Excellent hotel in the center of Barcelona. Service, food and staff are unbeatable. Highly recommended!

I was expecting more of the rooftop, everybody in spite of dining or just having drinks must have the same privileges of good seats not improvising chairs in uncomfortable corners.

An ancient and elegant hotel with over 100 years of experience in making its international guests feel warmly welcomed and pampered. The hotel really lives up to its five stars.

The penthouse offers an amazing time with your loved ones! Not to forget the sublime service! We never visit the same place twice… but this is the exception to the rule!

We was coming back for our 5 year Anniversary in May 2021 but thanks to COVID… we now can't 😥 We'll be back as soon as we can making more amazing memories in the place one day we'll hopefully call our home, or 2nd home.

I made the big mistake of giving away for a birthday one night at the majestic. What should be one of the best hotels in Barcelona is not even up to a 2 star hotel. The list of deficiencies is really long so I will only dedicate myself to highlighting what has been most serious >>
1. Misleading advertising: on their website they advertise that by booking there you will have included some of the spa services and the buffet breakfast that is supposed to be one of the best in Europe. Even if you do not believe any of this is available due to covid but HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE. A hotel of its category and resources that is not even able to communicate well.
2. After being disappointed since the spa afternoon has been left in nothing we have decided to climb up to the terrace to sit by your pool. More than swimming pool should say Footwash. Good thing we haven't stayed in the summer because only two adults must enter and in the middle of the pandemic none.
3. After spending the night in our chest of drawers, but quite worn out and deficient by 2020, room decided to go down so it supposed to be the best hotel breakfast in Europe. I really don't know how to express my disappointment.

The suites of the Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona are not located in the hotel itself, but diagonally across the street with its own entrance. The rating is the same as my review of the Majestic Hotel.

Simply put — one of the best in the world!

Appartments were spacious and well equipped with washer, fridge, kettle, toaster, cooker, oven, kettle etc. Nice large bathrooms with lovely toiletries. Bedrooms were large and spacious. Nice terrace to sit outside on. Use of facilities in the majestic hotel — spa. Hotel bar was disappointing and pricey. Waited a very long time to be served and spoken to rudely on some occasions by bar staff. Well located for exploring Barcelona.

Very small. Should put coasters, I surprised that in a hotel of luxury not have of them.
Cocktail without alcohol very rich.
It can be violent see people in bikinis while you are eating or something.

1. Breakfast great, choice a lot of, the bellboy of the level of service is also high.
2. Bathroom supplies high-end brands, soap, shampoo, etc. All Bulgari, Marble bathtub tub is not a General experience.
3. Patio feels amazing, the 360-degree overview of the city in style, no cover all day, very few people, suitable to drink a Cup of the, night, basic full, The night view is great.
4. The hotel is very different from the conventional meaning of a 5-star hotel, a majestic lobby and beautiful appearance, and more focus on practical, the details, exquisite place is worth the savor of the hotel, the reception and the doorman was very much in the hotel has been at work for 10-30 years, and they chat can feel them as they treat the hotel as home the profound emotions.

The service of rooms, the buttons, the receiving system is great and in general are all very attentive and always earrings give the best possible experience. Rooms are chulisima, and views over the promenade are perfect. Much of Barcelona looks on the roof!

Spectacular terrace, gastronomy, comfort and spectacular views!

The hotel's location, just in Gracia the middle of the street and is easily accessible. Bathroom a large cubicle doing well.

We have been to the Vitae Dolce, the bar located on the roof of the hotel. We went roof just before sunset and the view and the colors are beautiful. The place offers a cozy place and clean the pool. Proposed cocktails are very good but expensive rest.

This is a review of the Sunday Brunch at the Majestic Hotel, Barcelona. I did not stay as a guest in the hotel (but maybe next time! ) Having enjoyed Sunday brunch at many cities in Europe, the Majestic really stands out as the very best. The building itself is impressive, and the decor in the public parts of the hotel is luxurious and comfortable, with the restaurant on the first floor being no exception. I have to especially mention the staff; friendly, courteous, professional, they showed real interest and explaining the particular layout of the Majestic brunch. Elise, Greg and their duty manager really made a special event even more enjoyable and memorable. Sunday brunch at the Majestic is incredible value for money; for less than €60 each we had endless Champagne (and it *was* Champagne, not any other sparkling white wine), vermud, starters, mains, deserts — all buffet-style, you could have as much or as little as you wanted. Barcelona is a unique city, full of light and colour, and brunch at the Majestic is an amazing way to spend an enjoyable Sunday afternoon — perfection.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. What a fantastic place to stay. Centrally located. Staff top notch. And the best continental breakfast I have EVER seen. Recommend 100%.

I was in my birthday housed in a beautiful room. And the Restaurant soma is a wonder.

