A private hotel in the centre of Barcelona. Good staff, old wonderful elevator. I wouldn't stop the second time.

We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. A substantive amount of cash was stolen from one of our handbags while in the lobby and the staff showed little willingness to help us solve the case. Judging by their way of acting, we remained unsure about whether the staff was actually interested in solving how exactly this could have happened.

This was not a 4 star hotel experience: -Bed had no back board and leaning against the back wall causes the bed to slide out across the marble floor. Very annoying. -Wifi slow to the point of not working, especially during peak hours. -Not even basic room amenities e. G. Kettle. There is a fridge but it's not stocked. -TV only has Spanish television, there is no film purchase system. -Room wasn't properly cleaned, dust and hair under the bed and side tables. Not terrible amounts but still. -Pillowcases weren't changed despite being obviously dirtied. -Cleaners appeared at random times. One knocked on our door very early around 11am, another day it was 4pm and our room still hadn't been done. -Noise from scraping of chairs across the marble floor audible from everywhere -Foul drain like smell was present in the lobby on our arrival, it mostly went away by the next day. -No explanation of room service. I still don't know what number I was supposed to dial, the info brochure didn't include it. -Upon arriving in the room I had to go back down to reception to ask where my safe key was, which was rentable for 2 euros a day. Seriously? You couldn't have told me that when I checked in? Is it really worth me having to discover it for myself and then get nickle&dimed? All for 8 euros of profit.

Ok. Nice frame. The rooms are nice.

Our room for 3 people was dark despite a small balcony. The beds are not comfortable, the sheets felt the humidity and the cleanliness in general the room left to be desired for a 4 star. However the staff was very nice.

The faults: bedding really pourir, d another time to change emergency.
Rustling, you hear the flushing and the street.
Deco of the years 80.
No valet parking reserved at the hotel. No empty mini bar Porter.
Positive: efficient air-conditioning, flat screen, reading machine, mini water bottle and 2 sweets, fresh bathroom with good taste, room cleanliness, nice room size.
For me c is a 2 or 3 star Max. We're not on 4, the value for money is not good.

Neplohov location. In the near restaurants shops of the house of remarkable. Service at 3. The staff is friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaning… Soap and Aode to the Cherns Oaz. No breakfast. Boiled eggs and slicing of several types of cheese and meat. A glass of hot water will have to buy in the machine for 30 euros cents. Next time I'll look for a friend option.

Fabulous Hotel strategic location.

Good service from the receptionist who was at those hours of the night, room clean, comfortable, nice and good views. I loved it. Would.

We loved it there, upon arriving everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful with a street view of a courtyard. Loved it. Central to shopping, dining and the beach. Very easy to get around.

Great location but rooms were very noisy. Close to port and las ramblas… walking distance to both. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room was clean. Not happy needing to pay 2 euro per day to use in room safe.

Hotel in a well renovated old villa. Very good location in the Gothic old town. Unfortunately, the breakfast is not at the level of four stars.
Poor service, and restaurant in the basement.

Elegant rooms include air conditioning, a safe, a choice of pillows, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom.
The hotel is 200 metres from Drassane Metro station and close to the Christopher Columbus column and La Rambla Street.

When we first arrived we got a very hot room that we couldn't even sleep. We changed the room next day and they were very friendly. Breakfast is so bad. Very small restaurant, very little options (specially if you're not a meat eater). The coffee machine is so bad as well.

Justito for a 4-star. Good location Staff very good.

It doubled its capacity a couple of years ago and in the old part they have renovated many things good location.

Great hotel in the perfect area. We had a balcony overlooking the square and could walk anywhere from there… Very Central to everything. Bed was very comfortable.

Room is good, bathroom is perfect. Very clean. Breakfast not super, croissaints not so fresh, toaster not working well, scrambled eggs are cold. But location is very fine, en the beds are good.

It's a very cozy hotel, room and bathrooms very clean, comfy beds. It is nice the staff, and it is advisable to stay.

