Review of The Corner Hotel 4*

We truly had the perfect stay at the Corner Hotel. Our group of six friends had just traveled to Barcelona from Paris, and from the moment we stepped in the door, smiling faces offered a highly professional and personal experience. This new space has a very modern, chic & clean design, and I especially appreciate the versatility of the public spaces. The lobby doubles as a cafe, triples as a cute bar, but provides plenty of intimate nooks for catching up, playing cards, and drinking a nice bottle of rioja. The rooftop sports stunning views, a gorgeous & clean infinity pool, plenty of loungers, proper dining tables and high tops, a cute bar, as well as a shaded lounge space. We literally spent our entire first day on the roof, recovering from our journey. It's like having your own personal paradise. The rooms themselves (we opted for the famous corner room) was spacious and smart, providing lots of flexible lighting, storage, and seating. The bathroom was truly a beautiful experience, with a shower that dreams are made of. The beds had just the right soft / firm ratio (maybe leaned a bit on the soft side, which I prefer), and the pillows were luxurious and generous. The hotel is located central to many cute restaurants & bars in the very friendly and easily accessible Eixample district. Close to everything but still providing a fun/hip neighborhood vibe, I loved this part of the city most. We had many excellent bites & sips just a block or two away. Perhaps what sets this hotel apart from other places I've stayed was the service. Honestly, I feel like we left the hotel having made friends with several of the amazing staff members on site here. They remembered our names, our conversations, and went out of the way to make each day of our stay more special than the last. This was my first trip to Barcelona, and I left loving the beauty of the city and the kindness of its people, and the Corner Hotel staff played a big part in making those memories. Do yourself a favor and stay here!
