It has the swimming pool and the green area for sunbathing.
The restaurant service very good: delicious Iberian ham, very tasty main dishes. Very good value for money.

My wife and I have stayed 3 nights and have held our wedding here. I have only good words, both for management and for the rest of the human team. They've made us feel better than at home at all times. Wonderful rooms in perfect condition, delicious meals and smiles every time we came across an employee. That's my experience in this Parador. We will definitely repeat.

First visit and it is lovely. Very ancient and modern at the same time.

We Were 6 adults and 3 children one weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness is very good. It's Just a bit dated the rooms, big and clean.
As the director told us for next year the works will begin.
A very affectionate greeting to all the staff of the Parador, we will soon be back.

We didn't like The food at all. Each time they get worse to eat and they charge more expensive. Such a beautiful place and of this category can not give so bad to eat. The Wines, in addition to scarce and not very far, are priced is excessive for what they offer. It'S better not to use the restaurant. Lousy.

The Parador de Benavente is very cosy, the rooms, the swimming pool, the retaurante, the area of the tower, the terrace of the garden is a luxury, natural grass, trees of many years, a view more than ample, tranquility, the contrast of the structure, the mixture of Materials stone, crystal, wood and plants, the furniture and tissues of the cushions, seats, can feel the breeze of the air and the sound of the leaves with the wind… Personally I love it!

The Parador is in what was the castle of Benavente, spectacular the tower of the snail that is what is preserved of the castle. The views are impressive, the staff very attentive about the food you can taste typical products of the area. Advisable to visit the cafeteria of the tower and in summer take something on your outdoor terrace.

Highly recommended hotel! Strategically located and wonderfully located, large free parking, with very large and comfortably equipped rooms with large balcony! Garden with swimming pool, nice terrace in the countryside for sitting with bar. Very nice and helpful staff! We'll be happy to come back!

The truth is that I have only visited their gardens the bar and the restaurant.
I must say it is very nice, nice but needs a little bit of renovation.

Charming hotel. Like all Paradores hotels. Expect no less.

The Parador itself is quite attractive although a little worn. The staff were very good, rooms nice and spacious with balconies overlooking the pool (at least on the second floor). Inside and outside seating areas were quiet with a very pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was good. The town itself isn't much to write home about so the Parador seems to be a waypoint rather than a destination.

The review is only about the restaurant as I have not stayed at the Parador.
The surroundings are very nice, located in the Torre del Caracol. The dining room in the line of Paradores. The service is super attentive and very effective.
We take roast lamb, which is the star dish of the Parador. They serve it with potatoes and salad. It is enough, if the hunger is normal, and if it is supplemented with a good dessert. Rice pudding is great. The price is €24 per person, the lamb. The whole meal, for two, with wine and desserts €70.
You don't have to stop visiting the tower. The visit is free, and you don't need to be a customer. The base of the tower is occupied by the cafeteria and, the high part, a multipurpose room, in which you can appreciate the wonderful coffered ceiling.
We were fortunate that the Director of the Parador showed it to us. Not knowing about anything, just for kindness. We talked to him for a while about Benavente. Thanks a lot!

Staff lovely, hotel needed a bit of tlc and a lot of work going on outside.

Good hostel to rest quietly eat.

Old Castle, in the basement of its tower is its original cafeteria-bar and its beautiful coffered dining room is a luxury. The views and tranquility of the place are unbeatable.

As its name indicates an ideal place to spend a romantic weekend conducive to the environment. Very nice staff, very amble.

Wonderful, I loved the room I had exit to the pool, the people super friendly, the bar tucked into the beautiful cave and very good breakfast, all homemade. I liked it a lot.

Corner in the valleys of Benavente for a weekend getaway or a very quiet holiday.
Nestled in the old tower of a fortress palace has spectacular views of the valley.
It has free parking, beautiful gardens and, although it is located practically in the center of Benavente, is at the end of the rides of the Mota, a very quiet place.
Good cuisine and service, according to what we are accustomed the national paradores.

