I expected better service on the tasting menu. We arrived early to enjoy the menu quietly but we were pressed to pick up the dishes practically without leaving time. It is true that in a menu with 20 dishes the service must be agile but it became "too agile". On the other hand with the food we took 3 bottles of cava between 4 people. I do not understand that in a restaurant of this category we had to, on 3 occasions, ask to be served because the glasses were empty for a while. The restaurant has a level and the service must be commensurate with that level.

If you are into fine dining this place is a MUST. Definitely deserved 3 Michelin stars. Food is beyond tasty, it's pure art. I've been to multiple fine dining restaurants all over the world and this is one of my favourites.

Outstanding experience! Best restaurant I’ve been to in Spain as of yet. I had lost interest in Spanish fine dining after Mugartiz but you have reinstalled the desire to keep exploring.

Without a doubt the most horrible dining experience to date and that's across all restaurants from Le Louis XV in Monaco (out of this world) to Kebab street vendors in Beirut. **** In all transparency I have been meaning to post this since the "dining experience" in 2016 but never got around to it because I could write a book. I have since decided to start actively reviewing on Google and this was one not to be missed. Huge disappointment for the cost. Again this was in 2016 and menus and chefs do change. **** In short lots of hype and image with underwhelming performance. Wait staff was superb and we ordered the wine pairing (16 course if I recall) tasting menu. It was all downhill from the Tuna marrow dish that pretty much churned my stomach and never let me recover. I will spare you the play by play review but here is one example that still stands out. Tuna — succulent, delicate, textural perfection as nature presents it to us. Now, overcook it so it becomes a tough dried out morsel, drown it a a red wine reduction resembling the viscosity of red tar, et voila — one of the courses. What could enhance this lab experiment gone wrong culinary experience you ask? Well how about a pair of hired "models" in contrasting black and white cocktail dresses and high heels to ensure you could hear the cadence of their laps if you visually missed the walk around the restaurant every 15 minutes… I wish I was kidding here.

My husband and I came here for lunch and it was a very lovely experience! We were welcomed into the kitchen for 3 appetizers to start, and finished the rest of the course by a window-side table looking into the back yard. The dishes were creative, came on fancy plates, and absolutely delicious! We went for the traditional course, and would love to try the avant-garde menu next time we visit!

A decent place, but the guys still have something to work on.

We opted for the avant-garde menu, an experience: surprisingly imaginative dishes; Textures and flavors that are enhanced and combined beautifully in every bite of each dish. I've never tasted anything like it.
And if this were not enough, a lovely staff and helpful.

It is not only the food, which would be worth the maximum value, but the overall experience. You don't want it to end. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was very good and the taste of the first three tastings in the same kitchen while you see how they work until the last dessert, when the waiter prepares a sponge cake and ice cream without more help than a V ALS and a bottle of nitrogen. Impressive!

It's a culinary experience (because it's not just eating) Buenisina. The place is great and the food is so good that it is hard to describe in words. It is expensive but it is an experience that is worth enjoying once in a lifetime.

The restaurant lies off the beaten path. The location is extremely classy. We arrived and we got seated in a very nice terrace to wait while the preparations were done. Before getting seated, you get to see the kitchen and eat some appetizers there. It was very impressive to see the amount of people working there for such a small amount of tables, and also the precision with which they work. After that, we got seated in the main dining room, which is very very classy. The waiters are extremely attentive, but they were also very nice in a way that took the formality out of it a bit. Only tasting menus are served, so you are going to try a lot of dishes. Creativity is the name of the game here. You can get pretty much a bit of everything. The fish, veggies, meat. All of them are astounding. The flow is also excellent, as they leave you space to enjoy each dish, but don't leave you waiting too long, specially for such a long meal. One thing that particularly impressed me was all the variety in how the dishes are presented. They put a lot of effort in making how the food comes to you part of it, and in bringing it in a lot of different kind of plates. In terms of actual dishes, they are all small tasting portions, and they better be, as there are around 17 of them to try. We got a fatty tuna on top of a tuna bone that just melted in your mouth. The prawn head with a sort of prawn infused rice was also hard to forget.

I have been to many Michelin restaurants and this one stood out as rather unimaginative, and not the kind of experience you would expect from a 3 star restaurant. Service and wine was good — but the food lacked finesse, creativity and wow factor.

