Just come back from a 4 night break, great room, lovely staff, very helpful, our only problem was the taxi, we got a taxi from the airport to the hotel and it was 48 euro! we paid as we did not want any trouble, we booked the taxi back to the airport the evening before we checked out, the reception lady said we should pay no more that 30 to 35 euro, when we arrived at the airport he tried again to charge us 41 euro again, we gave him 40, it wasnt the hotels fault, but I would defo book before we travel.

Extremely rude staff when corresponding. Paolo Grosso feels a need to be condescending when you contest a charge from them. Assuming on how you should respond to their websites inability to function properly when they have no context on how frustrating the process already was. I have included a screen shot of Paolos rude response.

I LOVE THIS HOTEL! Very boutique and stylish! I absolutely loved every second that I spent here! The staff was so kind and the breakfast was delicious! I give this place two thumbs up! Stay at the hotel who’s namesake is the most famous architect in the world!

We very much enjoyed our one night stay at Hotel Gaudi. We were so surprised by the spaciousness of the suite which was perfect for our family of four. The bathroom was large and spotless. The location is right in the heart of a major shopping and dining district with lots to do within a few steps of the hotel. We had a perfect stay, and hope to return some day for a longer visit.

This is the third time I have stayed at the Guadi and each time it has been fantastic. The rooms are a great size and always clean and tidy, the breakfast is amazing and the staff are always very helpful and friendly. The only fault I found on this occasion was that one evening we were sitting and enjoying the rooftop terrace which is supposed to be open until 11 and the staff started to clear away all the furniture at about 10.30 making us and other guests feel very uncomfortable and that we should not be there. Other than that we had a great stay.

It's a nice hotel! In the middle. It's not far from the market. Port. Shopping malls and cute shops… On the 6th floor there is a terrace with a pool and lovely estouts! The hotel is opposite Guel's house, Gaudi's creation. The rooms are small, the breakfast is modest but the location makes up for everything.

It's a great hotel. Next to Lucy's subway, a green branch. On foot the Gothic quarter, the Picasso Museum, the Museum of Music, the Boqueria Market, the Plaza de Catalunya, the house of Ballo. And that's not all.

Very speedy check in, room as requested by email prior to arrival (quiet, away from stairs and lifts on the top floor). You pay for the entire stay on arrival. Bedroom fairly basic but very clean. Really wide comfortable bed. Large bathroom with shower over bath, toilet, bidet and basin with good water pressure and warm water every time we used it. Safe deposit box in the room in the wardrobe. The wardrobe had only two shelves which was not enough for us. There was more hanging space then shelving. No tea & coffee making facilities, no mini bar, no bottled water in the room. Located just off La Rambla in a quiet street towards the beach so superb walking distance to everywhere. The breakfast buffet choice was a little limited but sufficient. Overall happy with this hotel with a lovely roof terrace with a small dip pool and comfortable seating. Would recommend to friends and family.

Stayed at Hotel Guadi right before our cruise in April and loved it. Our room was fabulous, overlooking the city and a patio to unwind was just what we needed after our long flight and after our tour of Barcelona. The staff was great and very friendly the location was perfect and right next to everything. I would highly recommend this place. Loved it!

We like to stay in small hotels which give us a local flavor. Fancy trimmings are not what make a pleasant stay. We were satisfied with our room, all the services provided, with our breakfasts, and with the guidance we got from the desk staff. The location is excellent. We would be happy to return to Barcelona and to your hotel.

Even before the contact with the hotel staff, we were very well received in the parking lot right next door. Then from our arrival to the start everything was perfect. The staff, the room, the bar, the restaurant and its breakfast were at the height if not beyond our expectation for this night spent at the hotel Gaudi.

We had a really great time at hotel gaudi. The staff was very helpful, the location is amazing and we got an amazing spacious balcony like we asked for. There are a couple of things to improve that would have pushed the experience to 5 stars for us: 1. Breakfast wasn't very good; eggs, meat and breads seemed very old and generally had an aftertaste. We struggled to find fresh food in the breakfast buffet. 2. Balcony could use an ourdoor shade. Because it was so nice we wanted to spend a lot of time out on the balcony, but it gets very hot without any shade, especially during the morning and noon.

We chose this Hotel, after a brief email regarding the accessibility for a wheelchair user, it is quite good in that respect and room 419 was really roomy, the bathroom has a sliding door and grab rails around the bath and toilet, okay if person able to transfer from wheelchair. The terrace was not really accessible as there was quite a big step over the threshold. We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room also. We booked direct and had free breakfasts, which were buffet style and plentiful, all freshly prepared. We would happily recommend and stay here again.

