Very good quality price, hostel very well located and very nice and understanding staff.

Habitaciones: pequeñas, camas infames (somier que estoy convencido que es una tabla de madera) incómodas hasta dolor de espalda y almohadas de papel de fumar. Puertas y paredes lamentables que dejan pasar todo tipo de ruidos. Baño: Pequeño sería ser generoso, sentarse en el WC mientras pegas con las rodillas en la pared. Bañera pintada (y mal), poca presión de agua. Acceso: largos y estrechos pasillos y sin acceso por ascensor. Ubicación buena y limpieza correcta, además se ve intención (eso sí insuficiente) de que las habitaciones estén decoradas. No vale la pena hospedarse mientras las camas sean así de infames (aún estoy recuperándome del dolor de espalda que me han dado), estoy convencido que el mendigo que está frente el hostal no dormiría en el ni gratis.

We left the hotel for 8€ 2 nights thanks to an auction, the experience is like living in a castle of terror, the bed was dirty and full of hairs as was the bathroom. The only good thing is that it is central and has TV and Wi-Fi.

Cheap price in a room with balcony to the avenue. Wifi. Television. Close to the bus station. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is a little small but they put towels and soap. He's got heat. And an elevator QE takes you to the first floor. It has a beverage and food machine. The downside is that the cleaning lady comes in without warning in the rooms, so she doesn't feel safe and the parquet floor moves. On the balcony are the pigeons making necessities and the silicone in the bathroom is falling apart.

Very outdated hostel. Very outdated facilities, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The room in which I was smaller and not even in the bed. An excessively soft bed and pillow. The rooms are so poorly soundproofed that you hear rooms from other plants. For my part inadvisable.

Lovely little hostel with nice staff and right at the center of Salamanca. I'd come back anytime!

It is the most cheapie of those in Salamanca and has the basics you need to spend the night room and bathroom clean no noise at night and decent bed.

The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. They also have blankets in case you are chilly, in general this good quality-price.

It's a little old, but clean.

Very small bathrooms without soap n nor glass. The best thing that is pretty central. Smells something like tobacco smoke. For the price you can not ask for more. Nice staff. La Almihada de Oens.

Very good value for money Perfect for young people or to see Salamanca Express.
It is true that the rooms are somewhat narrow, but it is a hostel, more you can not ask for… If you already want to have good views, or better qualities to pay more.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We went to the hostel through leisure auction for 2 days, this way it goes economic, but nothing else to get to the room we were quite disappointed in comparison with other auctions won.
The place is very old, furniture and bed in bad condition, super small bathroom (1 square meter), no receptionist from the afternoon. The only positive thing is their situation, and the heating. The worst of the whole bathroom. I'm not going back to that place.

A simple room, pretty good for how cheap it is!
The location was great and the staff were very friendly.

Being close to many of the city's main attractions gives this place a star. Reception is nice. They should replace the door locks as some of them still required bit keys. The key to open the door to get in doesn't even work well. They don't have an elevator so you have to carry your luggage upstairs till you get to your room. Something they should add is a water dispenser.

It's a hostel so my expectations were low but it was very outdated. Also, the walls were very thin. We heard everything from the room next door… everything!

The Hostal Mindanao was a real find and as good as anywhere that I have stayed at the price. It is handily placed for the bus station and the major sights of Salamanca. Initially I had shared facilities and asked to be moved when an en suite became available. This happened and I was helped with the move. It is clean and with character. Wi-fi is available and 24hr reception with very helpful staff. I will stay there again when I visit this remarkable city.

Furniture and essential spaces, decently clean rooms, very nice and decorated, great location.
The room may look small but for the price and for the tourist activity it is really perfect. The staff was very helpful Recommended.

I wouldn't come back for free, cleaning none, shit comes out the door, the reception closes at night, the duvets haven't washed with stains in months and they stink… the bathroom … worse than you can imagine…

Best location posible at Salamanca, good room and good service.

It is very cheap and ok for that. The recieption is friendly but does not understand a word english. Parts of the guests are there for party.