Quiet Hotel. Impressive for its architecture. It has parking although not in the building. Friendly and helpful staff. A but the lack of products in the bathroom.

Well-decorated Hotel. Nice presentation. Comfortable and elegant apartments. Opposite a square and two blocks from the Rambla. Close to the cruise terminal. Good and abundant breakfasts. Varied meals. Spacious and complete bathroom. It's worth its four stars.

It was a very nice Hotel. I booked a family room (3 people) on their site. For 177 euros, we ended up in the double bed room with an extra bed while I had booked the room 3 people. The 401 is not famous, the curtains are patched, my daughter's bed cover was stained, the ceiling has touch-up and there is not even a kettle. And for the privacy, a bathroom and toilet with frosted glass in the bedroom room, this is not great. The bedding of a ibis in Barcelona is much better. Breakfast is not at the height of a 4 star. Coffee and tea are mediocre. The quality of the ingredients in general is mediocre except the bread and buns with sugar on it which are excellent. The hotel is very central, it's perfect. It is located in front of a multi parking facilities. The place is quiet even though there is a strong present at night Tramps. The reception is correct, the staff friendly but the baggage service is not systematic. On the other hand at the arrival we are asked to pay the accommodation fee.
I would not recommend at all this hotel for the price I paid.

Finally a hotel bathroom in Europe with a full glass shower door! Very comfortable beds, super clean, and friendly staff. I would definitely return when in Barcelona.

This is nice little place on the older part of Barcelona not too far from the port. The toiletries might be a little skimpy for most Americans. You're not too far from La Rambla market and so forth. A Jazz and Food festival occurred yesterday by the water.

Great area, very close to the Ramblas. Small rooms but nice showers. Breakfast was very basic and unimaginative we skipped it after the first day.

We used the hotel room only for sleeping and we also took breakfast elsewhere in the city. But the house is OK, at the reception all very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and big. We had an outside room — with an open window rather noisy from road traffic. For those who like quieter, it is better to book a room against the courtyard. The location is brilliant, centrally located near the Rambla and within walking distance of Barcelonette, the seafront promenade.
Tip: If you want to see as much of the city as possible in a short time and do not want to be constantly reliant on public transport, rent a bicycle. We rented an electric bike for 24 hours, was awesome fantastic what we have seen and experienced in this short time.

Lovely location by the port and spacious rooms. The building is beautiful and staff is lovely. There are plenty of Supermercats around which is lovely. The only bad thing is the lack of facilities. No kettle or hairdryer and the bathrooms that are still good are showing their age.

This hotel has its ups and downs and that's why I landed on 3 stars. The major upside to this place is that it's in a great location. Walking distance to the metro, La Rambla, Gothic Quarter, etc. As for the negatives, the room my girlfriend and I had was tiny! Barely enough room to set your stuff down. With a room so small, you'd think the room would cool down quickly with AC but it did not. We informed the front desk about the AC not working properly. They said they would investigate it but nothing changed and made for a challenging nights sleep. Didn't have the breakfast here so I can't comment on it. All in all, the place was ok but if I were to come back to Barcelona, I might choose somewhere else to stay.

The staff is helpful and friendly. The furniture is a little dated. At least in the room where I was.

Nice and clean rooms. Good staff. Don't rely on the breakfast offered, it is not that good except for the coffee. The location of the hotel worth it all!

They are unpresentable.
Me confundi by booking directly with them, I took a non-refundable fee and not wanting to duplicate my reservation. Immediately them send an email asking please that they Naboo, also got in touch with them and a very nice girl I can confirm that everything was solved.
My surprise?
The day of arrival charge us directly two rooms, when my booking is for one person. I tried to explain but impossible do not enter into reason. So that if someone is in my same situation please that get in contact with me because I claim it legally.

Air conditioning not working and staff can only say they're sorry. Noisy place bad sound proofing or rather no sound proofing at all.

Hotel in the historical and commercial centre of Barcelona. You can walk to everything and is very nice.

This hotel 4 * in the Centre of Barcelona has a great location at a great price.
