Very cozy hotel, very nice, like all NH Collection, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in the centre of Bilbao. John Espeja Martinez was so helpful and welcoming, he is very accommodating and provided us much needed information of the neighbouring towns as we wanted to explore. We really appreciate his kindness. Thank you and more power to John, his team and NH Collection!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The Hotel is well located and with available parking. We walked to the museum and the “casco viejo”. Highly recommend!

I recently stray in this hotel for three nights. It is an excellent hotel, in a great area, a short walk from all the sights of this beautiful city. The room was spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a super shower in the bathroom. … The breakfast was superb, with a great choice of meat, cheese, juice, bread, pastries, fruit and eggs. But what made the hotel special was the staff, it’s greatest asset. The staff in reception were courteous and kind, despite my lack of the Spanish language. The staff in the breakfast area and in particular the bar were wonderful and made the stay particularly enjoyable. So thank you all and I hope to return some day. Regards,

This is a super hotel, a short walk to the centre of Bilbao, and then only 5-10 minutes to the old town. All th staff are kind and helpful, the maitre’d on breakfast is a pleasure to meet in a morning — with a charming smile and a word for everyone. I am very pleased to have chosen this hotel.

The rooms are nice, modern design, everything you need to live in the room is available. Unfortunately, a couple of details left bewilderment — the lack of a kettle and the inability to eat somewhere in the hotel, but also to drink a glass of tea after 23 hours. Location and accessibility of the benefits of civilization is possible only if there is a car, because it is on the outskirts.

I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel, the room was from 3 with a double bed and an armchair/bed both comfortable, the bathroom and refreshments in the room were well stocked although it would have been better to take more care of some details in the bathroom.
Too bad for the only window in the room that gave up a very disappointing courtyard interior.
Really great breakfast even if paid apart from the price of the room.
All members of staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel with convenient access to the central district of Madrid. Government, tourism, shopping, museums and restaurants are all close by and within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide offering. We are at a nearby restaurant Lamuuca.

I love this Hotel in Bilbao, where I stay whenever I go since the year 99. Since it is also a Collection, it has still given a more positive touch. Very spacious room, comfortable, perfect cleaning and breakfast buffet typical of the NH chain that makes you get 1 hour testing everything.

Perfect. Excellent cleanliness, wonderful deal received. The room overlooking the Gran Via spectacular. I loved staying there.

Paid a premium price during Semana Santa week and didn't receive so much as a cup of coffee for the exorbitant rate. Let's face it, hotels just provide a bedroom and a chance to be overcharged for everything else.

The time I spent in this hotel was very nice, I strongly recommend it. The breakfast was very tasty. A little expensive but it worth it.

Exquisite attention, although they were not guilty of some rude guests who at 5 in the morning were made to make noise they cared about our break and moved us to room. Definitely very good location to get to know the city and feel at home. Thanks to the whole team NH Villa de Bilbao.

The room was clean and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location. The only downside (so I do not put the 5 stars) is because the access to the parking was a little difficult. Otherwise everything is very good.

The receptionist was very friendly. We received Jon, a very nice and funny guy, giving us all the facilities, he indicated points of the city to eat, see, and his personal recommendations. The breakfast buffet seems to be not very big but has a lot of variety, of everything. I was surprised they had milk of all kinds. The room has many details that you don't find in almost any hotel, for example a power dryer. Since my wife always has to take hers because those who usually put are not worth much. A great experience.

Good 4-star hotel. Habitaciobes new Nice and clean. Nice reception. Situation a little far from the old town but close to museums walk by estuary, Euskalduna… for lunch and dinner has a restaurant with a €22 menu with VAT. Pretty decent. Very full breakfast. In the room have Nespresso with three capsules and infusions.

Very well located close to everything from the area of Pinchos Al Gugenhain and in the most luxurious area of bio-friendly breakfasts service spacious rooms and comfortable meeting rooms in order all you would expect from an urban 4 star.

I was quite disappointed to be a 4 star hotel.
We were given a room where the temperature did not go down from the 30 degrees, even with the heating off. As we had no air conditioning we had to sleep with the window a little open (indicate that I am talking about the days 5 and 6 of January) and still had to sleep on the bed and with the minimum of clothes possible. The solution we got was to provide us with a fan, but it is obvious that at night we could not have it turned on by the noise. So after two nights of sleeping in those conditions we asked to be moved from room, and they provided another one in which there was no heat problems. After four or five hours in the room we checked for excessive noise, and saw that the window was broken and did not allow closure. We were moved back to change rooms and at last had a proper one to expect.
The worst of all is that the reception told us that the problem with the heat of the rooms has been going on for some time, and curiously we checked that happened in those that gave the inner courtyard. Therefore, if you go to this hotel, I advise you to grab a room that does not from to that patio, as according to my impression the hotel management has no interest in solving this problem.

The hotel was very nice. It was walkable to most locations, and there is a metro station a few blocks away. The room was high quality.

Excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location couldn’t be better, the rooms were super nice and comfortable, the food from the restaurant was very good, the breakfast bar is one of the best I’ve ever seen, and the bartender who runs the bar makes some of the best cocktails you’ll ever have in you’re life — he made the trip very memorable for us. We will definitely come back and stay here again in the future. It is nice to see how much they care about every detail at this hotel. We really felt like we were at home!

