The hotel we did not choose, it was included in the cost of a bus tour from Madrid. They were supposed to live in 3 stars, but settled in 4. We all liked it, the breakfasts are good, there are no complaints about cleaning. It's about 15-20 minutes to get to the subway. Very few sockets in the room, though bring a tee and elevators small, even had to carry luggage on the stairs to catch the bus.

The front desk staff does not represent what good customer service should be. Also there was money missing from two of our rooms, when it was reported to the Manager, his suggestion was to go to the police station to report it. No remorse was shown. I would not recommend it.

The hotel seems big around 13 floors, with supermarket just across the road and tobacco shop etc near by. The double room has a little balcony but unfortunately the door lock does not work, the staff fixed it by permanently locked it although the lock is still loose and can easily open by force. Not enough power outlets in room, there are none on the bed side of the wall, only 2 on the opposite wall below the desk. No spare pillows or blanket in room, but I did not try to ask reception so they might have if you ask. Room size is big. Toilet has hair dryer attached to wall. A few clothes hangers available in wardrobe. No kettle. A mini bar fridge. Small safe also in room but will need deposit and also charges £2 per day. Access is not too bad, bus stop on the same road and can walk around 10min to metro station.

A review of the hotel's restaurant. Several times went to a complex lunch. The cost is about 13 euros. There's quite a lot of choice. The dishes are simple, but cooked not bad. Good service, attentive waiters. I don't think I'd go to dinner. And for lunch is not a bad option.

Not 4 star, but not bad for a 2 night stay. Concierge is VERY rude but, it's Spain so it is what it is. The kitchen, luggage and transportation staff are very friendly and much kinder. Rooms were small but very clean and equipped with all that you'll need.

Stayed here as all other reasonably priced hotels in Madrid were booked the night we were there. Location is not bad, but not right downtown. 15 mins from train station by taxi, 35 mins to airport. Rooms were fine, clean, etc. Check in was easy, cabs were waiting outside, there's a 24/7 coffeeshop across the street, so it did the trick for us.

Ma first stay in spain wa in this hotel… Generally the hotels in Europe doesn't have hospitality.

To the naked eye a normal hotel. However they do not strive very much in room cleaning. You will hear the existence of guests in other rooms. Breakfast is fine. However it is a chaos because of the amount of existing diners.

No 4 star value, elevators very small and slow. No wardrobe hooks in the room, toilet in bathroom without window and ventilation. The breakfast was very good.

Spacious Hotel. Well located. Many years serving their clients management. Reasonable price.

Very good hotel, nice facilities, rooms with many details, only need to put plates in the rooms for clothes ajada that one walks. Highly recommended to stay.

Big Hotel. Good rooms, friendly staff. Metro and nearby bus.

They don't deserve the stars they have. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was very clean. Cleanliness and order very correct. Very attentive staff.

The rooms were clean & there's a great view of the city landscape from the higher level rooms, but that's the only good thing I can say about it. Whilst we were there, the lifts has failed and the breakfast room was just adequate. On our arrival, the lobby was packed to the rafters with people checking in or out (or just waiting or loitering, which indicates poor management of processes), and the place looked tired & in need of modernisation. Some of the staff also seemed to not want to be there, judging by their attitude. As I've since realised there are better places to stay in Madrid. So choose wisely.

The thing that I liked most was the bed on which I slept very well. For the rest it was all in the norm for a starry paintings hotel.

I liked it quite, it was quiet and you didn't hear the street noise, the bed and the pillows were quite comfortable. Generally quite clean, the bathroom only had a ventilation slot towards the patio because the window looked like two walls but gave the workaround as there is no extractor, the television is castrated so that nothing is connected. The worst thing is the elevators that need a renovation already, I was going to the eighth floor and didn't like anything having to ride on them.

