The first visit to Barcelona in 2012 began with this hotel. The staff are polite, the food is decent. The rooms are clean, cleaned regularly. Bathrooms, towels, soap, one-time toothbrushes and pasta, etc. Are available. Safe with electronic code, a small refrigerator with a bar. There are rooms with a view inside the otoin, i. E. On the roof of the kitchen, the dining room. Convenient location. The rooftop has a 2-metre-deep swimming pool and loungers. There is Wi-Fi, air conditioning, TV — it all depends on the room. I went to the gym nk. The overall experience is positive.

In the room there are no basic accessories, no slippers, robes, I was left with used shampoo, minus the paid mini-bar, and so like everything is OK! Yes, and a few outlets — near the bed they do not exist!

Absolutely fantastic hotel, wonderful roof top pool with fantastic views. Rooms are very clean great soundproofing. And very helpful staff, well recommended if you need a place to stay.

A large hotel with a lovely location in the Area de La Spain, but small rooms. The 7th floor is covered in bars. The bed is creaky and the dirt is on the stream on the lamps. The bed is clean.

I have stayed here twice and both times the hotel has looked after us incredibly well. As we arrived too early to check in, the hotel allowed us to leave our bags secure while we went out. The hotel upgraded our rooms which was a pleasant surprise. The roof top bar provides amazing views of the city. The staff are attentive and make sure you have everything you need during your stay.

This is an amazingly well placed hotel. The hotel has a subway stop virtually a few meters away from the entrance which is great. The views from the rooftop pool/bar is Postcard worthy and really really worth a visit even in you lodge elsewhere. There are many eating options close by and especially those on the roof of the mall across the road.

Here we booked and we came because previously we had come of our acquaintances and they highly recommended it.
The few days we stayed here, were experienced enjoying the full opportunities of the property (not the pool on the terrace, because it was in the winter! ).
One thing I had never found before and that still did not find, was the breakfast: Say abundant is an understatement! Of everything and more! Rich! Perhaps also because tourists, in this way, have a super autonomy to face the various tours to the city!

I went to a professional event. The facilities are very nice as well as the logistical organization. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I went to the hotel for a work event in the rooms located on the floor — 1. The rooms were in line with the event and spacious as well as well lit. I had No feeling of oppression and the acoustics were very good.

Lovely stay in this hotel: good and comfortable beds, big bathrooms and breakfast with lots of itens. The location is superb: right in front of Plaza de España, lots of restaurants around, pretty sights and easy access to transportation.

Medium structure, a little old and definitely to renovate. Nice breakfast room and very particular the buffet system. Good location Hotel from week-end or work.

It is a hotel that I like and I would repeat for sure.
The bad thing is that it is not soundproof and you hear everything, when ordering food in the room never has what puts the card.
But the beds are big and comfortable.
The room is great and the bathroom is very nice.
The massages and spa of the place is excellent I recommend the Balinese massage.
The staff is excellent.

Great experience here! Hotel staff and all employees were always very accommodating. We were here during a soccer tournament, so they were extremely busy. The breakfast buffet alone will be the reason I come back! Great selection! Great food! Great service! Thank you!

A shopping center that is ok, with cinema and restaurant. A spacious, clean and well-kept space with an incredible historical facade. But don't let them time you 1 euro, which is what make you pay to go in an elevator outside the center until arriva to the terrace of the restaurants, inside the center you also get I is free. Hook up, tourists.

Very central and very good service.

Superb hotel, we were in a suite at 11 em beautiful view floor, quality of the bedding impeccable I advice nothing to say cleanliness at the top, I recommend it, staff to listen and especially Lucie.

Room overlooking the National Palace Montjuic… we were three in the room… comfortable beds… not much noise heard… everything from here to reach well… The bath tub was really worn out did not look great… too few sockets for 3 people since mobile/laptop etc had to load. We did not take breakfast because 20 euros are just too much… Next to the hotel is a big shopping mall… there you can eat very good and cheap breakfast. Negative was that my girlfriend was robbed in the morning at check-out… no one could help us… So watch out.

We booked the rest of the clock. Sublime room that I advise. Very nice hotel conveniently located. Negative Point no SPA… They sell a spa but arrived on the spot, the chick alone and unsympathetic send us to us to say that here there is no spa. So the relaxation and wellness side to forget.
Breakfast to avoid at 12 euros/person This is really not good at all.

4 Star Hotel strategically located (both X public transport and X places to visit), but: — Restaurant room under the marquee, Frosty… — Non-overcooked pasta… more! Pens and rigatoni to pieces, seemed already chewed. … completely bland and, unique condiment, tomato paste — cold corridors — rooms with bathtub and shower with tent… — Very few outlets 220 V in personal room kind and courteous, but services offered not by 4 stars.

