Excellent hotel. Very good location and very nice room. View isn't a thing though.

Hotel is located a few meters from Puerta de Sol and its excellent choice to visit Madrid’ s central places on foot. Breakfast was quite good and service from hotel staff was very good. We were given “blind room” with almost no view and that was a negative experience. However the room was clean.

One of the best hotels where I have stayed. All the staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is modern and decorated with very good taste, varied breakfast, with top quality products. It is in a strategic point to get to know Madrid on foot. I can only name one weak point and is that the room we were given does not have a view of the city, however no rest charm and quality to our stay which was perfect!

The days of April I'm passing in room 308, the room temperature does not drop from 24.5 ° C, the maintenance Lord tells me that until the 15th of May, there is no cold air in the hotel. Solution that gives me: open window to refresh. I have never seen this and a 4 star hotel which just doesn't give me the stay. I come to Madrid often, I'll find another hotel. Located in the centre of Madrid but far away from the noise. You can have the very good breakfast from 7am to 11am. Good choice!

Four-star Hotel in the centre of Madrid. The first day we were given a room inside, the heating was broken, just could not stop… We complained and the next day they gave us a suite with a terrace. They were able and knew how to correct his error. Because the first room was unworthy, without ventilation, when abrias the window to the inner courtyard smells of food, noises and a feeling of claustrophobia very overwhelming. But the staff was very friendly. A detail that left me pensive… there was No towels bidet.? With what one is supposed to dry if you use it?

Hotel is very well located in the centre of Madrid. Very good bathroom, excellent breakfast but the room that face the street should be soundproof.

One person left me a package there, I called to fetch it and they said that there was no package in my name, after that person did not appear as registered, then they told me they had to review, since then have spent two weeks without response and when I call to ask they answer me in a stupid way saying that that they are looking at it. The person staying also tube problems with a package that they brought.

Hotel very central and well located, although a bit complicated to wait with a car, because the street is very narrow and there is little room to park. The reception and ground floor are very modern, it shows that there has been an important restoration and modernization of the hotel. Although then elevators and especially the bathrooms in the rooms, have been somewhat outdated. The rooms, unless you have a double bed, are not too big, but they are enough. It has free Wi-Fi.

Fantastic location, just meters away from the main area with lots of shops, bars and great restaurants. Room was comfortable, clean and well laid out. Good Wi-Fi and bathroom. Will definitely be back!

We stayed one night and arrived unexpectedly. Great deal, we were advised well between the rooms available which was very comfortable and confortable. In the heart of the city, great for visiting Madrid as it is two minutes from Puerta del Sol. It has No smoking rooms.

Not a huge hotel but nice, big and well appointed rooms. Perfect location at 100 meters from Puerta del Sol. Only problem is the noise of the street, at night with the disco under open you hear loud the voice of people.

Overall it's a decent hotel. Pros: comfortable rooms, good amenities, great breakfast, very friendly, professional and attentive staff. Cons: Loud. Unacceptably loud, with limited sound insulation, lobby sounds going all the way up the floors, heating system is loud, lifts make sounds… All of which you can't avoid. Also, the gym is tiny and feels like it's there to tick a box.

We had to change rooms because there was no desk, which I needed and on the web it says that all the bedrooms have one. They put us in a room with the translucent glass that overlooked the courtyard where all the engines were, so we couldn't open the window because the noise was deafening and of course with no light at all. The days we've been there have accompanied us two pieces of stains of something stuck on the floor. A double room and they only put amenities for one person. The elevator looks like a shaker of what trembles, gives even fear to use it. The breakfast has been done for the rest. To begin with is not much less what you see on the web. The ham were raw pork fillets with lots of salt, the salami was type salami, artificial pink, the potato tortilla dry as the pajamas, there are neither cutlery nor jams available to the client, are those that you have on the table, no yogurts are unfrozen and the milk is cold And of course, there was no microwave to heat it either. The worst of it is the dirt: the trays where they put the jams were full of things stuck and crumbs, we spent the two days at different tables, the juice jugs super dirty, just like the Bain marie of scrambled eggs, I had to look in the tray of the Some glasses that were not dirty, the table spoon with traces of coffee and to finish the conditioned air put at nine o'clock in the morning on November 24th, which gave me continually in the neck. Super friendly bartenders just like the receptionist.

