally located. He tried not very well.

A hotel with a friendly staff of 10. The location of the hotel is perfect, and in addition if you book a room with terrace, you can take the grapes while you see the chimes at the plaza del sol clock.

The Hotel is very well. Location is really cool. In the Puerta del Sol. A site that I love, from be ride and be watching centado. It is a very lively area. The security of this very well. And for shopping. There you can find everything.

A place I'm used to go to when I'm travelling for my work. Location is perfect, rooms are comfortable and nice to be in. Breakfast is nice but not the best I had in Madrid hotels.
