Staff not very Friendly and they don't Speak English We booked 2 Rooms as they dont have Family suits available upon arrival one of our rooms were cancelled so we had to phone our travel Angent to find out Why our one Room was cancelled Only to find out that one of their Staff Members Cancelled the room no Explanation to why the room was cancelled and no Appology … Nothing to do at the Hotel no Amenities far away from everything Not a Nice Experience.

The housekeeping doesnt speak english! The tourist are coming from all over the world. And english is the universal language, everyone should understand english very well…

Very cheap hotel away from city centre. Has air conditioning in conference halls. The building looks old, as some doors get jammed while opening, and you have to struggle with them. Food in the restaurant is not that special. There is only one toilet in the lobby for all conference participants. The staff is very courteous and professional.

Wonderful time, clean and peaceful room, the towels were changed every day, friendly staff, the café bar also wonderful. The nearest metro station is around 4-5 minutes walking, there is also a bus stop close to the hotel; there is not much to do around, if you want to know Barcelona you have to take any transportation to go to the centre, enjoy the architecture or go to beach (more or less 30 minutes by train)

A comfortable location, just behind the metro hotel. Metro is the central line, we loved it. The room for a family of 4 is large, 2 rooms. There's a fridge.

An inexpensive and good option, next to the entrance to the metro to the main branch of Barcelona L3.10 minutes by tube to the centre of Barcelona.

Conveniently located near a Subway station to easily reach downtown Barcelona in 15-20 minutes. The rooms are clean but not as good as one would expect from a 4 star hotel (the paper wall was falling appart). However, pricing is also very low for a 4 star hotel which probably explains it.

This location is ok but the people that works there are very rude to tourist especially for asian american, for a country that majority are catholic is very shameful, I feels sorry for the hotel owners that his own people brings bad buisnes for him.

I would recommend this hotel as we had a great time!
Spacious room, bathroom with bathtub/shower, hairdryer, changing towels every day and reseating beds, the kindness of the staff and the surprise of finding the fridge bar in the room (to be kept a little something), the safe, and the kettle to make yourself some Infused, the proximity (3 minutes walk) to Metro Line 3 (green) even if not close to the center and not least the advantageous price makes Alimara an excellent point of support!
I recommend the high floors for the city view! (We had breakfast outside)

We had a good… The mattress is a little uncomfortable.

The hotel is tired, it needs a refurb to bring it back up to a 4 start hotel imo. We have stayed here three times. The cleanliness isn't up to expected standard. We have had excrement on the outside of the toilet (not ours! ) A half smoked cigarette under the children's bunk beds and just not quite clean enough in other areas. The single mattresses are uncomfortable. Wall paper is peeling in places, on our most recent stay the door to the balcony had been repaired (all round the glass) with duct tape. The breakfast is expensive the selection is OK. They got disgruntled when we tried to take some food away for my two young children, who don't eat much in one sitting & one of whom at the time was clearly quite unwell so we wanted to take food away for her to eat when she was feeling better. Bearing in mind we stay only to attend medical trips for our daughter, this is of importance to us. The onsite restaurant is good but I feel it falls just short of what it's trying to achieve. The kids choices could be better and would be great if they included a vegetable or two… the only ones that seem likely to be made on site is the pasta and soup. It's the only hotel in the area so we don't have many other options for ease on our trips, or we would likely stay else where.

Hotel Alimara is a 4-star MICE Hotel on the outskirts of Barcelona, close to the Vall D'Hebron Hospital and 2 minutes from the Mundet Metro stop. They offer three types of rooms: standard, superior and junior suites. They also offer different types of services such as kettle, mini bar, laundry, gym 24h, massages and Telepizza. This Hotel consists of many meeting rooms for events and congresses and a staff very attentive to the needs of the client.

Very unprofessional banquet service. I went to a wedding and two times of business meetings. When you've worked there you can't recommend this hotel. If I work there extra in room with many years of experience. Well, it was the worst experience. Responsible and unfortunate staff, (10 years ago). Cofee break very well January 2018. Staff has improved.

The location is good communicated by car and the service is decent.

