We loved Barcelona city centre, delicious Breakfast. The ratio of price and quality on 5. The rooms are small, but it is an old city and the architecture does not change.

Hotel very well located, good bed and bedding. Second visit in this hotel, first time no worries despite a small window overlooking a courtyard. Second time, a small window on the courtyard is also a wet room where the cockroaches big and small are complaisaient. Usually they hide but they are invited on the bed. I had to throw one in the toilet. In a big city, the cockroaches, it is normal. But it must be infested, so that they are not hiding not even. Has desinsectiser as soon as possible!

The rooms are functional but not very comfortable, the furniture is old and worn out. The air conditioning is in common with the whole floor so it is very cold or very hot. Minimal breakfast. I only recommend it for the location.

Amazing stay. Wish could stay longer. Right on the heart of la rambla.

To avoid! Despite the pleasant welcome room awful You could only open the window of the room which was blocked by the cupboard, without a view to the outside and the window of the bathroom was blocked we go back in the night… a cockroach walks under my bed…
Horrible bedding with mattresses of 15 cm hard as concrete, fortunately we stayed only 2 nights because we very little slept the walls are very thin, bad soundproofing the maids disrespectful in papotant so strong in the hallways soon 6:30 in the morning!
Breakfast very average with croissants of poor quality, not even bread baguette, milk less than lukewarm short apart from the politeness to the reception and the location next to the Ramblas I advise you strongly!

Wonderful, location spectacular, clean and nice I was from 4/4/18 to 9/4/18 staff extremely friendly totally recommend would return thank you for having spent great.

Very good location in the beautiful Gothic quarter of Barcelona. Meters from the Rambla to one side and meters from the town hall to the other.

Excellent experience and I highly recommend. The rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable located in the center of downtown. Only 10 min walk to the port. Shops food and bars just outside the door. The staff are friendly and helpful. 24 hour reception desk. We had a street view with balcony looking out over the pedestrian street below. The rates are more than reasonable. We will stay here again without question.

The location and the staff were very helpful. What they would have Q improve is cleanliness.

Hay cucaracha! Location is the only good part. I tried to add this to the trip adviser but they told be I could write after about 3 months. The room “seemed clean” at first, but the sheets are quite itchy for some reason and I dont know if u could actually call this clean. I just hope they are not bed bugs… I also found roaches in the room so… I would not say more. I found this out in the middle of the night so there was nothing the reception could do, plus the guy after midnight doesnt speak english. Not even un poco… they didnt even give the insecticide thing… I wrote about how the location is the only good and the downside of the hotel. Its great walking distance from most tourist attractions, but then again the narrow alleys are a bit sketchy, and it is full of 3Ps in the night. Pickpockets, prostitutes and I dont remember the other P but hobos as well… u just name it! I just hope to change the room or get a refund… I was not able to sleep the whole night : (

Excellent location, clean hotel and easily accessible by public transport. Double room Quite small (11m2) overlooking the 2 streets (so very noisy even after 11pm as lively area) and impossible to sleep after 8am, the housekeeping staff being very noisy also. Stair service inaccessible, would have been a problem in case of fire… It is an ideal hotel if you have a small budget and you do big days of sightseeing!

Would be much better rated if we were not woken up by the housekeeping staff at… 6:30 in the morning… You read it.

A very good location and a very friendly deal made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms are not a marvel but they do their job. The breakfast was very good. Overall a good experience.

Small rooms, did not get the sign of the Wi-Fi to me room. Cleanliness is bad we found a dead cockroach half room. It's in a very boisterous place.

I like the location of the hotel. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, especially Marcus. Room was good size and clean. Breakfast is basic and simple but good. Overall I'm happy with the hotel and their service.

The only pleasant part of our stay at Hotel Adagio was the location. The temperature, controlled by the front desk for each floor, was inconsistent and set in either extreme. The Wi-Fi was spotty and never reliable, which caused an inconvenience for travelers relying on that for access to maps, etc. The lobby and 'restaurant' part of the hotel always had a very unpleasant odor, and because of this, we never cashed in on our complimentary tapas, as to avoid sitting down there for a long period of time. To top it all off, we got home from vacation and realized we have beg bug bites all over! Disgusting. Again, the location was great, but I would recommend looking into other choices close by.

Great location, cheerful welcoming staff! The hotel if located in Gothic quarter, just off la Rambla street, a quite busy street with tourists and party goers. The staff was quite welcoming at our arrival and helped explain everything in detail. The hotel has 24 hours reception desk. They also provided sleeping cot for infant. Breakfast was quite simple, no eggs or meat. There were some corners in the bathroom that were a bit rusted so a bit eyesore but everything was working fine. Just a refurbishment is due.

