Nice bar for having a few drinks with co workers.

Wow wow woooow. The room with balcony. Stunning! The staff just so helpful. And the restaurant has amazing food!

Excellent room quality. The kindness is extreme. I am not to use the soaps, kits, etc that they usually leave in more rooms. But, I thought it was funny to see a shaving kit. I've never seen them before. I take it for it and I see it was already used… it hasn't been nice but good. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel mear the river, not far away from the bus station. Everything is quite good un overall. Recommended!

Dont know anything about the hotel but I stared the town as I heard it has one of the best food scenes in Spain. Most michelin star spots per capita.

Lovely Hotel, and Staff very helpful, plus a delish Breakfast Buffet, we only stayed one of the three nights we booked, due to the 'British Rain' they were having (I have since found out rain is not that uncommon in this part of Spain, hence the beautiful Greenery! ), but the one night was quite delightful!

Nice area, nice rooms. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. To be a four star is one of the worst I've ever been to. Is saved by its excellent location.

The staff is lovely and professional, they make you feel at home from the first moment.
We had a problem and they turned to help us and in accompanying me at all times making the rest of the stay very enjoyable.

Hotel is good, but quite far into the old town. It's just 2km and 2km back. The path on the right of the river towards the City is nicer.

A normal hotel that doesn't stand out for anything in my opinion. You could use a little modernization. A negative point, the room was poorly soundproofed. The traffic was heard with the window closed from a seventh floor.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom, clean. We liked it a lot. Especially the ease of having parking and its location, for us it was perfect. Highly recommended. A right hotel.

Spacious and clean rooms. Good location, half an hour walking to the centre of San Sebastián and 10 minutes (by car) from the nearest shopping centre. Varied breakfast with pastries made in the same hotel (delicious) and very good customer service.

I mean your cafeteria. Nice place to spend some time alone or in company while you drink or eat something, law the newspaper. Well placed to get in or out of the city. Very well connected to the centre.

Good hotel typical of this type of hospitality chains. Continental breakfast correct and staff very friendly as is normal in this type of establishment. They could do some discount in the parking lot across the street, because the area is really bad for parking.

The room was modern and clean. There is a restaurant and bar attached. There was live music in the bar area. It was about a mile from the old town which was farther than I'd have liked.

It is a very central hotel and has all the amenities that you can expect from a hotel of your level, the reception attention is from very friendly and professional people.

The Hotel Amara Plaza is a pleasant establishment with diverse spaces where you will taste an exquisite menu, an aperitif with friends, …, besides being one of the best hotels to accommodate our ezmeraldita and family.

3 nights stay in early November 2017 in love. A very professional welcome put us in confidence and the room matched our expectations. We still had a surprise in the night because a water leak was declared at the level of the aluminium window. In the morning we noticed at the reception this little unexpected and the team immediately proposed a change of room that we refused. The next day the reception team put at our disposal a suite for the same price as the room. We were also entitled to different trade actions at the time of settlement. One of the officials came in person to apologise for this disappointment. The kind of attention that makes you leave the hotel with a smile despite this little leak.
The morning food, restaurant, bar or reception teams are helpfulness exemplary.
We were delighted with our we in San Sebastian and this in part thanks to this warm hospitality.
The breakfast is one of the most plentiful: a real meal alone!
Some French institutions are far from being so passionate about their work and the attention they bring to their clientele.

The Amara Plaza Hotel is a superb establishment, always ready to distill its magic. His team assaults, at every moment, courtesy and efficiency.
Designers have gone through its corners as in its large volumes. There is an atmosphere that is both noble and simple. This is perhaps what deceives the lovers of reservation at a broken price, found in shorts and running, in the middle of the clean lines of the breakfast room.
The magic is maintained. There are customers who ignore it. We are one of those who deplore it and suffer for the remarkable work of the team. Besides that the financial equilibrium is likely to be miscarried by the reservations at broken prices, is also the respect for the magic of the place and those who welcome us.

Very nice and is right in a very wide Spiazziale.

We stayed in this hotel in June to visit some Family that live in the area. There were 13 of us in our party occupying several rooms of various sizes. The accommodations needed updating. We called for staff to fix the thermostats in 3 of our rooms as it stayed hot for the first two days. When the need came to borrow an iron and ironing board, we had to call for it every time. It did not come standard to the room. The sleeper couch was not ideal for a 3 night stay. The staff are very courteous. The buffet breakfast was good. It was nice that there were seafood options for pescatarians such as myself. The restaurant had great specials available. They were just crowded most of the time, so expect a wait while dining. If the place was updated to current times, maybe I would have given 4 stars.

This was the second time we stayed in this hotel. Good location, even though it is a good 25 minute walk to the old town. Helpful and friendly staff. Good facilities, important for us is the safe and secured parking.

Came here for dinner and drinks with a couple other friends who were visiting with me. Great food, we ordered appetizers for the table and none disappointed, very breast but still great. Waiters were nice, spoke great English and put up with our broken Spanish.

Here for 2 nights as part of a tour group… room was ready on arrival… bags to room promptly… room has great parkland views… dinner was excellent as was the buffet breakfast… reception and bistro staff very friendly… most have good enough English.

Recent construction, panoramic view, slightly defiled position but only 10 minutes walk from the Centre, parking agreement at €19 per day, breakfast with excellent buffet.

I travel from the USA to Spain for work often. I always stay at the Amara Plaza. The Staff remebers me and my preferances. They offer gluten free choices at breakfest as well as the menu. I have been over whelmed by the kindness and extra mile the staff goes. For anyone who travels often, understands it can be difficult at times, but here I always feel comfortable and welcome!

But this year we have found the surprise. They have made the new bus station, and we have lost the comfort of having the stop at the door. It has lost quite a few integers for us, we hope to negotiate a stop for bus coming from Bilbao airport…

Nice hotel, but the free Wi-Fi does not work, which is one of the necessities while traveling abroad. The signal is very weak and goes in and out constantly. When I approached the two women at reception, one completely ignored me and the other told me the problem must be with my device because it's not a problem they've heard before. Obviously this is not true because other reviews mention the same problem. I recommend you find somewhere else if you need Wi-Fi or helpful staff.
