Basic but clean rooms and a limited but well-prepared buffet for breakfast.

Very good hotel, excellent café with a historic terrace with remains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Very good hotel, quiet and clean. From the window of the room you can see beautiful views of the cathedral. At reception they always serve you with a smile. When I get back to Salamanca, I'll be back at this hotel.

The best thing about it is the location in the heart of Salamanca. The room we got was small and the bathroom cleanliness could have been better. The cleaners were making a lot of noise from quite early on. Wi-Fi wasn't going so well. To have a loose day is not bad but the truth is that I do not think it would repeat.

Really nice location in the center of the town, nice building and just the common commodities offered for a Hotel. Lack of parking is a really big con.

A shame the attention and the organization.
3 months Ago We have a reservation confirmed several times for the graduation dinner and 5 days from the date we are told that there is not enough space; They don't give us any explanation and we hang up the phone in bad ways.
Obviously not recommended at all.

Very good hotel to spend a couple of days in Salamanca. This is located very close to the center and has incredible views of the historic buildings of Salamanca.

Very nice site, that if you do not come in a hurry or hungry because we have more than 1 hour at the table waiting to bring something to eat.

Staff just right. The rest of 10. I asked for views and I got the best, room (something small) and bathroom, clean and cared for. Close to areas of interest. It has a cafeteria outside in the ruins of the old church that gives it name, very nice (a shame that was closed). Hard to find free parking nearby.! If I go back to Salamanca, I will love staying at this hotel!

Good location and could be a really nice hotel but: — cleanliness leaves to be desired: dust everywhere and in the bathroom we found remnants of the previous room users in the bidet… — The walls of the room are broken, full of holes and stained — there's not a minimum of soundproof rooms, practically you live in common with the neighboring rooms, including the one upstairs. The flush of another room is a waterfall that wakes you up in the middle of the night.
— The room cleaning starts very early, and for the reason in the previous point it seems that they are making a move, considering that to be able to redo the beds must physically shift them.

One of the best hotels I have been to, behind some paradores, I asked for height and views, I had an impressive picture of the cathedral. They have been able to combine beauty, antiquity and restoration with touches of modernity. Freckle a fair bit in space just 40 centimeters on both sides of the bed, and ninety feet. Cleaning and care belongings. Close to the ideal historical centre. Difficult free parking nearby. I would stay again.

Hotel that knew better times and needs updating. The perfect cleanliness the attention of the employees as well, but the facilities; Doors, lift, bathrooms, hangers, closets etc… need updating or refurbishment. Although it lacks parking, the best is its situation and surroundings at the foot of the wall of Salamanca and very close to the historical center. Recommended price for two people for quality price… no more than €60 without breakfast. Breakfast costs €10 per person and at 50 meters you can have a better breakfast for 3, €50 in a cafeteria or take a few churros in a churreria.

We are currently and it is fantastic, at the first dinner we were attended phenomenal, a super professional education, atmosphere and hotel theme very good and the views great, is very well located, cleanliness good.

Paper walls. Several dinners in the restaurant were heard from the room and more when they went out to the street. Even more of the 2am there was no more noisy fuss. Reception said he couldn't do anything. Impossible to sleep.

It's okay to sleep. The staff are very friendly and very clean. It is 700 meters from the cathedral. Downtown. All at hand and good price.

Hotel San polo it is a good hotel on salamanca. It is near of cathedral and only 5 minutes walking from plaza mayor. It os a comfortable hotel.

We stayed here on the occasion of a weekend visit. Central, quiet and comfortable. Spacious and clean rooms. Good quality-price. Recommended.

So much noise and the wall was made of paper. We could hear the phone ring in the lobby from our room. Street noise plus people in the bar. Could not sleep at all but was walking distance to tourists attraction and staff was very friendly.

In Salamanca near the best places, beautiful view of the cathedral, fine attention good price. My house in Salamanca.

Stayed for a few nights. The beds are comfy and clean, the bathrooms much the same. The hotel is located very close to Salamanca's historic city centre, and in a historic building itself. Haven't tried the restaurant/café, but if you'd rather go around town for food, there's plenty to find. We booked in advance, so it was pretty cheap, especially for the quality we got! However, during check-in the staff spoke no English at all. That is probably not true for *all* staff, though.

In the restaurant takes food in served and served me a bad fish.

I attended a graduation dinner with my career mates. Service was fairly correct and menu was of a really good quality. The only con was the fact that we had to pay 9.50€ for additional wine bottles, nevertheless, the place was remarkably acceptable overall.

Good place for drinks, quiet and cheap. Service was a bit slow, but overall it was a good experience.

Very good location (5 minute walk from the Centre), easy parking without paying, clean and spacious rooms and a restaurant and Café very good at affordable prices. Totally recommended.
Oh, and views of the Cathedral from the rooms!

We are a couple from Barcelona we were 6 nights (from 5 to November 11). The hotel is ideally located with excellent views. Room commensurate with the price. Apart from this, staff of reception was lousy, reaching the point of having to file a claim sheet in the provincial Council of Castilla León. Problems with the desk lamp, which did not work ever, and that after saying it 4 times from the moment of arrival, fixed the last day of stay. Problems with the closing of the door of the room, which could be opened without card, leaving open. This happened on three occasions. To communicate it at the front desk, we were told that as this problem no one did not, we could leave it as is until reached maintenance, which we refuse to do. Fails the third time and after tell us that we just passed us, we decided to put claim that us was not provided until we pay and we speak with the Director. Reception staff not in accordance with the location of the hotel or in the city.

We were celebrating a graduation at this establishment and it was a not very pleasant experience. Poorly cooked food (I ate a tasteless rice and supergrasienta flesh) and lousy service (did us raise his hand to take it controls it and know how many people ate one or another dish). In the end we will not return and it would not recommend anyone.

Excellent price value ratio. The very well equipped room, all the amenities of a hotel three stars, excellent breakfast and incredibly wonderful tapas. Friendly staff, attentive and respectful. Excellent place to meet that great city jewel of Europe.

Good location, in a quiet to rest and close to both the Center and all the historical part. Rooms are not very spaces, but bathroom is complete and of good quality. TV is perfectly placed for viewing from the bed and there is Wi-Fi open since there are no buildings around.
The views to the Cathedral are another point in favour: privileged. As for the personal service is very friendly. It is advisable to return.

Stayed in August and the truth, I loved the place.
Positive: It is located very close to the old town, but at the same time as enough paragraph from the noise of the city nights, which are very noisy.
Clean, very well conditioned bath with jacuzzi and hydro-massage shower, a fabulous view of the Cathedral and very friendly staff.
Negative: They have Wi-Fi. But the signal is very weak.

I stayed here for a night in October 2007. Great Location, but the lobby and restaurant were full of smoke, which is expected, but our non smoking room reeked of cigarettes also since it was just above the lobby. And talk about rude employees. I speak spanish and still they gave us bad attitude. Won't spend my money here again.