Was there on a business trip for 3 nights. Nice rooms, nice breakfast, nice staff but sleeping conditions were terrible. The ventilator was on 24 hours, I could not sleep even with music in my ears. Went to tell the reception desk who told me they would have it fixed the next day. It did not get fixed. Worst of all, I came back late one night and found a giant cockroach in my room (bigger than my thumb). I have never had so little sleep in a hotel. Very disappointed, especially considering it is a 4-star hotel.

We love this mall, we go very often we are fans of the Frankfour restaurant that is underground and whose employee always serves us with all the kindness of the world. My daughter doesn't want to go to dinner somewhere else and the clothes are really cool, I've already done several shopping there, definitely super recommended.

The location of the hotel is excellent, and sadly that is all the good I can say for this. The rooms are quite outdated, you will hear all the possible noises as if they were happening in the same room. We had to wait for the other room, as 3 hours after the opening of the check-in time, it is still not ready. Also, someone from the cleaning staff entered Ena Room 2 hours before checkout time, it is intolerable that they do not have a control that rooms have been left empty… For the price of this hotel you will expect much more.

It is exceptional hotel from the entrance to the exit, the people outstanding of service. This very clean, are very attentive, this in Plaza España, is very central, next to Sants station and bus that takes you to T1 and T2, this side of the twins and views of Montjuic and also close to the Spanish village.

Unsecure Hotel and you are easy target for thieves staying at this hotel is equal staying at the street! important documents were stolen from my locked suitcase from inside my room! And I had to check-out with a broken suitcase. ** Hotel management claims that I didn’t take precaution (they forget that I can’t take my big suite case to meetings! ) ** And they suggested that I didn’t close the door (they forget that it is not a door for a house – and that no strangers should roam between rooms) ** Staff is nice (helped me to wrap my damaged suitcase with plastic-film – and translate some papers). ** Breakfast is good. ** it is a tired old hotel (decoration & furniture). in this hotel you are easy target for thieves.

The room was very good. Very well connected to the main important places of the city. 15 minutes from the airport with bus stop at the door.
The food is more than correct and the breakfasts spectacular.

This is not a 4 star hotel, I've stayed in nicer motels than this hotel. Do not be fooled by the other reviews, this place is terrible. The lobby looks nice but once you get past the lobby the cracks start to show. We had to move rooms 3 times. 1st time the AC was broken. 2nd room, brown water was running from the faucet into a bathtub that wouldn't drain. AC was also broken, so were the tiles in the bathroom and the soap holder. 3rd room mold all over the bathroom ceiling. Did I mention you have to give the staff a credit card to get a lock for your safe and there are not any irons for floors 1-5? Guess you should book floor 6 and above. Also, the telephones were down so no one could call out nor could one call reception to get service or assistance. The worst part of all of this is that when we asked for a the manger, Mary, she refused to come speak with us. We finally spoke with another woman named Christina, who not only did not apologize but saw no problem with brown water coming from the bathroom. (It never ran clear while we were in that room). She refused to give us a better room because none were "available". It was only after our tour guide got involved that she moved us from the first floor to the 3rd floor to a room that was clean yet had mold. I was so exhausted and disappointed//disgusted by this treatment that I didn't even care. I have never in my 36 years been treated so poorly at a "luxury" hotel. Please do yourself a favor and STAY somewhere ELSE!

We stayed here before flying home to the UK after a long flight across the Atlantic. The room was great, spacious and well furnished. The rooftop terrace gives great views of Plaça d'Espanya though the outdoor pool is pretty cold in September! Special thanks to Andrea who helped us out a lot on up the 6th floor and made our stay very enjoyable.

Wonderful Hotel located in one of the most beautiful square of Barcelona with a beautiful terrace that from on the latter with a wonderful swimming pool (evening Cocktail Council)

Excellent hotel close to metro & all of the city. Nice staff & comfortable bed. One of the nicest I have stayed in.

Great location, good staff & more than adequate rooms. Train station nearby. Subway entrance out front & bus routes at Plaza Espania. Restaurants all over & most everything w/in walking distance. Within the hotel a caution or two. Plenty of hot water but the European showers still mystify me. No washcloths & no alarm clock. Room temperature easy to adjust. Plenty of elevators But caution as they are not adjusted to exactly match floor level. Breakfast buffet has everything. Staff generally good English speaking but some American slang not understood.

It does not correspond absolutely to the 4 stars that have been attributed… The structure in addition is old and decentralized compared to the main places of interest… and this morning dos Cucarachas in the bathroom!

Fantastic the penthouse pool with solarium and bar view of Barcelona's most beautiful square.

The rooms have a modern décor, even the most basic are very wide, comfy beds, big bathroom and all very clean, breakfast is good. Also the location is absolutely great.

Stunning View From Roof Top, good choice to shopping and variety.

