Beautiful parador in front of the castle of Oropesa. Spacious rooms with cozy beds and a large pool to cool off on hot summer days. Good breakfast with very good cold cuts and local cheeses. Free parking and super friendly staff at the reception.

My family and I just spent a couple of days in this Parador, the experience has been amazing, the staff is lovely, the treatment with the children is very affectionate and attentive, the rooms very spacious and cozy, the spectacular setting and the pool is perfect, the only bad thing I could say is that there were many wasps around the pool glass but everything is very well taken care of. For now for us it is the Parador that we liked the most. Thank you so much for these two days!

We've been spending a couple of days at this Parador. We wanted a Parador with pool less than 2 hours from Madrid, and the truth, it was a triumph! It has privileged views, the rooms are spacious, the air conditioning works very well (right now there are 40 degrees, first heat wave of this summer), the water pressure of the shower, something that I always keep in mind in all the hotels, perfect! The pool was very nice, there were quite a few families, with warrior children, but it was very good. We leave VERY happy with this stay, we will most likely repeat.

Great parador. Large, quality bedrooms. Extraordinary views from the dining room. Just an hour and a half from Madrid. And, as usual, friendly service. Strongly recommended.

It is worth going to visit, near the exit A5 of the highway, you only have to divert for a few minutes. It's an old palace, beautiful. The hotel is very nice and the restaurant is very good. Moderate price.

Historic place to stay. Spacious rooms with carefully decorated. Salons of exquisite taste. Free parking both inside and outside the Parador. Chapel in ground floor access from inside, where was San Pedro de Alcántara.

Pretentious and upscaled. The place is beautiful though.

What can I say? I just want to go back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is simply magical. I'm still spellbound remembering the halls where, every time I went in or out of the room, I discovered a wonderful new detail.

Perfect for a stop on the road. Visit the castle, have a drink in the cafeteria and contemplate the views from the Parador. The village has many other charming places. If you have some time it is recommended to stroll through its historic quarter. The Parador is part of the emperor's route.

A beautiful place but it has lowered a lot of quality in the meals. The price of the castle is paid. A very special place.

The building is a very charming castle. The attention is good as you would expect from a Parador. The rooms are a bit old though the bed is good.

This is our third time staying in this beautiful medieval town. The residents are warm and accommodating. As for the Parador, it is part of a castle with all the charms thereof. The staff is beyond excellent, the rooms clean and comfortable. We will continue to return and explore this amazing part of Spain.

Beautiful Parador located in a watchtower located at the top of the village of its own name. It is a fantastic building with some halls that attract attention. It has stunning views overlooking the plain at the front and a gun yard inside the enclosure that transport you to medieval times. The kitchen like that of all the paradores, in its restaurant they serve typical meals very well elaborated of the area where the Parador is located and the spacious and spacious rooms. Recommended.

Like all the Paradores, it is located in a privileged and historical place. In our visit we could only enjoy the restaurant, the cafeteria and the visit to the stays of the same, and the truth a luxury. It has good parking area. The restoration the typical of the paradores, neither more nor less. What if we liked it was the deal we received by the staff. We will return to enjoy it as guests.

The day did not accompany us. But the lovely Parador their lounges and the comfortable room. The shower bath a little cramped.

Main dining room overlooking the Sierra de Gredos. There is also an indoor dining room and another in the balconies to the castle courtyard. The kitchen cared for but too classic. The price in accordance with the place. We go every time we're in the area. It's a pleasure to eat and sleep there.

Quiet place. Nice restaurant. Recomend to take a guide visit to Oropesa.

Charming, historic, castle on the foundation of the creation of the villa of Oropesa its magnificent views to the Shire of La Vera and the background the Sierra make it a unique place in a unique location on the edge of the border between Toledo and Cáceres.

Definitely one of my favorite places to stay in all of Spain. It is always process affordably and the rooms are fantastic, large and historically decorated. Last time we stayed in the tower room and really enjoyed the views in all directions. Located for great day trip access to Madrid, Toledo, Avila, Segovia, and many other great sites. Don't miss dinner in the plaza at one of the several good bars.

Muy buena situacion, mi habitación fue la 508, me encanto tanto el sitio como el ambiente como medieval que tenia. La habitación muy limpia y eñ desayuno buffet increible, aparte que desayunamos en una terraza mirando la sierra, insuperable.

A parador is a charming and recommended for children to go and visit the castle. Staff excellent and always very attentive. We will return.

January 2016: A wonder of the Parador. Really nice and good conditioning. This is the first time that I visit and has become of my house favorites. And Oropesa town and its surroundings deserve a visit from the weekend. Do not forget to visit the Bridge of the Archbishop in the evening.

And magical place with lots of charm. The rooms are stunning. We eat very well in the restaurant of the Parador.

Amazing building. Food is terrible. Served straight from microwave and very expensive for what you get. The signature dessert is a horrible. You will enjoy the Parador but avoid the restaurant dinner and breakfast.

They have changed the menu if you eat 2 dishes with drinks no less than 45 euros per person A scam.
