My husband and I had a terrible experience. We checked in Friday night and ended up changing hotels as our room smelled so bad of mold and dampness that it was literally unbearable to stay in the room. We stay at Hilton’s worldwide (are Hilton honors members) and have never experienced anything like this. And when we called to complain — as soon as we entered our room, they sent housekeeping up with a machine that alters the air quality and were told to keep it running for an hour and then unplug it. Unacceptable. First, the rooms should never smell like that, it was nauseating. Second, if you need a machine to fix the issue, then that’s a huge problem and no one should have to stay in that room. Last, no apologies, no service, no offer of another room, nothing. We were greatly inconvenienced with having to leave an hour after arrival (coming from the US) and having to find another hotel that could accommodate us last minute. Terrible service, not up to par with Hilton standards at all. Extremely disappointing.

Tidy and clean. New and modern looking. Very small, and a bit out of the way. Rooms are very small and basic. Bus tour stops very close to the entrance. Close metro station, makes it about an hour from the airport.

A very nice Hilton hotel. It’s a bit on the outskirts of the activities but it’s only couple miles away. A taxi ride to the key attractions will only cost you like 10 Euro. It’s very close to Metro and bus lines if you are into public transportation. Hotel itself is modern, roomy, clean and comfortable. Very nice staff and willing to help. It really helps if you are a Hilton member. I am one and I got access to lounge and free breakfast. The full breakfast is fantastic! Mind you that European twin bed is really just for one person. Make sure you know how much space you need when you book.

Amazing location… not too much in the crowded but at the same time almost at walking distance to all major locations… Also amazing access to bus, trams, and subways… the hotel restaurant is also fantastic… the rooms are a bit small though and the breakfast can be improved further…

Very modern and very comfortable hotel. A credit to Hilton. Staff were pleasant and friendly and English spoken widely and to a very high level. Room was great but dusty in areas. Attention to service in bar area slow but pleasant. Breakfast and breakfast room below standard I would have expected red for the appearance and standard of the rest of the hotel.

Very modern facility. Air conditioner is the best in all of Europe. Elevators are prompt. Rooms are a little bigger than most of the hotels I've stayed in Europe. Convenient to shops and public transit.

I love Barcelona it was my second visit but my first stay in Hilton Barcelona. Very central to lots of shops, restaurants and walking distance to Las Ramblas. The food perfect, good and of quality. The service was also great. Nothing to complain about the place and neither the service. A good business/vacation.

It's a great location for nearby shopping and not far from all of the places you'd want to visit. The rooms are clean and seem fairly new. The beds are a bit firm so if you're looking for a pillow top mattress this is not what you'll be getting. The staff are super friendly and speak perfect English.

We have spent two nights here in advance of a transatlantic cruise. Great staff, super facilities. Way better than average hotel food, but staff will helpfully point you toward other options. A few minutes was tp a hop on hop off bus stop that opens up all of this jewel of a city to you.

Very modern and trendy hotel. Stayed only one night but I was very impressed with the service and the rooms. Did not experience their dining options but bar service was excellent. Located in a nice area with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely opt to stay there again and will recommend to friends.

We stayed for three days before and two days after a RCCL cruise. The first stay was lacking the quality I expect from Hilton. The second stay was very good. On the first stay, they had a coffee bar in the room that was never serviced the entire stay. At first we thought they stopped using it. It wasn’t until the second stay that we found the coffee service was a very nice asset to have. On the first stay we went out for the entire day, returning at 5, only to find our room was never serviced. No problems on our second stay.

Very well located in the middle of diagonal and close to Sants. Rooftop pool, gym, and bar-restaurant. Beside the hotel there are also many places to dine.

Hotel with very nice rooms. Room spacious and large enough. Nice bathroom with shower tub, WC and bidet. Courteous service. Breakfast with a large selection of cold cuts, cheese, egg dishes and fruit. For a city trip, however, it is not central enough, although public transport is at the door.

If you compare with hotels in Moscow, this Hilton pulls Mach on 3 *!
200 €/night, with no free water, no slippers, no toothbrush with paste, no spoons for shoes… The service is usual, on the European slow, food monotonous… In this regard, 4 * not pulling!

Great experience in this hotel, where the rooms are spacious, comfortable and cared for in detail. The breakfast is super, the staff very friendly and helpful. Only fault the distance from the center easily accessible by Metro or taxi.

I just got back from my stay with you on March 6-8, 2018 thru Viking Cruises, and see that you charged me $55.51 US. I didn’t purchase anything and we didn’t buy anything from the room while we were there. Please send me an invoice and explanation for this charge, as it was prepaid by Viking. I have sent numerous emails to you with no reply’s. We loved the hotel, service was great, included breakfast was also very nice. A little too far from the touristy area for us to walk to, but still enjoyed our stay. Please advise regarding the charge.