Very good impression, nice service, clean and quiet rooms. The only downside is the parking spaces too narrow.

If fI could give a 3.5 rating, I would. But being kind, I am rounding up. The hotel itself is pleasant. It's definitely very European and slightly aged but if we had too, we would stay there again. It is very quiet and comfortable. The staff however was not the greatest. The lady when we arrived around 9 AM after debarking our cruise was extremely curt to my stepdaughter who was staying with us as well as short with us when we dropped off our luggage. She tried to explain it would be locked up and away from us which we knew, but seemed annoyed we had to do it at all. About 10 minutes after dropping off the luggage, I had to run back to get medication for our son who started to run a fever. She was very annoyed at this point explaining someone had to go up and get it. The male employee who took me to it showed visible frustration at this point and while on the elevator with me was mumbling something in Spanish. As I don't speak Spanish, I don't know what he was saying and I'd hate to assume, but put two and two together… Anyway, the midnight staff was VERY nice and was very patient as we struggled with our son who was crying about having been woken up at 4 AM and was still sick — even offering to take luggage to our airport transfer, while refusing a tip, and getting him candy. He was incredible. I was disappointed we had to pay to use a crib/cot for our son.

The superior rooms with terrace offer a magnificent view of the guëll Palace.

Good location Very courteous. For those who like me have a very light sleep, you can hear the noises of the other rooms, especially the drains. Anyway I recommend it.

Beautiful hotel very close to the Ramblas then in the center is opposite Palazzo Guell. Clean, comfortable, breathtaking terrace with a pool that from its own on Palazzo Guell. Breathtaking view of the city. Wonderful great staff.

I had booked 3 nights at this hotel, upon arrival I had asked the girl at the front desk if I could pay after 2 days (1 day before check-out) but I was not made this courtesy, given that they had already made the preauthorisation on Credit card.
I was assigned the room on floor 1, very large room with balcony on the little street with the Palau Guell opposite.
I admit I took the basic room, but a refreshed to the furniture would be done and then missing the crazy thing minibar in a 3 star hotel in 2017!
Nice bar on the top floor, with a small bathtub where you can bathe (not a real pool) with a view of the roof of the Palau Guell, very beautiful, from here you could admire all the roofs of Barcelona…
Definitely the point of strength is the location, 30 meters from the Ramblas.

Good location, cosy Furnishings! The interior is good and comfortable! Unfortunately, the bathroom equipment, such as, for example, the tub has its best time behind itself, the coating dissolves and she looks in spite of brushing schmuddlig! The wars!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, good food. On the contrary-the Palace of Guell (unfortunately, did not have time to visit). I recommend it to everyone. The next visit to Barcelona will try to stay at the Gaudi hotel.

Great hotel, fantastic value for money. Situated at the bottom of la rambla opposite the gaudi museum. The rooms were good, very comfortable, no coffee or tea making facilities (and no fridge! ) staff very friendly and helpful, lovely roof terrace with bar and plunge pool with spectacular roof top views! Will definitely be back, loved it, thank you.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in the main tourist area. The room was clean and well furnitured. The bathroom was nice and clean. On the top a roof terrace with a good view of the city. I had no complaints at all.

For the area where you will find a quite reasonable price where to find treatment by the friendliest staff in addition to comfortable rooms.

The novel Barcelona recommends room 501, Breakfast on the patio overlooking Guell Palace and the famous tile work. Close to the Rambles for evening strolls. I was lucky to get to stay one nite, next time more. There is something about waking up to great architecture in the morning. Consider who we think is the reincarnation of Gaudi. The hotel corresponds to the what to expect at official 3 Stermen and are slightly more: thanks to Internet booking no check in problem. Check in friendly, a helping hand for the luggage. Rooms with air conditioning, lefthand, Wi-Fi, keycard and second card, shower, WC, balcony. Clean top! Staff very friendly. Roof (unfortunately only from 11 — 21 open) terrace with super views. Negative: The breakfast is not that great (small selection, sticky buns, slightly crude). It almost looks as if the breakfast should deteriorate the good overall impression. Oh, Yes: Top location. In 2 minutes walking to the old city.

Great location just a few steps from la Rambla. We stayed on the fourth floor overlooking the Gaudì Palace which was brilliant. Staff were helpful and friendly.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights on the 20-23feb 2013andrealy enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, all the staff were very helpful, I will use this hotel again x.