I give them a unique star for the restaurant and quality and presentation of the food and desserts that was the only highlight. Location in the periphery, in the ring of Barcelona, one more block and was outside. Proximity to the metro helps a lot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We went to eat at his restaurant, we signed like any other hotel to make the payment when we retire and return the card of the room and when the restaurant called us of reception saying that exceeded the amount to do that haha as if it were our fault Haha. Rooms of fourth, shower that patina and with nothing to put, bed with expired woods, mattress sunk.

I'm staying at the 9th floor. It has good views and is quiet, it is well connected although somewhat away from the centre (25-30 minutes by car) The staff was quite friendly.

The room, which was located on the ninth floor, was clean and spacious. Despite a 15-20 minute drive to the city centre, the location is very good. The hotel is located right next to a metro station, there is plenty of free parking in the area, even if it's not easy to find one. There are also plenty of good restaurants, an ATM and a large supermarket in the immediate vicinity.
For breakfast itself, I can't say anything as I didn't book it.

Was here for a conference. It is conveniently located and the conference room was ok. Nevertheless, the chairs were uncomfortable.

Great experience whenever we have been, the rooms are very well conditioned and there is no noise pollution. The hotel has all kinds of amenities to spend a great day of work and presentations.

Good quality to price ratio. Really close to metro station. But quite loud at night because of highway and not sounddproof windows.

The rooms were clean and bathrooms well stocked. Beds are 2 singles joined together. Air conditioning is slow to cool the rooms. We had a smoker set off the fire alarm so my visit is somewhat soured by being awoken in the middle of the night. Breakfast starts at 8am so doesn't serve early risers.

Many people think hell is a philosophical place but after staying in this hotel I can confirm it is very real. Since the hotel is close to virtually nothing of interest in Barcelona, you will likely arrived sweating and frazzled from a long journey on public transportation. The relatively cool lobby greets you where you quickly receive your room key. Head over to the elevator and upon entering it feel the temperature climb about 10 degrees. Then as you ascend and enter the hallway, feel it rise a bit more. Finally, put the key in your door, open it, and feel all of satan's fury blow into your face as you enter your room that has been baking in the sun all day, windows either open or, probably worse, drawing in greenhouse heat with black curtains. Try in vain to cool the room by adjusting the A/C, and then head down to the lobby to ask why your room is 40 degrees celsius. The kind lobby staff inform you that the A/C only works when the windows are closed and sealed and the thermostat is set to 20 degrees celsius. Since youarrived around 17:00 with a two year old and an infant, you only have a few hours to cool the room before bed time. Needless to say it was still a sauna at bed time. No worries, though, there's plenty to do outside the room, like walk around a completely residential/office space neighborhood next to a highway with next to no restaurants or shops.

Rooms were clean. A/c was not in and took quite a while to cook the room. Feels like it is 5 years past it's prime.

The rooms are left unairconditioned by themselves so make sure you leave the key in the ac sensor and leave it on. The shower is not well designed and has a whole half side missing so water leaks and splashes outside easily. The fitness room has two treadmills and one machine so not much to do there. The button to reach the front desk doesn't work nor do any of the buttons on the telephone. It's also far away from the city of so the taxi costs can rack up if you're from out of town. Besides that the room is spacious, the Wi-Fi actually works and the ac is quite nice. I would prefer though to stay somewhere inside the city.

Large double rooms, fully equipped. Lovely location, close to shops and the Metro. Friendly staff. Very clean and tidy.

We were only one night. Out of the window there is a place where we can take pictures and photos also we can enjoy the sunrise which made me feel like I was at home. Good Staff, a nice Hotel.

Big rooms and good service.

Good price for value. One big downside — very noisy because of the highway next to the hotel. The windows are like from paper, could not stop the noise from the street when closed at night.

Near the hospital vall d' hebrón, subway stop almost almost at the door (line 3) that communicates with the sants metro station without having to make transfers. Very attentive staff. New rooms and in keeping with the hotel breakfast. Recommended.

Hotel and very good service. Easy access by car or by metro.

The room is very nice, with a modern and comfortable decor, and very nice views of a green area of Barcelona. Despite its proximity to a road noise is not heard. On the other hand very dry and treatment improved, partly because the staff is people in practice.