Extremely small rooms for a hotel that's so far from the center. Rooms were nicely appointed by way to small. Not even enough room to have my luggage out, I literally had to unpack and put my luggage in the wardrobe. Had issues with the shower drainage which flooded the room. If you don't mind being approximately 4 miles from the center then this hotel might work.

Good location, close to shopping mall, 15 minutes to airport, 5 minutes, train station, good transport communication, excellent restaurant, good bar, great service.

Elevators slow and small. Staff very nice. Yolanda was very helpful. Room size ok, double twin too beds are on small end but proper for the area/region. Breakfast buffet has better than expected selection. No swimming pool. Different area than usual at Barcelona and has different character and feel. Less touristy busy. Lots of higher end shopping around. Can walk to plaza catalunya in 30-45 minutes if you walk fast. Possible to walk to transportation hub south of hotel. Would not have problems staying here again.

Our room was big enough for two people. It was clean and cozy. The Executive lounge is also recommended. Because the prices of the drinks are very expensive. Had a great deal and still the big Breakfast included. Food is terrific. Lots of Spanish food. Just delicious.

Good location and very comfortable rooms.

High-class Hotel that although not located in the center of the city, is very well connected by public transport and vehicle, it takes only a few minutes. The rooms are very well equipped and the customer service is excellent. As for the restaurant, the food is very good and the workers are very friendly and attentive to everything, I highlight one of them named Diego that makes you feel at home. It is a good choice if you intend to stay in a high-class hotel.

Comfortable Hotel suitable for professional trips. A little cold for a holiday stay.

Comfortable stay. Located in a place that's quiet and not crowded like La Ramblas. Friendly and professional staff. Contemporary decor. Free Wi-Fi for guests. Breakfast buffet is a wide spread of healthy food, such as cheeses, smoked salmon, prosciutto, eggs and bacon, juices, choice of mimosa drink. And the coffee smells good and tastes strong. The tapa choices at the bar were all good; my husband and I settled for the pieces of sirloin meat and that was delicious; he gave us complimentary olives and nuts with our ordered bottle of white wine.

Very convenient hotel next to shopping centers, restaurants and public transport. Staff are very helpful and co-operative. Clean rooms with amenities and provide underground parking as well.

By the delay of my flight arrive at midnight, I was attended to and greeted with a great smile and a very friendly attention from the receptionist who managed to change my bad mood for my delay. The facilities are excellent in every detail, from the comfort of the bed and the pillows as the detail of the room decor without a doubt to the height of a 5 star Hilton hotel. The location is far from the center but is very close to the Metro and is a few blocks from the club Barcelona. My stay was excellent and I would return without thinking again but the most remarkable was the attention of their staff and the excellent deal with the customer. Thank you.

Nice business hotel in Barcelona. Very close to metro station (Maria Cristina). Rooms are modern but on the small side. Staff are friendly and the design is modern and open. Very comfortable hotel and upper floors do have nice views! It is a nice hotel if you do not mind being a little out of the city centre.

Its good overall, a bit expensive and the breakfast is okay. The rooms are nice and the concierge is very helpful. The gym is really good. The service can some times be stingy but most of the times its great. The best thing is the executive lounge which has snacks and drinks until 11 pm.

We went to the Diagonal Hilton for the company Christmas dinner and, despite being more than 400 people, the service and quality was excellent.

4 star Hotel Very fixed, very miderna and functional decoration, offers a good service of free buffet with basic cuisine but very successful. My room was a high standard even for a 4 star, with a large lounge separated from the cob bedroom a big bed and a divan, television in both rooms. There was a small natural plant that we recommend to water.

The location is superb by the site do de is located! Close to shopping mall variety of restaurants and shops, the elegant and comfortable facilities the parking access to the hotel hall somewhat small to go with baby Cochesito and suitcases.

Very clean, the room is a good size, the washroom was modern and well maintained. Staff was helpful and spoke English well. Lots of small shops and restaurants to grab a bite outside the hotel. Taxi stand out front, and 1 block from subway. Will definitely stay here again.

It is located in all the heart of Diagonal Avenue. It has transport of taxis, tram, buses and close to the Metro line. It is a luxury Hotel, with good comfort, Bar, Restaurant, center for social events. Your attention is excellent.

From start to finish a bad experience — 5 days in a bad hotel Check in was slow and rushed — no welcome or politeness The first room had the driest air con ever — we work in the morning literally gasping for moisture and oxygen When I requested to change the room I was told "we are full" — I suggested that was no problem and could the arrange a transfer to another hotel A room "miraculously" came available and we moved The room key needed "fixing" each day — it was my fault for having it near my phone according to the receptionist — very hard to do when I didn't have my phone with me for one day! The details in the hotel are poor — draws broken, stained carpets and general "we don't care" attitude I am a gold card holder and stay over 50 nights a year in Hilton — this is by far the worse and the biggest problem is that they do not care Thanks for making a 5 day holiday stressful!

