I love this hotel! A Marriott Design hotel, located just inside the city walls, easy 8 min walk to the plaza Mayor, views of the cathedral and universidad de Salamanca, includes luscious buffet breakfast and made to order hot dishes, friendly upbeat staff and a pool with a view to boot.

Hotel totally recommended in any type of stay in Salamanca. But above all highlight and thank the possibility of allowing travel with a pet. In our case it is essential that it is pet friendly. And sometimes it's hard to find hotels like that, and even more so in their category. My sincere congratulations and thanks.

Beautiful hotel very close to the old town and Cathedral. Nice room, amazing breakfast. Garden and swing pool have views of the cathedral. Parking in the hotel grounds 15 eu per day.

Shameful that follow open a hotel of this category with all that is going on. Their workers don't matter a shit. It is better to want employees healthy and out of danger, not the greed of the foot thermo money and if you have a reservation CANCELS. You are going to decree a State of alarm, but to continue plundering all that you can't?

Perfect in every way. Beautiful hotel, excellent staff who go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and make you feel that you matter. Cannot fault this hotel in any way. Food was outstanding — gorgeous dinner in magnificent restaurant. Have never seen a more extensive breakfast buffet plus you have a selection of hot food as well. Even went out this morning to warm up the car for us. Will definitely be back.

Excellent place to stay in Salamanca! The style of the city history is preserved and gets you in the mood without losing comfort.

This is a nice property in the heart of old town, but the management clearly doesn’t care about the guests. Everyone was nice and trying to do their best, but the hotel’s considerably understaffed for the number of guests. Upon arrival, we were informed the restaurant was fully booked for dinner. We were tired from the trip, and my mother wasn’t feeling well, so we opted for the room service menu, which it turned out consisted mostly of sandwiches. It later turned out the restaurant was booked for a wedding party, whose noise we had to listen to well into the night. When we asked about it at the reception desk, we were informed that the music will continue until 2am. We knew nothing about it when making the reservation. The rooms are clean, but tiny – you walk straight into the bed – and the sound-proofing is non-existent, so you’re free to enjoy all of your neighbors’ conversations.

A friend held his wedding there. The place is nice, especially the patio where they served the appetizer. The staff was attentive and very friendly.

We had a phenomenal stay in Salamanca in a beautiful city in a georgeous hotel. Hospes Palacio San Esteban is a beautiful hotel with first class services and amenities. Had a great time, restaurant was great as well as the terrace bar. Few suggestions: Air conditioner machines have to be checkesd up. Ours in room 209 didn't cold down the room enough, too hot (outdoors was 37°C). We reported it to the front desk but it was never fixed. 2nd: Pool area is cozy and very nice but definitely needs more pool-side lounge chairs. And it should be staffed at ALL times during its operating hours. We had a nice story to tell as well: ww got stuck in an elevator when it just failed, the hotel staff was very nice and responsive to "rescue" us from the broken lift. It was a failure that the hotel couldn't be blamed for, the elevator just failed as your car could fail just out of the blue. The situation ended up being funny ans interesting tale to tell. Beautiful cozy hotel. Fixing minor details would make it much better than it already is.

Beautiful hotel. The restaurant is lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. About 7-10 minutes walk from the main square on a slight climb. The room we got (108) noisy by an external hatch close to a window, even at night. The breakfast was very good, although the detail of the paper napkin is unforgivable in this category.

A fantastic hotel in all its aspects. Located in a 15TH century palace next to the wonderful St. Stephen's Church. Great attention from all the hotel stand. With hotels and staff so glad to travel.

A select setting, very nice to eat with tranquility. The dining room is, like the entire hotel establishment, situated in a historic frame imbued with serenity, with secular vaults, coffered ceilings, impressive stonework, and renewed with good sense and a classic contemporary taste.
Very good service, professional and fast.
The large tables, but not too much, favor the conversation without being heard of the nearby diners.
The menu has an affordable price (€20 with glass of wine and coffee included) and the offer of the letter, a little more expensive, is varied, with dishes of painstaking confection. The wine list is ample.
The dishes are original, and what you eat refined. The quantities, at first glance, seem scarce but as the food advances, not having the added dishes useless, leaves the restaurant satisfied without feeling the feeling of heaviness that sometimes prevents the proper use of the afternoon. A perfect place for a professional meal.
A little while outside, on the terrace, sheltered and with just foliage, allows to finish a very pleasant time.
It is recommended without reservation.

