Great location and a very nice hotel. Some of the rooms look out onto an airshaft, when we were given one of those we complained and they moved to a lovely 4th floor room with a small but cool balcony looking out over the Bari Gotic, which was great. I'd recommend the breakfast buffet of fresh food as many of the locale shops don't open until later. A very nice stay…

Cute little hotel in the old quarter, close to both the historical sights and the beach. The staff was very helpful and, for once, they prepared all pre-requested amenities in time. The room was small but very clean. There is a small gym that is very well appointed. A good place to stay on a budget in Barcelona.

Nice venue. The only problem was that we were able to hear the street noises. It felt as if the windows were open when they were not.

Nice no fuss hotel ideally located in the heart of Barcelona. Rooms are very new and the bathroom was huge compared to the size of the room. Reccomended.

My wife and I arrived at the hotel mid-afternoon in March and left early a few days later. The approach to the hotel was difficult to locate and not inviting. Cristina, the customer service officer (CSO) was polite and helpful. We were given a room on the third floor of the building. Contrary to the advertising by the hotel that it had been recently renovated with bright colours, we found the double room small, cramped, drab and gloomy, with no external view except for the window of a room on the opposite wall. Unlike other international hotels we have stayed in, there were no tea/coffee-making facilities in the room and we were expected to go down two floors to obtain these beverages from a vending machine at additional cost. Apart from Cristina, the other CSO's were rude and/or unhelpful. Cristina arranged for us to receive 'breakfast packs' on the morning of our departure, as our transfer pick-up to the airport was before the restaurant opened. We would not be returning to this hotel or recommending it to others.

A beautiful Old Town hotel in a very central location in the Gothic quarter. Attractive foyer. The service is good, but in part only in Spanish (…). Wonderful breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired (exceptionally for 3 * * * in Spain! ). Room clean and small. For a city break but quite sufficient. In the evening there is quite noisy noise from the street, but the nightly "core times" for sleeping are OK (otherwise you can order another rosé to the tapas).
The breakfast was very good.

The facility of buffet breakfast and a kettle in the room (for afternoon tea) could have been a great advantage and comfort.

Good location with freindly staff, good service and great breakfast! But, rooms aren't sound proof at all, can be a bit annoying and explains why ear plugs were provided Had problem with room's temperature, but was fixed later on.

Hotel very well located in the barrio Gotico, nice decoration room, normal bed, big clean bathrooms… the staff is very friendly.

Great location in Gòtic and near the Passaig de Colom. Water in the lobby. New and tidy rooms. Even has a fitness room with a few stuff.

It really deserves the three stars. Only that there is noise on the streets and the windows don't get closed. Clean (7/7), organised, great breakfast, great personnel. Free gym.

It is good to stay and is in a good place to visit the old Town.

Breakfast is really good, and the shower is cool. Rooms are somewhat small. Windows are not good, we can hear every single word from the street that is 2 floors beneath us and our room was getting cold. People are not really quite on said street during night by the way. The room is clean, can't complain about that but I don't like that our blankets were beneath two sheets instead of a proper duvet cover. You can also only flush the toilet once every 10 minutes. The major plus is that the hotel is in a pretty good location, you can reach several very good restaurants within minutes walking, the harbour is 10 minutes away and the rambles are right around the corner basically.

The staff is very nice and the rooms are not very good. The area is not bad, not suitable for families.

In the Gothic quarter, 5 minutes from everything.
Near Maremagnum, Las Ramblas, Ciutadella Park, Cathedral… that night is a little dreary street.
The hotel itself is on the NH line. That is to say quality I kindness I good service.

Friendly staff and nice rooms and room rates. Breakfast buffet comes at a good price for a nice selection of various breakfast options. Very satisfied. I would definitely stay here again.

It is in a very comfortable place to move around everywhere, the rooms are comfortable and the concierge staff is super professional.

Good hotel in a great position, rooms are really small, I mean, Japanese standards small, also mine smelled a bit, still a good value, good breakfast, very close to the harbor and the running path on the sea, gym is small but with new and good equipment. Probably you cant get any better in this area at this price so 4 stars.

The hotel is really nice and recently renovated. It's in a great location. The rooms are a bit smaller than we expected (based on the pictures online) but I believe that's pretty normal for Europe in general. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is spacious and very clean and new. There's also some great cafes on the same street. I would stay here again.

Pleasant hotel in an excellent location. Professional, helpful front desk personnel, well-maintained common spaces. The only off-putting thing about the room was the door to bathroom. It was translucent glass, so privacy for private matters was minimal, and there was nothing to keep the door closed (like a latch, lock) save for a tiny strip of Velcro, and it failed. Beyond that, no issues. Rooms have safes, some have balconies over a "happening" street, and getting to La Rambla or restaurants, transportation, Barcelona sites, was a breeze.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for three nights and I must say this is one of the best hotels we have been to, amazing location inbetween the marina/beach and la rambles are both about 10 minute walk away. The staff are really great and are always willing to help with any requests. We will be returning to this hotel due to the staff, the location, the amazing room with air conditioning ☺ and also for this beautiful city.

Absolutely the top area in Barcelona. One should make sure to book rooms with two beds, as these rooms are significantly larger than the double rooms. You should also be aware that not all rooms have a view. Because the hotel is located in an old historical building, many rooms have a natural window to the atrium. But this does not cause any damage. The room is nice and modern and the breakfast is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is not a 5 star luxury hotel, but it makes up for that with location. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we loved this hotel. If you are looking for a hotel with a pulse this place is great. Its on a fairly busy but narrow street that offers interesting people watching off the rooms private balcony. Port Veil is only a 2min walk and there are so many interesting bars, restaurants, and shops to check out. The staff was great. They had fantastic recommendations to some great places. We really enjoyed staying here and when we return to Barcelona we will stay here again.

Had a great stay, didn't try the breakfast at the hotel though, but everything else was good.