Rooms very hot, very simple decoration, paper walls and heard everything. But to stay claims (which is what we wanted) are okay.

Painful. You hear all the time to staff and conversations that keep is not comfortable. There is no lift and if you get a room on the third floor for example you're lost… The floor creaks and seems to be to break, all a disaster. Not I return more to a site as well, or hope that I do not cheat.

Hostal very normalito pero has good price and is less than 5 minutes from the Plaza Mayor, so it may be a good choice when you come visit and you don't want to spend much money.

Super shabby, the bathroom tiny, a plate d shower in which neither't fit, the water or t fit legs, anything q see with the photos posted by the hostel.

Good value for money. Clean and quiet. Walking distance to sites, restaurants and bars. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Would definetely recommend.

A little seedy, but it was not bad for the price, about€ 15 per person. Clean, but the beds are pretty bad. Well located 10 min from the centre.

After much searching we found this hostel that had, in principle, good looking but nothing more than enter the room began our disappointment. Did not look like our room to the one in the picture, the bathroom tiny, the shower in a loft and the bed very uncomfortable. And even though this is not the fault of the hostel there are also that say. There was a lot of noise at all hours. Sunday from 9 in the morning, that looked like a flea market, everyone shouting through the corridors and up had dogs barking out of control. The only positive you have is your location. In 5 minutes you plants in the center of Salamanca, but your back will thank you for it that you can walk 5 minutes and go to sleep in a hotel in conditions.

I am a regular customer of the Hostal Mindanao. I am going to test periodically to Salamanca, I went to another hostel but I didn't because everything was very old and a companion of studies recommended me this hostel which was where she was going. The truth is that I feel at home. I like the site where is located because it is to me very close to the University and in the evening we can get out of gear and everything closely. But what brings me back to this place is the treatment of persons who care for you and the comfort of the rooms, are simple but very cozy and clean and are very outstanding details, for example in my last trip coincided my birthday and it was a surprise when the exam again and me had bought a cake. At last! When these outside the home alone and someone cares about you it is welcomed. I certainly think that the important thing is not luxury but the simplicity, clean and friendly and I have found that in the Hostal Mindanao. As well as of course my recommended it to me I do it because I think is a good hostel. I am including this hostel.

For my work travel a lot to Salamanca, was not all pleasure, there was too much noise in the corridors at three in the morning, children running and screaming through the halls. In the room the feast of our neighbour room was heard, the taps of washbasins and bathtubs sound orchestral way more the sound of cleaning brushes, more cars and ambulances from the street noise. Sleep is a chaotic symphony. It is best to sleep in the Park which is opposite, at least you don't have to pay.
Hostal exaggerate its facilities, the room and the bathroom is very small. For the world of Gnomes, it is perfect. Not to mention the locker room is a light broom.
Good thing everything beside the hostel there is a hospital so they give you a pill for disgust. I had to change from hostel.

It is far from the Cathedral, the University and the Convento de Los Dominicos. The rooms are very small and the building is very old. No parking is available at the door of the hostel, this fully fenced with difficult access. I changing hotel for the central area of Los Domínicos, where I found several very good and new hotels as San Polo, the Meliá Las Claras, El Cuzco hostel, the Tryp, the albatross and the AC.

We have been spending the end of the year in Salamanca and we have hosted us at the Hostal Mindanao. Exceptional is the first hostel offering you a free coffee with pastries while admission to the hostel. Makers of the place are great really made us feel a family these days.
The room was nicely decorated to be a City Hostel and which we liked a lot is having a policy of environmental protection. We draw attention that staff carries t-shirts with slogan and reciblan all waste.
In general we feel great there also are very well located, without hesitation we will return again. Greetings to the Mindanao.

Hostal since I've been in many price and best, but I have to say that it was clean and smelled well, bad is the street because much listening to cars at any time, something good that have Wi-Fi but is low almost just in the reception centre, bath have to reform it because it is tiny and outdated, by the other stairs are rather heavy, and the owners of the guesthouse are very friendly, and gentle.