Clean, comfortable, and modern, but smells horrible. Not sure if it was cleaner or a scent diffuser, but the lobby smelled like scented chemicals of some sort. Luckily, the smell didn't get to my room. Don't recommended for asthmatics.

Beautiful hotel, all the modern American amenities with upscale bathroom, oversized walk-in shower or standard tub. Premium quality sheets, duvet. We stayed on the executive floor, with complementary robes, and slippers. Service was outstanding, all the staff went out if their way to help. With accommodations and baggage. Restaurant was overwhelmed the night we went and we had to wait one and a half hours for food which was quite bad when it came, but everything else about the hotel was outstanding.

Our flight was unfortunately cancelled and the airline arranged for us to stay at the Hilton Barcelona. Even though it was around midnight when we arrived the gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and provided us with a room and information about inclusive breakfast. The room was very nice, everything you would expect from a 5* and more.

Hilton Barcelona is a good hotel close to the centre of town. It is a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport costing about €25 or it's only a 5 minute walk from the metro station Maria Cristina on L3. There is amble shopping opportunities around the hotel as well as restaurants. There is also a nice terrace bar just outside the entrance with has nice views. The main restaurant is located at the lobby level and is reasonable priced and has good Spanish food. They have a small gym with a few machines and weights. The executive lounge is located on the 4th floor and serves breakfast 7 to 10 and cocktails between 6pm to 8pm and has soft drinks and coffee and tea in between. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with glass features and well planned. The bathrooms are a good size with nice rain shower heads. It's the only Hilton in Barcelona with an executive lounge whereas the other Hilton is close to the beach and has a pool.

Meeting room for corporate event. The chairs could be more comfortable. The air was not working at the beginning and the audio system was nothing otherworldly.

Sometimes their service is horrible. Some of the staff are really really rude. Their last wish is to help you (I lived in this hotel for several months) Hope you don't have any problem if you stay there and 'those employees' are in the reception.

Loved everything about this hotel from eco friendly to cleanliness to convenience with connection right outside the hotel. Hotel staff is very friendly and multilingual. I definitely recommend this place.

On avenida Diagonal and surrounded by office buildings and the shopping area between The English Court and lIlla is The Vibe Bar, the terrace of the Hilton Barcelona Hotel. Due to its location and decoration is a terrace excellent to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily with cocktails, tapas and a good wine.

My experience here was much less than desirable. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Once we checked out and left the hotel (after many conversations with the hotel staff) I was informed that I was being charged for a third room as a no-show because I failed to show up. Not once in our two night stay did any of the hotel staff mention a third room reservation. When I disputed the charge, I was told by multiple employees and a supervisor that the charges were valid and my card would be charged. I would not only never stay at this hotel again, but this experience has damaged my opinion of the Hilton brand.

This hotel did not live up to its name. Room was clean and decent. For the price it was lacking in quality. I also felt discriminated by some of the staffs.

I has loved this hotel, located in the diagonal, surrounded of the mall that has a variety of shops and on the other side some big stores, with bus and tram stop out of the hotel and also stop the tourist bus that you can get tickets at the hotel. Now move on to the important, reformed two years ago have given him a very chic style, quite wide reception staffed a simply spectacular, at the bar of the hotel where comes natural light through its large windows will find an orange sculpture that my I fell in love from the first day that saw her. Also renovated, rooms are very spacious with very modern but very comfortable furniture, has a pretty good gym, I had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant of the hotel and I must say that the food both its taste and quality is excellent. At the entrance to have a terrace that in summer is this luxury and can take whatever you want. For my would return with closed eyes to this hotel since it is a safe bet that I will well and without being in the Centre of Barcelona, I'm close to everything.

I took a bus out to where I would take the train from. I had downloaded all of my directions in advance to make things easier. I bought a 2 day pass for the train, but in hindsight a 10 trip pass would have been cheaper and gotten me through my entire visit. My hotel for my trip in Barcelona would be the Hilton Barcelona. The directions to get there were pretty simple. A bus ride, then a train ride and then it was a short walk to the hotel. It proved to be slightly more complicated than I imagined as I walked back and forth past the hotel several times. It only had a couple of blue Hilton flags to identify it that were recessed a bit from the actual street. I felt a little silly when I finally found it. I went to the front desk to check in and I was behind probably the most annoying person in the world go get behind for checking in. I waited in line for about 20 minutes in order to check in. When I finally checked in I was offered the choice of a room on the third floor or waiting for a room on a higher floor. I just wanted to check in so I opted for the lower floor. This hotel has that numbering system where even numbers are on one side in one hallway and odd numbered rooms are on the other side. I didn't notice this when I first got off of the elevator and it lead to few more seconds of aimless wandering. It is a decent hotel but it is very pricey as well.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The renovations are beautiful, especially the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the new beds were extremely comfortable. Very close to the metro station.