Very nice Hotel… but not a 5 star. TV doesn't have HD. The room temperature cannot be managed — this is unacceptable — the bed is correct even if the pillow is not… it's a quadrant! Another little something is that there is no plug on one side of the bed so you must leave the mobile charging in another socket. — This is arranged by calling the electrician. And that we had a Mini-Suite. The best thing about the Hotel is the service which is very good and they are very correct. Breakfast is good too. The location of the Hotel is very nice. The bathroom has no window but the mini-suite was quite spacious.

Hotel located in a historic building, really spectacular. Both the rooms and the restaurant are unbeatable, but above all, the friendliness and professionalism of all employees.

Everything was excellent. But make sure you don't get a room facing the restaurant terrace. You'll not be able to open the window if there's people having dinner, as the noise will be too much.

This hotel is spectacular. It's an old palace and it's all very careful. The rooms are very spacious and with all the details, including coffee Nexpreso and Calientaaguas to make infusions. The staff is very friendly. A real 5 stars with a lot of tradition and attentions, but with all the modern comforts. Great for a wedding, even though I was on business. It is also 10 minutes from downtown and 5 minutes from the bar area. Very quiet and comfortable.

Luxury Hotel in a 16th century building and close to the convent of San Esteban.
The staff is outstanding at all times and is very friendly. Cosy and very nice rooms. It has parking spaces both exterior and interior, but the indoor parking is a fair bit of space.

The service of the hotel the staff is very attentive and polite with the guests, the breakfast buffet includes a whole menu of hot plates and a part of a free buffet that includes sweets and toasts and the restaurant of which the hotel offers is very cozy and of the best of Salamanca.

Luxury Hotel in a historic building. The kitchen is very good and the lounges, for weddings not overly crowded, very acceptable as well. In addition, the garden is suitable for cocktails especially in summer when the temperature at dusk is pleasant. Generally recommended.

Wonderful! In few hotels as good as I have been and are not few, unbeatable the location, the hotel is beautiful, the room very nice and comfortable, with a bed as few in comfort.

Arrived at the hotel a day earlier than booked in, Reception Staff couldnt have been more helpful, not a problem they had a room for us, originally we didnt book direct but did say that we were travelling with 2 small dogs, they didnt have a record of this but again not a problem, we were pleasantly surprised when housekeeping brought dog beds and bowls to the room. All the staff were wonderfully polite and helpful, it was an added bonus to be in such beautiful surroundings and eating such exquiste food. Thank you soo much for a wonderful stay, we will be returning.

This is good hotel, but not really 5 stars. Very small rooms, not premium decoration but very cheap, small windows, small lobby, etc… it is looks from outside very old, very good view from windows, but inside very ordinary rooms — 3… 4 stars. They have parking and the location is very accesable: you can easily got by car, and from hotel go to the center in 5 minuits. Thw service is good, breakfast is also very good.

Attractive building, pleasant staff. Salamanca is a great place to spend a few days. We particularly enjoyed the motor museum and Casa Los.

For a 5 star hotel the bedroom we were given was minute. However when the air con didn't work we were moved to a much larger room. The staff was friendly and helpful and dealt with the air con problem very quickly.

Very nice hotel. Beautiful decor. The bed was very large and comfortable. The room itself was huge and had a seating area and a large bathroom with a tub and a standing shower. About a 10 minute walk to plaza mayor. There aren't really any shops or restaurants near the hotel so you will have to head toward city center to really do anything.

Great location and good value. Close to everything. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as thought it expensive but plenty of places nearby to go. Well designed room, comfortable beds, even the hairdryer was good (did not have to hold down the button all the time to make it work! ) friendly staff.

Hotel in a wonderful setting, in a period building and with an unbeatable location in the historic centre of Salamanca. Staff, the cleanliness and the comfort of the rooms make your stay very pleasant. But some details such as the absence of slippers, bathrobes, heating in the bathroom… undertake its image as a 5 star hotel.

