The location of the hotel is exceptional, entrance, lobby and reception of great architectural interest.
The rooms leave a bit to be desired, but they are fine all the same.

Beautiful building, super spacious, delicious and great breakfast, super friendly and super attentive staff, without a doubt if I return to Barcelona I will settle in it again, it is super central, if there is a bit of noise in the street, but it is normal… it is right in the middle of the Rambla, of course it is totally acceptable to hear a little noise in exchange for going out and having everything so close.

I don’t recommend this hotel. Reception desk staff is lying. After the booking they sent me the message confirming baby bed availability. After arrival, they said that they don’t have baby bed for me for the first night. Today is a second night. I don’t have baby bed in my room. Reception desk employee says that they didn’t promise baby bed. We have only 140cm wide bed in our room to sleep two adults with a baby. If you like lying staff, this is the place for you.

Fantastic place for trip to Barcelona. I was few times, and never other.

Not for business trips where plans could change that you have absolutely no control over. GSMA cancelled Mobile World Congress last minute on the world and this hotel refused any refunds on prepayment they collected! And rates were sky high for that period. I was not expecting 100% refund but NONE? Out of this incident my biggest mistake was choosing this hotel for a business trip!

This Las Ramblas room we paid extra for is very basic and noisier than the room we had on Broadway in New York!

The Hotel has the perfect location.
It's on the Las Ramblas street (the main street), 200-300 metres from Liceu metro station. The service was excellent, the rooms were nice and clean, the food was good and it's not so expensive compared to other hotels in the city.
Highly recommend!

Great location on La Rambla. Our Balcony looked out onto the busy street below, but was not noisy at night. Comfy beds and large bathroom. Last minute accommodations were not a problem. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Las Ramblas is right outside the hotel and the metro is a 2min walk making it super easy to get to anywhere in the city! Hotel room small but very nice and cozy ☺️ The water pressure for the shower is amazing!

Great hotel right in the centre of Las ramblas. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the busy street and despite other reviews, we never had a problem with the hustle and bustle. In fact we often slept with the balcony door open. We did miss having a kettle in the room but there are cheap coffee houses around which we used. Staff were absolutely fantastic and incredibly friendly helping out whenever we needed. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff. Excellent housekeeping. Very comfortable room with great shower two shower roses. Buffet breakfast was always fresh with a large variety and surprise extras. Staff was attentive which made it a special experience. The location could not have been better.

Very poor service.
We paid for a deluxe room with LA ramblas view. We got a room with LA ramblas view but the air conditioner was not working. After repeated complaints we were given a stand fan and told that AC will be repaired next morning.
Next morning the repair man did some changes but still the AC was not working. We told him but he said that that's the best he can do.
Then we asked to change the room. We were given a standard room instead of a deluxe room. The room was small and the toilet was pathetic.
After that when we wanted a complaint form the gentleman at the reception started fighting with us and he was drunk too. (Julio)
After paying for a deluxe room what we got was a small closet sized room and we have to accommodate because they can't do anything.
Bad bad bad service. Never book.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIRᴀven. Com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! It was the lovely kind staff that made this hotel so special! And we had a lovely room! Smashing place to stay in Barcelona and we will be back! Thank you all!

Great location in the centre of the Rambla close to the metro and bus transportation. Great breakfast Poor WI fi at least from our room cleaning enough.

We arrived Tuesday the 13th March and on arrival found the staff very friendly and welcoming. We found our room to be all that we expected. The beds in particular are very comfortable. We had to make amendments to our original booking. The staff who undertook this on our behalf were excellent. So good that we believe they deserve to be mentioned by name Fatou & Fernan. We can thoroughly recommend the Hotel. Margaret Dickinson.

Beautiful and cozy. Friendly staff. One thought just makes you happy that I lived in the hotel where Andersen lived.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is not bad, but you can eat for half a day. Cleaning in the room every day. Only in the room for four people there is no kettle, although in the same double is.

Arriving late 23:40 on Saturday 03/03/2018, receptionist super nice, price correct room very simpa nothing superfluous but everything was fine.