Comfortable room, large TV, toilets a bit outdated but good. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. Very expensive parking €18 for one night.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There's dust in the cupboards. I found a long hair in my bed even though the sheets were clean. They had not emptied the garbage in the bathroom of the previous client. A larguisimo hair around the trash, lives there. The carpet doesn't suck much. Disgusting and I'm not going back!

Tourist category Hotel with comfortable rooms, lack of maintenance to the air conditioning system and improve the cleanliness. Breakfast very good, variety in the buffet and excellent quality in the preparation. Good location, with bus whereabouts leaving the hotel and metro station at 800 meters.

The room is not the best, from the bathroom you feel the drain, the shower and even worse: what they do in the rooms near… but the city compensates with its beauties the rudeness of the hotel staff… If you can choose another… or do not settle the bill immediately. … maybe they will treat you better. It should be a four-star… maybe it gets to 2.5… The worst hotel I've ever been to…

The hotel is in a good location by using public transport. The rooms have a good amount of space and a nice bathtub. Would stay here again.

Located in a residential area with the metro close by. The building is not new but has been renewed and the rooms are big. The employees are really nice.

It is a four star a bit old but well preserved, the bed comfortable, the service correct and the location despite not being in the middle, you get easily with a very close metro station, about five minutes walk and the bus line in the same PU Hotel Erta.

The comfortable bed. There's nothing missing in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The baggage storage has it well managed. Regarding the location, the hotel is located near the Metro to 5 stops from the centre. I recommend it.

The staffs were kind of too ‘cool’. I didn’t feel the warmth nor the smiles. Only one receptionist who really smiled. Was it because of winter? Anyway, the bed room is spacious. The bathroom is also spacious. Both are very clean. Breakfast was just okay. Free Wi-Fi but was sometimes speedy and sometimes very very slow. Location wise, it’s great. Around the hotel, there’re convenient stores, restaurants, coffee shops including the round clock one across the street. It’s 5 minute walk to a huge shopping mall, Plaza Rio 2. And, It is only 4 km from city center.

Great hotel with full and spacious double rooms, has option to Pàrquing and is located near Madrid River and only a few minutes from the purest center of Madrid.

The place is fine, but its service was on the floor to treat the guests in an indifferent way not to speak the same language or be foreign leaves much to be desired. They could improve attention as everyone deserves respect and no one is superior to anyone, stop being so racist.

The whole line of hotels AC is highly recommended. We visited several throughout Spain and we always had an exemplary attention. The rooms are comfortable and pleasant. Friendliness on the part of the staff and always willing to offer help to the traveler. The food in the breakfasts is very good.

It's kind of old style restaurant, well located, good service at room. Perfect for events, massive tourists trips and good value for money. Breakfast it's quite variety.

Close to the metro and a moderately priced hotel. The beds are a bit small but overall, a reasonable hotel.

The official four star rating is not entirely accurate. It's not a bad hotel, just not amazing. Rooms are dated, and the hallways look prehistoric. Despite their old look, the rooms have ammentities and are not bad at all. The location isn't that great, being away from central Madrid, but it's literally in front of a bus stop which can take you all the way to Plaza de Mayor. If you are looking for a hotel close to central madrid, look else where. Otherwise, it's fine.

Very quiet and clean. Easy to move around.

It is not close to the city center and not close to a subway station. Best option is to take a cab. Rooms are of a nice size, however the distribution of outlets is very inconvenient. Bathrooms have a tub and basic toiletries. Rooms have A/C which is crucial during summer in Madrid. On the not so nice side of things, carpeting is old, and elevators are very small. Breakfast is average, but at 12 Euros per day I found it lacking. Room service is fast, variety is limited to a few dishes and sandwiches, but the hours are limited. Staff is nice overall, but tend to be swamped given the amount of tour groups that arrive and leave every few days. Room cleaning is very fast and superficial, no vacuuming that I have seen, they basically change the sheets and towels. If you are on a personal your trip, this is not the hotel for you. Better options can be found closer to the city center.