Amazing Local in Barcelona with an easy chic style. Multi-sensory experience in which the dishes are the protagonists of surreal stories tell us by the dedicated waiter (pure Italian! ). Unusual combinations of taste, refined chromaticism, excellent raw materials have characterized the long roundup served. We had to say stop at some point. And then the transition to "La Dulca"… Nothing more unbelievably fantastic. I Love it!
Delicious cakes, sweets and sweets to share in an environment characterized by strawberries and more giants. 5 stars! Recommended!

The adventure began in the kitchen itself. A beehive of creation and energy. And the first course came on a cactus, firmly setting the tone for the rest of the evening. Two more flavor explosions came amidst the staff before heading to the table where so much innovation was explored. At the end, we adjourned outside for a micro dessert fantasy of flavors. Amazing experience. No need to discuss food quality or service, they are of course the best. I will definitely try to repeat.

Dishes are more creative, but for Michelin Samsung restaurants, the details still have a lot of room to improve, such as the container of some dishes too distracting, and some waiters work attitude does not reach Samsung (too serious), the staff is not easy, this point dos Cielo did a better job (though not Samsung). There is also the storage and placement of tableware. Not enough dining environment is very good.

Lovely culinary experience, starting with a brief tour of the kitchen to see where the magic happens. We had the 13 course traditional tasting menu. Each course was impeccably prepared, varied in taste and texture but consistent with an overarching theme. Very knowledgeable sommelier who recommended a delightful bottle of rioja. ABaC is worthy of every one of it's 3 Michelin stars.

Well deserved three star Michelin restaurant, the Chef really deserves it as the experience is unique starting from the first two plates you eat at the kitchen. The oister is indredible as it shows amazing flavors and the mussels. Desserts and wines didn't disappoint us. Only one small mistake as one plate of meat was overcooked but they offered replacing it immediately. We chose the large menu option with 18 dishes. Anecdote: I asked the Chef at the kitchen if he was going out, meaning to the table at the end of dinner as many star Michelin restaurants, I believe he understood we were asking him to go for drinks.

This is as good as it gets in hotel-land; it's genuinely hard to fault a thing about ABaC, and it feels slightly churlish to try and do so. Nevertheless, in the interest of critical reviewing, let's give it a whirl. It's set on a busy road. But it's cocooned in a lush garden and surrounded by high wooden walls (press a discreet buzzer to enter), so you barely notice the traffic — plus the bedrooms are fully soundproofed. It's expensive. But it's utterly spoiling and being here feels like a real treat. It's a bit out of town, near the Park Güell.

Excellent food, different flavors, very adequate treatment, and not exaggerated as in others of similar category. We knew we would have to pay for quality and we did it with gusto. We do not understand who, going to a restaurant like this, complain about paying 5 or 10 euros more for a drink. With what it costs, you get to look at the note to the PAT? Crappy!

I'm going to be labeled a heretic at least, but he didn't kill me. Much better the 2 skies or, above all, the moments, which I loved, in my humble opinion. Of the price I will not speak, because in this type of restaurants, it is a mispara.

Excellent restaurant, with great team of treatment very nice and personalized, without being exaggerated. The food is a pleasure for the senses, of quality, original (you do not get hungry), surprising textures, all accompanied by an extensive, varied (both in origins and in price) wine and sparkling menu, in an elegant and refined atmosphere. Impossible not to repeat.

Absolutely lovely restaurant! We had the traditional set menu and enjoy every dish we had, the highlight of the dinner is the dessert preparation, it's a fantastic finish!

As a 3 star restaurant, service is better.
I discovered a cocha on a plate of fossilized hedgehog and said to the waiter, and without news.
The Rimo of serving dishes was very slow, almost lasted 4 hours, 3 hours and a half at least.
The time to wait between each dish was quite long and I started writing my thesis.

Amazing place. The food is fantastic and amazing. Treatment and attention of 10. The only downside is the price of the drink which, frankly is exorbitant and ruins a bit the experience.

One of the best restaurants you can visit. The first 2 courses in the kitchen, the way they sit you outside to start and then the very nice food, service and ambiance plus a great wine selection make this a meal to remember. Thank you for a fantastic dinner.