Friendly staff. Nice lobby and bar area. Decent room service menu and enough breakfast (in bed) for four people, let alone two. Beds firm and okay but the pillows were way too soft and didn't provide enough support. Rooms very clinical in white. We had a balcony, which was great. … Main bugbear was that at New Year night temperature was still around 10degC but the air con system for the hotel had been set to 'heat' only, so couldn't use it. Room became very stuffy, even with the balcony door open Overall decent but we've stayed in better for a similar price (€265 for three nights). Would really rate it 3.5 stars.

We've seen it a few years ago. And we have a very good memory of the facilities and the staff who attended us. Located in the heart of Bilbao very close to everything there is to see. It has a parking lot close to the hotel. We'll be back soon.

I had a great stay here while visiting Bilbao on vacation. It's located close to many attractions including the Guggenheim which I highly recommend visiting while in town. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and I would stay here again the next time I visit Bilbao which is hopefully is soon.

We loved our last night! Double room for us and our 2 children of 4 and 1 year. The reception to the little care, little attentions… The bedding is top notch, the equipment of good quality and very recent. We will return without hesitation if we pass by Bilbao.

The first time we came to this city, we spent two nights in the Bilbao villa. We found it to be a wonderful hotel in the great city. Without expectation, we found ourselves very satisfied with the location of the hotel, the room, especially the helpful staff. The check-in was very smooth and the front desk also took pains to tell us that there was a free park opposite the hotel, along with a bank holiday (and a savings of 40 euros). The room was quiet and comfortable. We are particularly pleased with the lobby bar and the talented bartender. Staff are very helpful in explaining how to enjoy the beautiful river stroll to the Guggenheim and Old Town. We look forward to coming back.

As in almost all NH hotels, great room, modern and comfortable. Good bedding, linens and washcloths. We had a superior double room. All use services. Very good reception professional but not personal. Coffee maker, high-performance Wi-Fi, safe, mini bar. Quiet although overlooking the "Champs Elysees" of Bilbao. Cleanliness could be improved.

Nice hotel, comfortable but that can not be classified in the series of hotels of prestige or charm.

Nice room and bathroom. But you should not put snacks and drinks making believe that they are free and then make them pay 5 euros! Good location, very central! Breakfast recommended!

Le Bol Blanc, the hotel restaurant is a good place to eat in Bilbao. Product typical of the area with a touch innovative. Good customer service.

My husband and I are traveling the Camino Del Norte for our honeymoon, and were on Day 5 of our grueling trip when we arrived at the NH Collection Via de Bilbao. What an amazing gift at the end of 80 miles and 10, 000 vertical feet! We walked in to the kindest front desk staff (who didn't seem to mind the stink of our clothes), who, upon learning that we were on the Camino, upgraded us to a suite for the night "so we could sleep comfortably. " We opened the bottle of wine in our room, enjoyed a nice long bubble bath in the gorgeous, marble-plated bathroom, and then went out for a nice dinner nearby. We slept like babies in the huge, comfortable bed, and then went down for breakfast at Le Bol Blanc. We were amazed at the beautiful, tasty assortment for breakfast, complete with loose-leaf tea and omelettes to order. And to top off the day, we were offered late check-out at 2pm. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, relaxing setting and hospitable staff. Thank you, NH Collection! We are loyalists now!

7 years I could tell that it was the best breakfast I've ever taken in a hotel, three types of omelets, donuts of "truth"… Gladly paid the € 16, now is very normalito, that Yes, served very nice. Great, very well located hotel.

Same quality as usuals, good value for money.

I spent 3 days of Holy week at this hotel, has poor communications with the Centre and the motorway exit. Personally the room was good size, very NH. But the subject of cleaning badly, that my son removed a shoe and is fits some sand on the floor is something that can happen, and the next day that the sand that I took a little, keep it there I have not come to understand, but you can let it go, but on the third day following the sand there already makes you think that they don't clean the room.
If you were not for the reception girls are majisimas and helped us in everything we asked…
Another thing to look at, but for the people who are going to hotels, is the theme that if you arrive at 1:30 in your room not armes the hubbub that weapons, but this does not depend on the Hotel, if not of the uncivil people.

It is a very good hotel, as they tend to be those of the NH chain. The rooms are very clean and the decor is modern.
It has restaurant, but I've only tried the breakfast, which is also very good. It is worth testing the juices.
It is very close to the Guggenheim, 10 minutes walking.
Already I've been several times and I probably will.

A great place for meetings.

I had a business meeting in the Mundaka room and then we ate at restaurant menu €18. All the service was good even in spite of a mistake that had our company which is responsible for these acts in our company.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. It is located on a fairly busy Street in the center of bilbao. The hotel has facilities for small to medium sized meetings or conferences. The hotel rooms are light and modern with all necessary conveniences. The staff are courteous and several area bilingual. I didn't actually stay at the hotel, but would not have a problem doing so.

Regular hotel for price and bad category care responsible for the hotel, it was light for an hour and a half and there was no emergency room light nobody took care of us.

Very good breakfast with lots of options. The staff are very friendly and welcoming to children. The old town is about a 30min walk or you can take the tram. Lots of local bars just around the corner to explore in the evening.

The restaurant is delicious, well cooked and presented, and is not expensive.
