Parador de Antequera

We stayed two days in this parador. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a swimming pool for children and babies and another for adults quite deep (in the center is 2.40cm). The breakfast service that is the one we use is very plentiful and delicious. Free private parking is available on site. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were advising on excursions in the area (the Torcal is beautiful, and worth going to visit and the lake of the Fountain of Stone too). I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent parador, which, although is not the most historic in the area still provides an insight to Spanish culture The staff are kind and friendly and the rooms are exactly as expected.

I've been to the Parador twice but only for social events. It's a modern building in a location with beautiful views of the plains surrounding Antequera. Good food and service. Recommended.

We had three days. The hotel is refurbished since the last time we stayed there. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and fabulously imsonorizadas, very quiet.
Good outdoor parking, quite booked. It is not in the historical center but the walk is nice until you get to it and it takes no more than half an hour going calmly. It is very close to the bullring and there are bars and restaurants in the area.
The girl of reception kind and sympathetic, a ten, like the Lord of Cafeteria, Antequerano proud of his people who gave us very good indications. There are no hits on cleanliness.
The breakfast was very good. As for the service, I want to establish two totally different appraisals. On Saturday and Sunday morning, staff not ten but eleven, friendly, attentive super effective, removing and preparing tables attached to the Windows (with a fabulous view of the Vega and mountains) so that they could be occupied by all who arrived, keeping everything with an appreciable degree of order and neatness.
From Monday morning staff I can't say the same thing. It took more than ten minutes to attend, my wife told her to put the tea (the other two days did not) in a way and a tone that may not be classified as incorrect but all of them unpleasant.

Magnificent Hotel in Antequera belonging to the network of Paradores in Spain… very friendly staff… great food.

Ideal to find relax. Different halls, terraces and varied sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a swimming pool and a garden with terrace. The ideal food. Although the views are not impressive they have managed to create an oasis of peace…

I went to eat. Very nice person. A lot of food on the menu of 32 euros and good quality. The dining room has very good views.

Modern and cosy Hotel. Very well located in the village. We slept there the Nocje from the 10th to the 11th of March 2018. Our only complaint was that the hot water did not work in the morning and we were not able to shower any of the two. When we commented on checking out, the only thing we were told was that if there was a problem with the boiler and that it was a shame. And have a good old woman. For a hotel of that category I expected another attention.

I loved the taste of this tapa that included in the route of the top of Antequera 2018. Pity that the place where we were served did not have views of the Vega Antequeran or music relaxed atmosphere… It would have been 10

Price: At that level, the price was right.
As soon as I go to Antequera, I return to the Parador.

This very good but we spent some cold PQ took us a weekend of Micho Frio and the heating only came up to 26 degrees and in the room was missing a little more heating.

It was only for a coffee, but it's a nice place and the workers are so kindly with all the people, and the typical dessert of Antequera is really taste ;)

It is a Parador of modern construction, very comfortable and comfortable. It has fantastic views and an excellent and attentive service.

It is a very central and well kept Parador. The bullring is also very close, where you can also get to eat, and that has a restaurant. You can not leave Antequera are visiting the Torcal and dolmens, natural monuments and prehistoric first order.

Great facilities, quiet and quiet atmosphere.

The service was so nice, our room was pretty big and the TV had Moviestar+ (which allow you to watch more than the regular channels) also the environment was quiet and calm.

Very clean rooms,,, but the bathroom pipes smelled, an unpleasant smell. It's a shame because the staff very friendly and the Parador has a privileged site and Antequera is a city that has a worth seeing heritage!

Reformed and very quiet, but at the same time, just a walk from the historical centring. A must visit to the dolmens and the Alcazaba.

Disappointing. Having very good experiences with Paradores in Carmona, Granada, Ubeda, Sierra de Cazorla, this one is definitely a let down. Room (junior suite), large and comfortable but very obvious lack of maintenance, rug in a dubious state of cleanliness, rattan seats on balcony pretty frayed, sinks not draining properly etc. For a suite room, at that price one would expect better. Restaurant… well, if one want to sit 2 hrs 15 minutes for 3 small courses of very, very average quality — food obviously too long below a warming plate — go there; poor service, waiting almost a quarter of an hour to have the main plates course taken away after finishing, etc. Once, not twice. Breakfast ok though… self-service!

Very well located to visit Antequera El Torcal the Dolmen and one hour the Caminito del Rey modern Parador and good services.

Nice quiet hotel that feels like you are in the middle of nowhere while you are a short stroll from the city.

Ot is a nice place not far from the center and close to El Torcal reserve.

Business seminars with breaks and cocktails that follow generate significant noise, it's a nuisance for individual customers.
The agricultural party of early June moved near the hotel with fairground attractions but it's especially the reception of music groups with a very powerful sound from the early afternoon until late in the evening that night peace pool and Park.

Good deal and best… very nice views and romantic.

Very good, clean hotel in a traditional Spanish town. Staff maybe not as welcoming as they could be and lunch and dinner offerings were quite limited but the rooms were cleane and the pool area good for sunbathing in summer.

First stay in a Parador and rather disappointed. Barely any staff, no information provided on check in I. E. Breakfast hours, general lay out etc. The room looked very tired, and was not very clean. Bath towel had several holes and shower needed a proper clean and regrout. Would not return unless they refurb.

I have been for two days. Not imaginabamos that could be so attentive, I congratulate you for everything. Quality, care, and kindness pouring in. Thank you for the detail that had, for my wife and me.

Excellent hotel very good serbicip.

We stayed last night (15/11/08) and found it transformed — the refurbishment was completed at the beginning of November. Rooms modern, large enough — somewhat strange choice of frosted glass walls to separate the bathroom from the bedroom, but that's design! Staff friendly, and food good.