Very good Hotel. I was here with my girlfriend for 3 nights and I found it very good. Staff friendly and attentive to every request. Good quality European mixed breakfast. Clean, spacious, cozy rooms. I recommend to book the rooms with a view of the Rambla really deserves.

Excellent location, on the Rambla 2 minutes from the Metro (Liceu stop). Nice staff who also with the Italian language, quite comfortable rooms equipped with TV with only Spanish channels, bathroom with shower cabin without closure so watch not to throw water outside…, there is the hair dryer. Pillows too thin, we had to ask for two more. No bidet, but we are not in Italy…, lacked toilet brush and after a day still did not give it…, great breakfast, looks like a lunch, continental type (sweet and savory) and until 11, deserves a few euros more. I would recommend it.

The area is unbeatable. Some rooms overlook a construction site and there is noise at present but very kindly moved us to room.

This hotel in particular is all location. Everything else, well, it comes with the location. Good staff.

In addition to the hotel that quality price and located a 12. Very friendly and helpful staff. Especially a boy, Alexander. Super attentive Conmgo. That I was not missing anything, helped me to locate me recommending places to visit, to eat of 10, helped me find a way to get from the airport in a comfortable and economical way. I felt like a princess. I recommend this hotel to anyone who goes on a sporadic, holiday or work trip. In fact I have come so glad that I return in two months:)

Nice Hotel of classic atmosphere renovated. It maintains its structure and decoration that transports you to another era. Very well located for anyone who wants to visit Barcelona and be in one of its most popular streets.

Barcelona: This hotel is about location. For that, it gets 10 stars. Everything else, well, comes with the location. Very warm welcoming helpful staff. Very powerful water to the shower. Spacious room. But it's tired looking. No tea, coffee, and only Russian propagandist TV in English. But get out of the room and explore. The real downside to the perfect location: the noise. The 3am bin lorry emptying, the street swilling, the drunken tourists. If you need 8 hours, go somewhere less central and tube in. I'd stop here again.

Amazing! Location — great! Right near the center, but not to much Room — we had a room with a balcony to the ramblas street, couldn't hear any noise when the window was closed! It was clean and ery accommodating Staff — the nicest I ever encountered! Always with a smile and a good tip where to visit/eat/go out at night Price — great compared to what we received. Highly recommended!

Great hotel with amazing staff. They all looked after us really well and catered for all our needs. I would certainty stay there again.

Photos lie and so do reviews. We were greeted by bikes being repaired in the small lobby. The staff is nice enough and room clean but do not be fooled. This is a hostel. Renovations are sub par. Sink did not drain, rotted baseboards and floors, safe was broken. Horrible paint job and cracked loose tiles everywhere. Food was ok. Stay not worth the price. After 8 pm watch your wallet and kids. Street walkers and junkies all over the place. A. C. Is good and location easy to get around. Very loud but it was expected. Perfect for college kids but not families with kids. Not a 3 star hotel at all.

Rooms are dated and not very well equipped, plenty of hot water for a shower thou. The hotel itself is nice and clean and its in a great location for plenty of life down the La Rambla. Beds where made everyday so no real complaints to be honest, its an old building in the of part of the city.

Good service and nice rooms. The location is superb since it's in the La Rambla street. Ordered breakfast and there was no problem with getting glutenfree bread. But they could have marked the food with allergies, would have made it more convenient. Overall a good stay! Would stay here again.

The hotel was perfectly located, in the center of the city on the Ramblas. There are a lot of supermarkets, restaurants, shops, etc. On walking distance. Plaça Catalunya and it's metro station was about a short 10 minutes walk, metro station Liceu is 3 minutes walk as also Mercat de Bocaderia. Further at the other side of the Ramblas you can walk into Plaça Reial. A nice place with a lot of good restaurants. The room was clean, first floor with a view on the Ramblas. The st…aff was helpful, the room was cleaned every day and every day clean towels. The Ramblas was a bit noisy in the evening and at night, but that was no problem for us. Otherwise you have to choose another room. It is the Ramblas of Barcelona. Why should you change the room. It was nice to stay there with a nice view of the famous Ramblas from the balcony. Breakfast was from 07:00 till 11:00 o'clock, it was normal but tastefull and good, no complaints. In short, we have had a great time at the Orient Atiram Hotel and recommend it to everybody who wants to visit Barcelona!