Lovely centrally located older hotel that has been updated. Comfortable beds in a larger than normal room. Strange faucet in the center of the tub and a powerful water stream makes it nearly impossible to avoid getting water on the floor, especially since the shower curtain is attached to the ceiling and reaches only a few inches below the top of the tub. The front desk personnel were very accommodating when I requested a second pillow. Breakfast buffet was ample and uncluded a variety of choices. They will make you an omelet if you like but they use way too much oil. Also the servers clear off dishes from your table even when you haven't finished eating. Would be nice if they asked if you are finished first. Friday night there was an excellent pianist playing in the lobby. All in all a nice hotel.

Luxury Hotel in the centre of Barcelona.
Very nice breakfast and good food and well cooked. Located next to the Barcelona Arena and the homonymous fair. Public bus service leads directly without stops from the airport to the hotel.

View and location are fantastic. This of course has its price, because it is also quite noisy late at night when the room shows up towards Plaza Espanya — > window too!
The rooms are OK. A bit of a habit, but not bad. In my, the air conditioner unfortunately only produced hot dusty air. May have been an isolated case. The breakfast is served in an uncomfortable station hall — Pardon — in a halo. It was good and there was from fruit over cheese and ham to cakes and omelettes nothing you could miss, European level.
At the blue hour you should have visited the pool on the 8th floor. It's really nicely laid out and the view makes every photographer's heart beat faster.

I went to an event that was held in a meeting room at the lower floor. Only I spoke with a receptionist of the hotel who told me where the event was held. Well cordial treatment.

Wonderful view, ideal location for bus, subway etc, staff nice, but little attentive, we were in a suite (room the day after our arrival change, because double premium initially reserved room had a bathroom with moldy, withered joints and not the details promised on internet (journal, night and morning, coffee, tea, bathrobe etc) with the smell of pipe in the bathroom) reported daily, no improvement and no change of room, nor a commercial gesture.
All in all, a 3 stars, not 4. I'm 3 — 4 times a year in Barcelona, and advise other superior, less expensive hotels. Catalonia Putxet and Güell Catalonia for example.

Good hotel, the location is unbeatable, in plaza Spain, right in front of the fira and Montjuïc. Full of restaurants and services. Lacks a renovation, the room is spacious but a bit old. It is usually very well, recommended him.

It has been a horrible experience, the room smelled so badly to vomit. I requested a room change and they gave me another smelling more less same, or opening the windows is it arranged. Do not I recommend it to anyone. I stayed 2 nights for work and not return, expensive price for tired old foul room.

The Clock is the new terrace of the hotel Catalonia Barcelona Plaza. On the 8th floor of the hotel that the barcelonesed we have always looked at the clock in the Plaza of Spain, has opened a new terrace. Surprised that it has not been until now, because the BHotel and the new Las Arenas Shopping Centre had opened theirs and were the delight of those who wanted to see the plaza, the Museu Nacional d. Of Art of Catalonia, the four columns or the changing colors and forms of the magic fountain Font. The terrace offers the best views of the area along with areas very well kept around the pool with balinese beds, sun loungers, bar or chill out area. Highly recommended for a night with a view.

Excellent. We payed 70 for person /night and we really enjoyed. The bar and the swimming pool on the roof is something to see!

This square is a mass every day of the year, there are from expressions holidays people step because low to the rambla, … everything pretty is the plaza because it is lost a little because the people will not let you see it. It is true that having an English court and an apple store will not help.

Unique and unrepeatable! 10☆ many years ago that we are going to the now called watermark restaurant at the Plaza Hotel and we always left more than satisfied its avant-garde cuisine and excellent friendly service. Today we are back after a while and we have returned to surprise with a renewed and exquisite menu as well as a deal once again surpassed itself in two young and beautiful girls named Siham and Marta. In any other Hotel or restaurant in Barcelona we have tried with the gentleness and kindness of these two young women. Any restaurant would dispute is to offer the service of these two employees in his dining room. Another detail to highlight would be an unbeatable quality/price. Thank you very much for everything. Soon, we will repeat safe.

A little expensive for what it really is. It is true that in a very privileged location, it is plaza Spain, but the truth is that once inside never ceases to be a hotel more than you can find in many more sites for a price much more economical.

We were staying 1 week in the Catalonia Barcelona Plaza while we did reform in our House. We were put in a very spacious room because we were 2 adults and 2 small children. Cot service. Breakfasts, spectacular. And have a dinner service in the room very practical if you are travelling with young children (we are asking one day a pizza, and the next day Japanese menu, all delicious). They are equipped with gym and swimming pool. 10.

This hotel has a privileged location in the Plaza of Spain.
Customer service is without doubt one of your major points, as treated us fantastically throughout the stay.
It has a variety of very modern facilities and great quality.
I note the views from the pool: see Montjuic from the heights is priceless.
Our room was very spacious and everything worked correctly.
The price is more than justified, so 100% recommended.