Excellent location, convenient to the city center and the main streets and attractions, buffet breakfast in standard, rooms in normal, clean and renovated in the environment. The staff was very helpful.

It is very next to Rambla steeet. And people working here are very kind.

We stayed st the adagio last week for 3 nights — we arrived in the morning and was told there had been a mix up and we didn't have a room in the hotel, but could stay opposite in one of their apartments. The apartment was big and spacious and clean however overlooked the Main Street so was very noisy at night and the curtain didn't close properly so was bright too. Made sleeping very hard. We also had to ask for maid service and clean towels etc. The staff however were kind and helpful. Brilliant lively city, but you need a good sleep to be able to enjoy it to the full. Would recommend getting some shutters and black out blinds. Would recommend the hotel and the perfect location.

I did not like this hotel. The citia, very people. In la notte is very people and tráficando. No balcony. Don't go to this hotel! The breakfast is 07.00 — 09.00 of the pres midí. The baguette, coffee, suco of orange, croissants… The staff is very friendly. The chef with the tea pot. And caps. No Wi-Fi? Close to Picasso Museum. In the Ramblas.

Very very good hotel; Downtown; not clean; super clean; economical; and a customer service; with Joseph in the spectacular reception and excellent food with a very nice chef… I would not hesitate to choose this hotel if you are in doubt! Recommended 100% (Ronconi Mikael)

Really bad Hotel: (or appearances of the evening restaurant)
-unfähiges and UNFRIENDLY Pack (called also human resources)
-Breakfast with cheapest ingredients + extra costs for hot food and bad coffee of an Italian machine
-Elevator where you thanked God again to be able to get off
-Extremely good House
-Rooms & accommodation bed was old and worn, a very shaky affair, no place in the bathroom but main thing is still in there so nen weird bidet
-Bottle of water in the room costs 12 euro (because is donated to any aid project is certainly the taxes to push)
I can recommend it anyone in any case to spend a night here.

We have shipped in an apartment on the other side of the street so more than Wi — Fi, nice but if two small tapas offered sangria of accompaniment is charged €15 both anyway! And € 110 per night! …

Cheap, clean and great location.

Pros:
-Very good location.
-Very large rooms to be in the old quarter.
-Breakfast buffet and dinner of tapas but filling, all very rich.
-Except the receptionist who is daily in the mornings, the rest were very friendly and pleasant.
-The last day care you your luggage until you go.
Cons:
-The ceiling of the bathroom need a repaint. But the room is great and good.
-The receptionist who had the morning daily is enough edge. As if you debieses money.
-We had a concert and dinner is from 7:30 to 23:00, we had to dine on our own. We asked the recepcionista-borde and repudiated it entirely to ask the head of the dining room to take a snack. That Yes, we were offered a meal / dinner before going, but it was too late.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The accommodations are simple but very good and very clean! The location is very good, near the Liceu metro station (green line) that allows you to get around efficiently. But the big difference is the care of the front desk people. They are all very polite, cheerful, kind and always ready to guide you and help! I stayed 3 days and 4 nights! I would return to host me and indicate that hotel for people.

Excellent location of the Hotel in the Gothic quarter, with a very professional and efficient service. With tapas restaurant in the lobby, AdagioTapas, chef Jordi Herrera, tops of copyright which are a real surprise for that has not tried them yet. And once the tests you want to repeat. The chef is awarded with one star Michelin restaurant Manairó. In short very good relation quality / price for this Hotel that will be in short gastronomic reference in the city.

Our room was broken into and money stolen. The hotel keeps the key when you're out, so it could have been staff or, as they claim, it could have been a "guest" at the hotel picking locks and taking money. When we first reported it to the front desk, they said they couldn't believe it had happened again, it had been going on for days, and then immediately changed their story when I got mad as they knew that rooms were being broken into and didn't warn guests. Unacceptable. This hotel is unsafe and the staff dishonest. Don"t stay here!

If you pay cash you don't get the receipt immediately, promising to deliver it the next day. After 2 days they tell you that you didn't pay the room because you don't have a receipt. This is scam. The rooms are dirty and the bathroom doesn't even have 2 sachets of shower gel provided. Bad breakfast with broken orange juice machine and waffle coffee.

We were bitterly disappointed. Hallway and room were cramped and dingy, No ventilation, no a/c just a window to the air shaft which stank so it was hard to sleep. Breakfast limited, but coffee was good.