Very cosy and centrally located hotel. Service and very professional treatment. View from the room to the unique cloister. Restaurant delicious although very scarce and high price. Leans more service type gym and aesthetic or physical therapy that is not in the room.

1. Nothing worked in my room — from the phone in room to wi fi to no instructions or intro to the amenities in hotel. I left still not knowing where the gum is. 2. They offered breakfast next morning at special price. My parents 79 and 88 years respectively got up too late. The hotel still charged us the. Full breakfast rate of 15 euros per person. When I complained on behalf of parents the parents got "free" coffee and a toasted Ham and cheese sandwich. When I ordered wine and I got sherry. When I queried this I was told that I drank the sherry last night. I had to insist on the fact I am ordering wine now. I ordered a transfer from hotel to Leon. The transfer company arrives in small sedan to take three people and 6 pieces of luggage. Yet every transfer to fate has been I a Mercedes combi. I was not even given a choice. Every compliant is met with I don't speak English well, but they understand how to take your money with indifferent service. But after 7 days in Spain I think it is the culture: poor indifferent service at 5 star amenities. The hotel is magnificent and so too salamanca. So too Spain. But don't come here to get 5 star service for 5 star rates or amenities. They don't come together. Clive H Viveiros.

On the 19th of June I stayed in this hotel together with my son and my wife. Rooms 203 and 104. I don't understand how a hotel of 5 (? ) stars there is no one to help you with the luggage. "There you have the lift. Go to the 2nd floor, etc. " I do not understand that does not have a safety box in the room. I don't understand that you will not attend lunch at the restaurant claiming that it was all occupied when in fact there was a group of religious who occupied a small part of the dining room. I don't understand that allow the use of the café with music and voices to affect the customers next. My son was in the 104 and had to protest after a good while of discomfort inadmissible. I don't understand that trying to have dinner at the reception, the first response was that it was all full. Only to complain about asserting our status as guests we "fixed it". The surprise was that we dined alone. We arrived and the dining room was empty. We ended up having dinner and he continued to vacuum. I don't understand the poor toilet in room 203 with a bathroom door that was enormously on the floor, a bathtub faucet completely off the hook, and a TV in a state very poor. I do not understand that the continental breakfast served in the room go with a on sugar only, and with a little oil, no butter, and jam. I do not understand that the chamomile that asked my woman to serve without plate, without sugar or spoon. I don't understand where they get the five stars.

Spectacular Hotel, one of the best that I have been, beautiful facilities with magnificent attention from employees and a good kitchen. If you are going to visit Salamanca is a great choice for you to stay.

Spend a weekend at this hotel and is happy. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and the spectacular public areas. The restaurant is very cool and the food very good. The only thing that maybe made for back is the price which is not cheap.

The experience is really good. A "luxury hotel" 5 * not da least for except that. Went with the offer "getaway romantic" (quite good by the price) that included 1 night with dinner and breakfast in its restaurant (beautiful finish as if of a cueva-bodega is were) the monk and us put to dinner in a GARRET "BREADED" with CANDLESTICK and window pretty that (to my seem) could be perfectly a wardrobe conditioning.
I think the cause of that night dinner is followed to the "hovel" was that the restaurant was celebrating a wedding.
And I say. Not could warn whenever there are what? not it be better that somebody would do a short note on the page (and the book) as: "enjoy your delicious dinner in the lovely dining room if you don't have bodorrios or style events scheduled for that same weekend"?

Well, except for this, the food was pretty good (although somewhat cold) and in industrial quantities. To go without having eaten in 5 hours, with hunger and a beautiful stomach.

Situado estratégicamente, muy bonito, muy limpio, muy recomendable (no muy barato, eso sí).

Do not understand how it is possible that the authorities have this hotel as 5 *, when we arrived to the hotel staff had not to carry suitcases, went down to the restaurant at 22:15 and not got dinners clear seeing the letter and dispensing treatment I think it was the best. Breakfast is a mediocre buffet at any road hotel, also poorly served by staff shortages. In general does not correspond with the services of a 5 *, the fitness center is located in a basement where the staff at the hotel are changed we struck. We did not like anything any of the friends.