The location is unbeatable, one minute from the sun, which means you are surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. The hotel is completely refurbished and you could almost say it is new. The room is very spacious and well lit: natural light (thanks to a small balcony) and a good combination of lights made up of lamps and spotlights. However something that should improve is the light insulation at night as it passes quite a bit of the street. It has good air conditioning, but also has a Nordic family size if necessary. The beds are comfortable and have a pair of pillows. The bathroom is very large and complete (with bidet) and has two types of shower: a conventional and a larger fixed. Maybe the amenities are a little scarce (for two people). The staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. In reception they have drinks and apples for consumption of customers (although the first I did not see it in the two days I stayed). Overall the stay was very nice. Although the street of the hotel is quiet, it must be noted that next to the hotel there is a pub that opens until the wee hours of the morning (at least on weekends) and if the room overlooks the street it will be difficult to sleep.

Excellent location. Poor installations. Poor décor. Tired service. A lot of items in the room were damaged and shabby. Items of food, plates, ironing boards were left for 3 days in the corridor. The room was not sound proof — every other door which shut caused every wall in the room to shake. It said 4* but I would rate it as an average 3* in need of help.

Good hotel but the rooms at the bottom (taped to the street) have a lot of noise on weekends until late.

Surprisingly modern, pleasingly designed hotel, smack-bang in the middle of the town centre. Staff are friendly and courteous. Would recommend.

The hotel is great but the location right in the centre will not exempt you from the noise of the night and the smell of urine of people when you go out on the Sunday morning is a horror.

Hotel was great, room was compact but had everything we needed. Lovely big bathroom. It was immaculately clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great central location, so outside was very noisy so couldn't sleep with the window to the balcony open so a little warm but with the windows shut you couldn't hear a thing. Would definitely visit again.

4 star Hotel of first category. The rooms are spectacular, as they appear on the web. I suggest the fourth floor, are very spacious and bright, with terraces which are very nice. It is very well located, a few meters from the plaza del Sol. The staff very kind and friendly.

I love this hotel. Off the beaten path in the center of Madrid but once found it is a true gem. Secure access for entry and the rooms are so beautifully appointed. I even took some pics of the lobby furniture because I liked it so much. I had a junior suite with balcony terrace and absolutely loved it. I strongly urge anyone looking for a great place to stay look at this property.

Great location, walking distance to Puerta del Sol but in a quiet street without excessive traffic and noise. Friendly staff, clean rooms of various sizes, ours was spacious and our friends a little less but totally livable. The hotel was under renovation, the floor below to our almost finished, had fully reviewed with more modern décor. International buffet breakfast, well stocked. Internet point with the option (surcharge) to take advantage of a printer and Wi-Fi access in all rooms. We would certainly recommend.

Spacious rooms, big beds, pleasant staff and a copious breakfast in a very central location to not compensate for the street noise generated by the disco next door. The building itself is creaky — at least the plumbing is — and room cleaning spotty (a black briefcase placed on a high shelf in the wardrobe picked up a lot of dust). Water pressure was very low and the Wi-Fi so weak that I had trouble streaming radio on an iPad. The rate I found was excellent and every contact with staff made me want to recommend the Maria Elena Palace. That said, hotels are places to sleep; and I hardly slept.

Not bad to spend a night. No frills.

A charming hotel in a central and busy little street.
Account with lots of information including a useful touch screen that gives you lots of information of the city, you can make reservations and in different languages. A hotel that I appreciate much if out tourists and came to Madrid.

Not recommended for people minusvalidas, the chairs of rueds do not fall in the bathrooms, the insonorizacion nor the good is listening to the people on the street as if they were inside the room, the air conditioners work alone in any room and after putting a complaint does not have the delicacy of responding to the client. Bad experience.

Extremely good location. The hotel is five minutes away from Puerta Del Sol which is a prime location of the city. Absolutely enjoyed my time at the hotel. Well serviced rooms and a wide range of varieties are offered for breakfast.

One of the highest hotels in Madrid at the end of la Castellana is one more than acceptable option for an incredible evening. With rooms designed for entertainment and relaxation (spa bath in the bathroom) and with incredible Madrid both from the rooms and from your spa views. From my experience, it is a place to go, enjoy and repeat.

This hotel is lovely, and the customer service iguaal, the only problem, it's too hot. But however you like :).

Francisco: I was staying one night and not ever again to this hotel. I had to change on the same evening three times room due to excessive heat (in October). In the second room did not work the phone. In the third did not work for television, when they finally met it, there was no control, when they finally bring a remote control, it comes without the battery cover whereupon it or are leaving or you had compulsory to make contact with them.
Bad experience in general. Especially for the person who was at the reception.

Very good traditional spanish food and people here are very nice.
