Review of Hotel Caribe 3*

Stayed at the Caribe between 12-19th August. Brilliant hotel for children. My two year old especially liked the fish slide! Top tip — don't get the water in your mouth, it's like drinking sun cream-but at least we know the children were all protected! The big pool wasn't unbearably cold either-a nice surprise. I woke around 8.30 each morning and didn't have any problems finding three sunbeds together, although the parasols were all taken by then (some by people who's beds were in the shaded area which was frustrating). The cleaners were absolutely amazing-room cleaned every day, towels changed and there were always cleaners in the communal areas. One lady even gave me a water gun and lilo that someone had left behind. The food was fantastic. I have seen that some people say the same was served daily and to a point, it was. But not totally the same. There was a diff meat/fish dish every night, potatoes cooked in a variety of ways, diff vegetables. The breakfast was lovely (sausages a tad under cooked) with lots of choice-cereal, pastries, cooked breakfast, fruit and we were spoilt for choice with our evening meal and desserts. Wine, sangria, beer and soft drinks available with meals. Bar was overpriced €3.80 for a lemonade, €2.30 for a slush puppy and €6.50 for a cocktail (although priced at €4.50 in the menu) Pringles €2 and chocolate €1.50. Top top: check the vending machines as drinks and snacks are cheaper… Entertainment was ok. Mini disco, bingo and a different show every evening. The Bollywood and parrot shows were the most entertaining, the 'magician/acrobat' was a bit strange. Looking up ladies skirts, see through outfits… but each to their own. Some entertainment in the day. Kids club was terrible-colouring and dirty building blocks — some work is needed here. Reception team couldn't help more when my son got locked in the toilet especially! Thank you! Will defiantly visit again. We are trying to bring the rest of our family too!