I went to this hotel in order to attend some seminars, so I cannot rate the quality of the rooms. But what I saw was pretty good, and the service was great. My only complaint is that there wasn't much food during lunch, there was a lot of people and the food vanished instantly. But maybe this can be more a logistics problem from the event organisers, but overall it was a great experience.

Good facilities and better treatment. In addition, we can enjoy high quality cuisine at a good price in the CETT (accessible from the lobby).

Modern and well maintained only 5 minutes walk from the metro station "mundet" and a hypermarket and a couple of places to eat and have breakfast (as in the hotel is quite expensive). The rooms are nice, once even gave it a higher to lack availability than standard. Well equipped also with sponge and comb. Fridge, air conditioning and tv. Staff very nice, safe neighborhood. In peak season in August, double the 60 € approximately.

We left Hotel Alimara this morning. The hotel is ok, the rooms are clean and the bar service is good. However, we had a problem with the reception… the day we arrived we have been told to leave a credit card as a deposit, but we didn't have it; so the receptionist ask us to leave 20€ as a deposit (instead of the card) … this morning, as we did the check out, our 20€ deposit was not included in the final receipt, in other words, they did not give us the money back because the reception did not record our deposit payment anywhere. A little more professionalism, please!

I have worked there and the treatment the student is DEGRADING.

We only stayed one night in this hotel, the truth is that we could enjoy a little away from the Center, but beside this the Mundet metro station of Barcelona, this. Room was very, very wide and minimalist style, the furniture was quite new and the correct bathroom with a large shower. Our room overlooking the main facade of the entrance, and we could not hear cars passing through the round. Very correct cleaning service. The staff was friendly and Nice. We found an offer for this hotel and the truth is that the value for money was excellent. Preferred hotel.

Room is nice, furniture has a minimalistic touch which I personally like. The resturant is excellent: not many dishes you would call traditional, but the quality is there. Parking your car is way too expensive (15.5 € per night) but the biggest thumb down is for internet connection: as many reported, it's not free, and that's a bummer.

The situation that has is a little bad, since it is in the Ronda de Dalt, but it has a metro station very nearby, in the same street. The staff is nice, because I understand what people in practices that study at the University of to the side, and the truth that are young and very nice guys. The rooms are recently refurbished and the breakfast is quite good.

Ok, bit noisy air conditioning. For 3 German channels on TV. Wi-Fi is also OK 7 euro for 24 hours.

Fatal, they gave us a room on floor 8, didn't work well air conditioning and told us it was normal, after leaving all afternoon to stop cold air no havia way to lower the temperature, we ask for change of room and with arrogance, reluctantly, and after much insisting, we the changed, fatal treatment and fatal facilities never had treated me so,

Very very noisy, directly on the busy ring road. The Windows are leaking, so you can hardly sleep without ear protection. Miserables respond to customer requirements. I wanted to no breakfast but a cup of tea. I was not allowed with my friends in the dining room because it is assumed that the guests buffet steal. Because the bar is closed in the morning I was able to then drink my tea in the room from the paper Cup.

Only is there air conditioning in the reception, the rest of the unbearable heat lobby. Internet, horrible in the lobby. In the rooms very expensive internet, 6€ / day. Is unfortunate that a 4 * copper by Internet. It says the receptionist is not free because people pornographic veria and police would miss them the high, because they would know the IP. Jaaaaajajaja. It was the girls who was in reception 10/07/2013 in the afternoon.

For "free" Wi-Fi in the lobby you have to register with your passport ID! Otherwise a clean and nice hotel.

Stay of one night. Perhaps that's why they gave us room for smokers, be it, or ask for it. Nor do I recommend rooms overlooking the round, traffic is heard much. In the reservation I asked for king size bed and give me a room with two beds. The reservation was made on the website of the hotel and had rooms with King-size bed available. The proper bathroom and the room also. Comfort of the mattress, a 7 out of 10.
Breakfast: to my opinion a 4 star must have natural juices, and it does not have. Inlay is not of quality, as well as pastries. Some cheeses, fruit. Hot little thing. Anyway, not bad, you can breakfast with dignity, but loose for 4 stars. Almost that the best is the Nespresso coffee machine.

You need to pay for the internet (2 euro / half-hour or 6 euros per day), breakfast is pretty dull, but location is really close to the metro station (L3 line — Mundet). Staff was friendly and helpful.