Impressive coffered up to be able to visit freely. Very nice and picturesque place to contemplate a panoramic view of the valleys of Benavente. Parque de la. Mota very careful and arranged with variety of flowers and places to rest.

Between some things and others, the Parador de Benavente is one of those castellanoleoneses places that deserves to be visited. Of the artistic attractions that enclose, it is worth highlighting the spectacular Mudejar coffered ceiling of its tower. The establishment is located in a castle Palace of the Counts of the place from which once was controlled an important crossroads. Today the Hotel monument is appropriate to appease the fatigue of passing travellers, including pilgrims, and for those who do sightseeing in the city. It has a bonísima kitchen and next to the windows of its restaurant you can enjoy a sublime dinner accompanied by a sunset over the extensive alamedas that surround several tributaries of the Duero.

I would really appreciate it with 3 ' 5 stars if I could… It is a cosy parador (like almost all the paradores… For those who like it) and correct. The only downside I put is that there are things that are still a bit old… and have been outdated… That gets a little bit of a general feeling. In any case… very nice.

Beautiful Castle Palace of the Counts of Benavente, was the seat of the courts of 1176. It has changed over the centuries and today the imposing Renaissance-style snail tower is preserved. Beautiful!

Better in various respects, in our room the heating did not work well. They checked and the next night was the same. I fix a reception clerk. Clean but old. That was not bad. Friendly staff.

The Parador de Benavente is this charming little town's primary attraction. Built into the remains of an authentic castle, hundred of years old, it retains it's old-school appeal while blending seemlessly into the park that has been built to surround it. This park and the Parador both sit stop a hilltop from which the surrounding fields can bee seen for many miles. It's a fantastic place to stay, eat, explore, or maybe even just take a walk at.

Superb Service at the Front Desk and Restaurant. Large and well furnished rooms, very comfortable. Will return. As usual Paradores is an excellent choice.

Great traditional parador with nice large room opening onto the garden with swimming pool and garden bar terrace. We had a great lunch outside, all served by lovely staff. Bar snacks available in the evening or main restaurant available. Great views of the sunset.

A surprising place in the middle of Benavente.

Cool hotel. Old castle. Rooms very clean, but dated. Sinks didn't drain. Awesome bar. Good restaurant. Friendly staff. Broken thermostat. Not much to do near hotel.

We stopped here for lunch and everything was phenomenal. All of the wait staff were gushing over my 3 year old and giving her treats. I would definitely stop by here again.

Usual parador. Historic building, clean and comfortable. Noisy passageways. Wi-Fi in rooms 203 and 204 absolutely terrible. Great for a halfway stop between Madrid and Galicia. Also good if you want to visit the Iberian Wolf Center.

Handy for town and pleasant rooms. Small pool but useable and good food. Nice restaurant staff.

Aging, but in a very beautiful setting. Has renovated.

Then there is the top of the PARADORES, ideal on all plans, I recommend it highly.

I am Benaventana and I love the Parador. The last time I have been has been a communion and I liked. Except that you lack room for dancing and that the sorbet it make liquid not in ball of ice cream…

Reform of rooms needed urgent bathrooms seem to a hospital in the 1950s. That Yes, the building, in general, is worthy of verse and visit it. As a hotel, I repeat, you need upgraded already.

It eats well, is sleeping well.

Tranquility, beautiful parador.

Built out of the remains of a much larger fort. Sleepy town with not much in it (other than the Parador). Neither Parador nor town have had much attention. Fine if you want to lie by the pool, or are just passing through.

The menu of the pilgrim to 20€ is spectacular, the meats were very good especially the cheeks.

Wonderful place. Pleasant staff. And a tasting remarkably careful and tasty menu. Everyting. Ahhh and sky delicious tocinillo.

A beautiful place with great views. Very good to enjoy a beer in the evening or a cafeteria in the morning. The dining room, however, is of the more mediocre and never recommend to eat there. Probe the menu of the day Wednesday 7 January 2009 and was a total disgust. The majority of the saucers were removed from boat and had no grace. "Entree" kid was an absolute loss. The only dish was even worse dessert – Bacon from heaven, whose name is, incredibly, Deceiver.
