Big thanks to this amazing hotel with their incredible staff for our unforgettable time in beautiful Barcelona. I emailed the concierge for recommendations in advance of my trip and received very thorough, well thought out recommendations… The rooms were spacious with modern decor and 2 showers. We also enjoyed a very nice breakfast in a beautiful setting. On our first night, we walked to Sagrada (15-20 min) and the location was very efficient for all key attractions we wanted to visit as well as multiple restaurants.

We had a lovely stay at Room Mate Carla hotel. The staff was excellent, booking us tickets, giving us advice on what to see and how to get there, and calling cabs for us. The bartender was a gem and treated us like family. Even the men attending to the door were very friendly. I'd stay here again just for the staff! It was hot and humid during our stay but the rooms were comfortably cool. We had windows that opened so we could enjoy the breeze at night. The rooms are nicely decorated and a reasonable size and ours were very clean. The hotel is in a nice location, close to transportation and walking distance to most siteseeing (including Sagrada Familia), shopping, and eating. On the advice of the hotel staff we went to the B-Lounge 360 degree Terrace bar. You must go! It's a rooftop bar — with a soaking pool! — that has a full 360 degree view of the city. Go at sunset! Stunning! We would definitely stay at Room Mate Carla again.

Exceptional hotel! It’s a designer hotel and the junior suite is exquisitely decorated. The rooms are thoughtfully equipped and reflects great attention to detail. Services are amazing. Definitely among the finest boutique hotels in the world.

This is well located and nice boutique hotel. The rooms are nice but a bit small. They seem to thrive on optional upgrades such as 10 euro for a pre bought breakfast buffet and 20 euros for an additional 30 square meters of room. The ac doesn't go as cold as advertised. However the staff is pleasant and very willing to assist you. Despite the defects I would stay here or its sister property on my next visit to the city.

Excellent mid range option in central location. Finishes show wear and tear and not all rooms have walk-in showers.

It is a very central hotel with an informal decor, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are very nice. The price seems to me adjusted considering where it is located. It has an interior terrace where it is a pleasure to have a drink at night or a coffee first thing. For me it is advisable.

I have been twice already and if I were to go back to Barcelona I would still be at room mate Carla. Beautiful, modern, with an abundant and varied breakfast open until noon. The. Rooms are sometimes small but. They are always stylish and efficient. The hotel is located in a very nice area a few steps from the Passeji de Graca (at the height of the Petrina) and a 5 minutes walk from the metro stops. Always walk in 10/15 minutes you reach the Sagrada Familia. Perfect!

Very modern room in contemporary style. The rooms are quite spacious and the bedding very comfortable.
A bottle of water is available at your arrival in the room and a minibar well provided.
Breakfast is a buffet A will is very well provided a regal.
The staff is very smiling but two bemols, I had reserved a room with a double bed and at my arrival I was kindly explained that there was more room with double bed and that if I really wanted it I had to pay 30 or 40 euros more for a Room with terrace. In addition, the person forgot to return my passport and when I realized it, at the airport the next day of course, the hotel asked me to take charge of the shipping costs… not very merchantable.
Otherwise the hotel is right in the city centre a 30min walk from the Ramblas.
No parking and hard to park. There is a private parking lot on the side of the hotel that closes at night.

We got caught up in Storm Emma from Dublin but eventually made it to the hotel. On arrival we got a free upgrade due to the stressful journey we had, this was really appreciated. Lovely hotel, very funky and really welcoming and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

What a delight to stay… counting on this hotel as accommodation in Barcelona, the visit to the city can only be won: a 10 for the staff: friendly, caring, they solve everything; Another 10 to breakfast: varied and abundant, surprising; The building, another example of the success of the chain for its headquarters: a charming building and a successful decoration. A 10!

The place is very well designed. The rooms are minimalist, pretty, but only what you need. No gym but Barcelona is at your feet and your feet will burn when you're done walking the city. The staff we friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Hotel in the smallest detail. All super modern style years 70. Of the room I was impressed with everything. Vivid colors. The huge shower. The location and the cleanliness of the bed The balcony is very cute and from there you can see a glimpse of the sagradafamilia.

Very Nice Hotel, Quiet, Nice Room, good size. A bit far from the Barcelona city center (Top of Eixample) 30min walk to get to La Ramblas. Small Bar near the Reception with limited and expansive choice, not open all the time. Very High price over >1.880 EUR for 7 nights without Breakfast. Warning : They gave us a 15 m²/161 ft² Room but was advertised 20 m²/215 ft² when booked — After negotiation we were successful and changed room. Not included 1, 21 EUR per person per night city tax.

Unbelievable experience. The staff are incredible. Left each of us a gift packet of 12 grapes for the Spanish New Year’s midnight tradition. I will look for this chain in every city I travel now!

Very nice design hotel in the centre, 500m from Passeig de Gracia (Champs-Elysées Barcelona). We liked it very much, the hotel is clean, the rooms nickels. A special mention + + — to the various receptionists, speak almost all French, very kind, smiling and good advice;
— to the male person of the breakfast, he is very smiling and very meticulous with the customers.

Great hotel, modern, airy, cosy. Had a slight problem with the cold on the first night but was easily sorted by locking the balcony properly (perhaps look into this? ). The breakfast was delicious and of a large variety (I didn't eat until dinner time after that each time! ) All very pleasant, but the real seller of this hotel is the staff. Friendly, approachable and always happy to help. Special mention to Cristina who worked night shifts this week and who was always professional (no matter how many times we annoyed her) and cordial. If we were allowed to tip her, we would have. Give her a raise, she does your hotel proud. Lovely woman!

One of the worst hotels ive ever stayed in. It looks nice, the rooms are fairly big. BUT! the internet does not work! the TV does not work and the beds are horrible! when we asked why the internet didnt work, the receptionist didnt know. Next day still now answer. On the third day they said that they are working on it. We stayed 4 days in total and never had internet, even though they had 3 lines. Only in the lobby. only one staff member spoke english. When complained about it, that the receptionist didnt speak english, I was told that we are in spain an thats the main language. every day someone had to come to the room and instal the TV. nice to know: no music chanels in spain allowed. the worst was when I complained, I didnt feel undertsood. I felt stupid. The staff didnt give a shit that my stay was uncomfortable.

Lousy restaurant. Do not have or that offers the menu. They have three girls to the service, and only one is whole. Makrooh. Sorry.

A very friendly staff, clean and stylish designed rooms, very good breakfast with fresh fruit, Spanish ham. Also, the location is very convenient, it is located in the middle of the city, walking distance to the Park Güell, Sagrada Familia, old town and port. If we still annually travel to Barcelona, we will stay here again.

Very good Hotel, I went through a supervantaggiosa offer then comparing money can't do that. Location in residential and quiet but with 5 minutes walk to the metro, suitable for families and couples, not recommend to young maybe, infinite, not eat breakfast till dinner. The Wi-Fi in the rooms of the 3 floor is a bit lacking and sometimes disconnects, the shower/bathroom is little "private" for me was not a problem but a door pull over and almost transparent glass might not be much at all. Nice and kind receptionist they booked restaurants and recommended means of transport.

Wonderful hotel. Not very far from Paseo de Gracia and La Rambla. Good cooked Breakfast. Always had scrambled eggs with bacon, not to mention numerous snacks, fruits, pastries. Good service. Every evening, returning to the room, on a bed there was a little chocolate — trifle, but nice and information postcard with indication of tomorrow's weather, the most interesting thing is that all coincided.