Overall, I find this hotel worthy of only 1 star. Unfortunately, the room I was given was small, dark, had only one window (viewings of other buildings), and had a pungent odor of cigarette smoke. Although the rooms appeared clean, the dark and dingy feeling made me quite uncomfortable. The elevators barely worked and were small, which left me to take my heavy suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. The Wifi did not work at all in the rooms. Although help was friendly, the hotel's outdated and uncomfortable feel, as well as distant location from tourist sites and central Madrid make it a poor choice of a hotel for any tourist. The bed I slept on was not an actual bed, but a cot with a hard mattress. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone and will personally never stay here again.

Clean, cozy and cheap enough. Not very close to the Metro (ca 800m) but a stone's throw from the River Park. Friendly and efficient Staff, reception 24/7.

Cozy Hotel, 5 mins from Metro stop, affordable prices. Recommended.

During the stay exploded the plumbing so there was no hot water in the bathroom. It can happen anywhere but being a 4 star, at the very least you expect to receive, if not a discount, at least an apology for the discomfort. Instead nothing, at check out they pretended to nothing.

I do not taste anything, high price for the room q I slept a whole week. It is no more I changed the bed sheets all week. And the room is not very soundproof.

Even having spent a little time in the hotel, the treatment received was excellent and I was eager to try the breakfast, it looked very appetizing.

Very good reception, very nice, on the other hand, very bad room (I could hear all the conversations of my neighbours and very late at night), the windows did not close properly (and saw that we had a room on a very busy, difficult to sleep avenue).
The food is really very average, however the breakfast is very good.
The Bus just down from the hotel is a very positive point.

This 4* (questionable) needs a serious renovation in all areas. We stayed here 4 nights. The walls are very thin — count yourself lucky if you're not situated near an elevator, stairs, or a noisy family. The TV was ancient, maybe ok for a remote motel but for a 4*? Good location by river, bus stop in front & 10 min walk to metro. Taxis are in front and generally very good/affordable in madrid. Nice ammenities with fridge and 2 complementary water bottles, no hot water heater though. Small room with 80s decor (and smell) and stained carpet but beds are comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet and spacious bathrooms were nice. The do not disturb sign is ignored, I guess the staff *Really* want to clean the rooms. Wifi is decent except between 8-10pm. Staff service needs improvement, so don't expect service with a smile here even if you speak Spanish. :)

PESIMO … Cockroaches, poor hygiene, and poor attention fatal.

Good amenities: — Reception. — Restaurant Mr. Alberto. — Rooms clean and neat. — Service toilet and maids (Very good). — Facilities of the hotel very good. — Good security. — Taxi service, you should improve some. In a general sense, my experience is good, I will use it when you visit Madrid, and I will use your hotel of Barcelona.

Very far from the center: (i) taxi to plaza mayor or plaza del sol 10€ minimum (ii) stations nearby are Marques de Vadillo or Usera (10-15min) and you are more than 5 metro stops to the center for tourists (iii) dangerous area for tourists, especially Usera to walk from the subway to the hotel. They have No iron at the disposal of the customers. The bath soap and the shampoo is a pity, of very poor quality. In the breakfast room: (i) the breakfast is of very poor quality, the prepared foods are very regular and does not have options of healthy breakfast; fruit the dan dive and does not give the image of hygiene, without the option to take the entire part (ii) forget about vitamins and nutrients, organic, picked up the staff and no one wanted to be responsible, it is safer shot. There is so much staff very friendly and attentive as the staff is very rude.

Hotel should upgrade their facilities and offer a deal faster and more efficient. Outdoor rooms very noisy due to the hustle and bustle of the main street.