This definitely is not a Michelin-star restaurant! Maybe it is just me, I don't think it surprised me in a good way. Too much performance on the dishes but lacked skills to cook for the best taste. Very expensive for such disappointment!

Spectacular! From the kitchen like never before! The appetizers eaten in the kitchen, and with the visit of Chef Jordi Cruz! 18 dishes with met chords and wines.

Out of all the Michelin starred restaurants we have been to in Barcelona this was our favourite. The 16 course menu was outstanding — we loved every course which is unusual. Don't get the wine pairing there are some excellent wines by the bottle for a reasonable price.

Best meal of my life. Been to a few michelin star restaurants and as a total package this was the best. We did the big menu — 19 courses? — — and the creativity was impressive. Only thing I would say was not worth it was the wine pairing. 85€ for 5 wines was a bit much because they didn't seem special. The meal was though! Very quiet, tranquil restaurant. Perfect for our 20th anniversary.

If you can afford it, get the 21 course meal with wine pairing. Great food and even better experience. The chef has some amazing creations that you can only get here. If you are a goofy, it's well worth it!

Top notch food!

I found ABaC to be really disappointing food wise. The staff was great, the setting was beautiful, and the food was creative… It just wasn't very good. We went for the 16 course meal and it was overwhelmingly fishy. Not just lots of fish but very very fishy taste. There wasn't a balance or variety of flavors to enjoy. The wine pairing was a another example of lacking variety almost 100% white wine with no real standouts or great tie ins with the paired food. Yes it's very cool and creative have them bake a brownie at the table and make ice cream in front of you but the actual product wasn't all that good and that's most important.

Had an amazing meal here for my mother's 70th. Everything was flawless. 2 prefect bottles of wine suggested from the endless wine library. Only issue was a very raw pigeon plate. 3.5hrs to get through the small menu.

An easily forgettable experience. Personal room of 5 pelao excessive menu in all aspects. A 7, 5. Even with their two stars.

My Mamma to experience. Since you enter until you leave all oozing singularity.
No dishes each one with an explanation of your waiter assigned. All tasty, different, unique.
Worth the try if you think spending nearly €300 per person is something that you can afford and want to spend clear.

Only gave this restaurant five stars because there was no room for six. The food is everything expected. If you go to Barcelona you must eat here. The restaurant truly has everything from fantastic food to intriguing atmosphere but the most exceptional part of the experience is the staff. With one child sick I left mom in the room and took the other kids to the restaurant. After the meal one of the staff walked with me to a 24 hour pharmacy to get medicine while my other children got a tour of the kitchen!

Dishes with incredibly surprising flavors. Wonderful presentation and excellent friendly service. The staff is very friendly and attentive. More than recommended. It is a unique experience.

Uau! That was such a experience! ABaC is the high class restaurant (with 2 Michelin stars) owned by Jordi Cruz. We enjoyed the 'Gran ABaC' 17 dishes menu with wine pairing, which really surprised us. Big presence of sea elements in the menu, and local products. Wine selection was also splendid! In contrast with some other reviews, staff was really kind with us, so it's impossible not to give them 5 stars! P. S. Experience was even better as I was invited so I didn't saw the bill ;-)

Would have been a wonderful experience, but was let down by the service. The waitress forgot to put the fish into the steamer for our table, and for the other table, the fish came out undercooked. The waiters seems to like to 'drop' the dishes onto the table, thus messing up the hard work the chefs put in to decorate the plates. Food was good, but service not so. For the kind of prices they charge, I expect near flawless service.

Directed by Jordi Cruz with two Michelin stars in a new building with a pleasant garden.

Because I really don't have any complaints. I call to ask for the reservation a few days I returned to call to it will confirm the reservation and thus did. July 23 when I fuy all was wonderful. I want to congratulate the chef and his team.

The reserve was made three weeks earlier, went to the food the day and time agreed. Our table had been cancelled due to lack of confirmation via mail. An e-mail which we never received. We were informed that we should go since that not had tables at noon 3. We were treated with arrogance and a lack of respect hard to believe. My recommendation… before playing the Lottery with emails, go to a site allowing you to do this with a SIMPLE phone call.
