We got the room available for 3 people. It was $140 US dollars per night in August of 2018.3 nights stayed. Room was a reasonable size for us Americans. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. Cleaning crew came every morning and made beds/restocked towels/soaps. TV only had a dozen Spanish channels, but who cares. Location was terrific, about a 2-3 block walk from a popular underground rail station, giving easy access to the entire city (a ticket is about €1). It felt safe and the breakfast was fantastic for a hostel. 3 nice meats, toast, oranges, hard boiled eggs, and some cheese options + tea/coffee. I would recommend this place for those travelers that are sick of staying in traditional hostels with 8 people in one room, but would prefer not to pay the insane prices for a name-brand, “traditional” American style hotel.

We had a reservation in this object but yet we were transfered without any notification or permission to a different neighbour location called Casa Maca, that had its standards way lower than what we expected from the pictures of Ally's Guesthouse. Also the floor was really dirty. When we checked in Ally's and then were moved to a different building, we noticed that it was called completely differently and that it was way different to what we have reserved. When we contacted Ally's, they said "sorry for the inconvenience but we had a problem with a bathroom in your room so we needed to move you". Move us to a DIFFERENT hostel? This is not even funny and shouldn't happen AT ALL, not to mention nobody even bothered to inform us about the whole situation in the first place.

A great place, friendky staff and beautuful rooms. Ckose to everythibg and a really fair price. Nothing more the wish for!

Terrible service from management, lots of noise from the restaurant below, would never stay here again.

Thieves! 700 Euro for one week in a Room 2 MT x 3 with shared bathroom.

In the most clean of Barcelona, rooms are small but functional and furnished with style. We have chosen the solution with the breakfast for 8€ more per night but worth it! Quality products and relaxing atmosphere.

We had a great five-day stay at the Casa Maca Guest House.
Our room was beautifully furnished and very clean and comfortable.
Cassandra and her staf were very helpful, breakfasts were delicious. A special thanks to Christina for that!

Wonderful guest house in a perfect location for seeing the sights. Rooms comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good (bread, cold meats, cereal, eggs, fresh orange juice…) and will keep you going for all the sight seeing!

Clean and functional room in the centre of Barcelona. Breakfast can be provided for an additional 8€, per day per person, fee.

Location is great, rooms are clean and very nice. Breakfast fantastic, with fresh orange juice! Staff is friendly and helpfull. We only had a room with a blind window (made reservations in december for august, expected therefor a great room) the window came out on a alley where a lot of other air-conditioning from several buildings came out. This caused a lot of noise. Had to sleep with earplugs. Through the blind window there was a light at night but no curtains and because it was on a alley there was no daylight during the day, witch made the room dark even in the morning (could not see if the sun was shining). So if you want to stay here ask for a room with a window! O and the terrace is sadly only open in the morning during breakfast, this is because the neighbors complained about the noise! After all we would stay here again for sure!

This is an apartment that was converted into as many rooms as possible. The rooms are extremely basic and exrremely noisy. Doors are barely lockable and our room (9sq. M. ) had a shared toilet/bathroom. At night there was a mouse in the corridor. This all for almost E100, — p/n. booked and payd 4 nights but got out after 1 night already.

This is the second time in this year that we visit Casa Maca and I'm sure that this will not be the last time. There we feel like home, clean, the employees (specially Karla) are very friendly, energetic and helpful. In the center of the city, near to the most important monuments, bars, restaurants, shopping centers, etc. Really it is a excellent choice if you are looking for a affordable nice B&B.

I have pco loved it and the girl is extremely kind and dynamic. Very caring. But the soundproofing is non-existent and it takes away the charm to the room very noisy overlooking the elevator shaft. Big downside. Well for 2 nights after the fatigue is felt. …

They are not real apartments with kitchen annex but com rooms shared bathroom and kitchen facilities.
Very nice and clean.
Comfortable accommodation in a strategic location which allows in just a few minutes walk to be right in the Center.

Very good guest house, stay for 4 days period of August, prices and staff very welcoming and it is also very close to the Sagrada Familia, other attractions and the metro!
Highly recommended.

I can only say thank you for the good times we have gone there. I can recommend it without place to doubt to all my friends and beings dear.