I was robbed by Hotel Praga and there is nothing that I could do about it. Our experience was absolutely terrible. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially families traveling with babies. After traveling for a week with a baby I needed to have some laundry done. There was not laundry bag or a price list in our closet or the room. I went downstairs to the reception desk to ask about laundry and the attendant took my 2 SMALL plastic bags and said "NO Problem"! The attendant did not fill out a laundry list, he just took my bag and said that it would be done later that day. The laundry was done that day and when I looked at the bill I thought there was a mistake because it was $277 Euro! $277 Euro for mostly baby clothes! It was two loads of laundry 1 white and 1 dark! $30 Euro would have been appropriate, not $277 Euro! I felt like I was robbed by Hotel Praga! The rooms are $50 Euro a night, outdated, thin walls, internet that works 50% of the time and baby crib that would be considered dangerous to put a dog into — it had dangerous metal bars all the way around (i would encourage the Praga Hotel management to take a trip to a local Ikea and invest in a baby crib from this century). I feel like they rob people to make up for their cheap rooms. Charging someone $277 euro for 2 small bags of mostly baby clothes laundry is robbery! When I went downstairs to explain my situation to the manager the clerk lied and said that he told me that laundry was very expensive.

Good relationship quality-price. This hotel is a very large (8 plants) and old that I had to have 4* in the 80's. Has its own parking, and the restaurant to eat and the breakfast is good, with a buffet. Currently the rooms are good, with a large bed, an armchair, wardrobe, TV with many international channels and a fridge with free mineral water. With a spacious bathroom, the only thing that is old.

Hotel is well very clean, try correct and very cordial, with a fridge in the room what I think a point in his favor. There are many businesses and shops in the area. This well connected the only bad thing is that a bit far from the subway is walking refers.

That's great. A good place to rest if you're on business or leisure trip. Highly recommended in installations both service prstado. The well-appointed rooms. I highly recommend it.

It is a city of design hotel enough of the 1980s and with 4-star of the 80´s. This well preserved. It has all the necessary services. The price is acceptable. The staff is attentive and helpful. Is well located just next to the Park of Madrid River, ideal for walking and exercising, just over the South of the M30 Street with the A-42.

This classic hotel located in Madrid's calle Antonio Lopez, close to Marques de Vadillo and Legazpi, offers appropriate at very competitive prices. If situation permits, enjoy Madrid river due to its proximity and to carry from M30, A42 and A4 due to its proximity to them. Recommended.

Very nice, yet affordable hotel. Great clean bathroom. Metro 10 minutes. Bus connection directly in front of the door to the city centre. And very quietly to the back. Compared to a LIDL on the road plenty of tapas bars and even a BurgerKing. So we were very happy.

Hotel located approximately Marquez de vadillo and legazpi. It is not a luxury hotel but if a good site priced where spend the night, the staff is helpful and friendly, the prices are low and everything is very clean and organized. Ten minutes from the Centre of Madrid by car.

I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews but overall, we had a pleasant stay. However, I can confirm that the walls are VERY thin. This could've been really bad, but I suppose we got lucky and didn't get rooms next to very loud people. I could hear the guy in the next room snoring and that was annoying. The room was fine and clean. It wasn't huge but I think some of the other reviews exaggerate. The location was good. The metro station is only a 10-15 minute walk away. If you're too lazy to walk, the number 23 bus will drop you off in front of the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. There is also a Lidl, Carrefour and Dia supermarkets nearby. My interaction with the staff was minimal but I had no problems. Oh, and the cleaning ladies DO NOT pay any attention to 'do not disturb/no molestar' signs. We stayed 6 nights and had the sign up 5 of those days. On 4 of those days, they totally ignored the sign and cleaned the room anyway. So be warned that someone may just barge into your room even when you have the sign up. One day I left a body spray in a towel and they just carelessly took the towel with the body spray inside of it. This wouldn't have happened if they'd just paid attention to the sign! The beds were comfortable, but we didn't really like how it wasn't a double bed but rather two single beds pushed together. It makes it very hard to cuddle with one's husband that way! Aside from that, everything was fine.