We called and asked to eat lunch and stay the day at the pool and the reception told me and my friends that it was fine if we ordered something at the pool bar. When arriving at the roof top pool, we got rejected and literally neglected. This is not acceptable as we came all the way because the reception had said it was ok. There were maximum 2 guests by the pool however the waiter said one of the reasons we could not stay was because they were "too busy".

Great for a family But they don't clean the apartment every day like other hotel apartments.

If there is a hotel that is constantly renewed in its culinary offerings this is the Hotel Majestic. And their famous Sunday brunch is he now joins a proposal for the evening, in the bar, which merge the snack with the fashion… We are talking about the Majestic Fashion Tea, an experience to continue to care for the visitor, and not only to which there is housed, but also to the public of Barcelona and out that wants to enjoy. The Majestic Fashion Tea has been conceived as a snack 'sweet & chic' and, therefore, has taken the fashion, so present in the surroundings of the hotel and around Passeig de Gràcia, as its central axis. In this way, the hand of the chef, Nandu Jubany and five signatures of world-renowned has created a gastronomic proposal focused on the éclairs, a sweet typically French that has been reworked thinking in philosophy and the new collections of luxury brands such as Bruno Cuccinelli, Rosa Clará, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo and Bvlgari. The Majestic Fashion Tea is composed of a hot drink, a piece of plumcake, and an éclair to choose between the five available. We also find his version of 'deluxe', the Majestic Champagne Fashion Tea, which, to all of the above, it is joined by an éclair salt, a glass of champagne Ruinart and a macaron.

Nice hotel but for a 5 star I would have expected a better room. Very small room with no balcony and "city view" is a side street. €1 for coffee capsules is ridiculous, I've never heard of that in any hotel before.

I am talking here about Tea time at the Majestivc hotel. Fashion and michelin stars get together to offer us an exquisite time. Every evening from 4 to 7pm, you can have their fashion éclairs with a hot beverage or champagne. The hight street brands of Pg de Gracia where The Majestic is situated, inspired these 5 éclairs: Fiamma by Salvatore Ferragamo, Pasion Romana by Bvlgari, Perugia by Brunello Cucinelli, 2015 by Rosa Clara & Sweetie by Jimmy Choo. This fashion tea will be served in a historical space which exudes sophistication with its luscious leather sofas and wooden tables facing an open kitchen. The carte as well as the gastronomic offer at the Majestic is under the supervision of the famous catalan chef Nandu Jubany.

We stayed here for the second half of our honeymoon in October. I will never stay here again. Although we arrived too early to check in, we had come from Santorini and were barely met with any fan fare, even after I mentioned that we were there for our honeymoon. Not even a "congratulations' was said, let alone any effort to try and get our room ready as quickly as possible. Instead we were told to come back around 3 (it was 10 am). Don't get me wrong. The woman was professional and pleasant enough — but we were on our honeymoon at a 5 star hotel — and this was how we were greeted. When we returned we were brought up to our room, which was beautiful, except for one thing — the two twin beds. Have I mentioned we were on our honeymoon? I called to once again remind them that we were here on our honeymoon and would prefer a queen size bed I was told that 90% of the hotel was set up this way and that they could tie the beds together and set up as a queen. I expressed my concern that the beds were on wheels and would move away from the wall mounted headboard and/or that one of us would wind up in a indentation in the bed. We were shown a room with a queen bed but it was so tight and tiny we declined. We had our beds tied together. A day later, after our travel agent called the hotel on our behalf, we were shown an 'upgraded' room just down the hall from our room with a slightly better view and queen bed, but again shoe box small.

One of the best hotels in Barcelona, I Babysitter often in rooms and I am in love with this hotel. The conserges are the most! Always friendly, helping and pleasant. I went once to the brunch on Sunday and is also outstanding.

The service was not the best for it being a five star hotel. The room was comfortable as I got the junior suite for three nights. It had a little balcony overlooking the city. The thing I liked most was the pool area at night. The pool is on the roof top and has a few couches with a dj at night. Pretty cozy.

We climbed to the 10th floor of the hotel, exit to the terrace and see all of Barcelona at your feet is a feeling worth enjoying. We take a drink in one of their couches with an incredible view, paseo de Gracia, the Sagrada Familia, the illumination of torre agbar, Montjuïc or the Tibidabo can be seen from the top floor of the hotel. The prices are not economic, but a Gin&Tonic with these views and with a DJ playing music for 17€ is not bad.

Little better and that much good and bad and this is what happens with the Majestic, advised by Jubany Sunday Brunch not leave nothing by trying, we've already repeated several times.

Will be here in the middle of May. Judging from the reviews, cool hotel.

Restaurant is good, service and food great but the atmosphere is a bit funereal. Terrace is luxurious and probably worth the money.

Great self catering apartments! In Passeo de Gracia, walking distance from everywhere you need to be. Two bedrooms and large living room. Loved it.