Retro ambience and spacious rooms the highlight. A little less soundproofing… Convenient location right on the Rambla.

Hotel right on the Rambla. Centrally located, close to Metro Liceu, you can visit Barcelona and the historical centre comfortably on foot. Popular area, many locals nearby. Great choice for breakfast, sweet or savory. Vintage style rooms, good cleanliness. They speak Italian and are very helpful. One afternoon with some friends we were soaked in the rain and asked if we could go up to the room to dry even with them and we were satisfied. I recommend this hotel.

Very good value hotel, modern feel and the best location!

Well placed very helpful staff spotless room.

Our hotel experience wasn't the greatest, already at the reception the kindness was scarce, we booked a room for the disabled, but it was a arrabattata, with old beds, no closet, no shower Chair, non-compliant vessel for the disabled. For breakfast was just lounge access with steps, so we had to beg the help of wait staff or guests to sign in with your wheelchair. For more with breakfast. Advice for disabled people don't choose this hotel.

The air condition didn't work.

Its in a good place, but in Barcelona you can find better places.

Generally an OK experience, nothing outstanding or terrible. Safe in the room was broken and the building seemed incredibly hot. But everything was clean and the staff were friendly.

Watch out for hotel concierges/buttons… They will try to call a taxi to be able to charge you a fee €8, better go out and catch it on the Ramblas so won't take you hair hotel buttons.

Very basic, but excellently situated.

Stayed in a 3 bed family room during short stay. Furniture pretty knackered and the air conditioning was awful. Plenty other good hotels to choose on the Ramblas so only go if you're desperate.

Accidentally entered 11 days instead of 1 day when making the reservation through Expedia. Was a typo. Husa Oriente refused to refund over $1, 200. Expedia did nothing. Hotel staff was rude and obnoxious (as many other reviewers have mentioned). Definitely better, newer, friendlier and less expensive places to stay on Las Ramblas. Do NOT stay here or consider yourself warned.

The room was quite Ok although not too clean – beds were not of a good quality and a very foul smell that came from the waterpipes in the bathroom. We had to open the windows for the bad smell. The curtains need to be washed urgently they were not white but grey! Wi-Fi was a disaster most of the time internet kept dropping although the hotel promotes Wi-Fi on the internet site Breakfast on Sunday was rather basic and that for a price of 13.00 Euro per person. Except there was no orange juice at 9:00 am only the very sweet pineapple juice. But on top of that when yesterday morning we checked out at 06:45 we saw 2 breakfasts were charged on our bill. As we were not aware that the breakfast was only served at 07:00 we ordered them in advance when booking the room. We told them we could not take it because we had to catch a flight at 09:00. Hotel could not take out the 2 breakfasts for the amount of 26.00 Euro because the chef receptionist only started around 09:00. It is really very expensive for something we did receive and unfair. Keep in mind that it will be the last time we will book a room in one of your Husa group hotels. Only positive thing is that the hotel is well situated on the Ramblas.

Initial room smelled of mildew and no air conditioning. Moved to nicer room with air but the leg of one of the beds broke and they were spo. Taneous in repairing. Patio door lock broken. Unable to provide electric adapter.

A gem in a landmark. Some friends were staying there, and I was able to visit him inside with detail. How much history. And in the middle of Las Ramblas. My friends famous.

The location is good, but everything else is medium or medium. My room was not clean, especially the bathroom, the Wi-Fi didn't work, the staff is totally unprofessional and rude. If you are in a business trip and you live in a city and not a village really, need Internet connection. I asked her several times about the bad connection and your answer was OK. So what.

Avoid rooms 101-107 (these are the old ones) during booking, voices of streetwalking (in front of the hotel) attain to some rooms until early morning, never let the reception call a cab for you (much more expensive), everybody is able too see from outside if your key is placed at reception desk and no security personal in front of the door (but the hotel is situated besides the police station).

The hotel has is best situation, then the employees they crave for your convenience, the hotel is a bit old as well as the rooms, in the mine there was no mini bar service when
so me it had indicated.
