Flee! Or take a picture from the parking lot it will go faster and you will have the best of our stay there.

Slow and incompetent staff that leaves much to be desired, a building filled with useless and dated furniture with 3/4 of the unused rooms, non-existent finishes, a poorly maintained indoor swimming pool, torn sunbeds, slippers in plastics "offered" for our "comfort" at the pool and a very basic cleaning everywhere!

As for the room, no better! The shower has no water flow, the water is extremely limestone so do not have the idea of drinking it, hair found in the bathrobes, the ceiling witness a water damage in progress and a bedding frankly soft and bad.

All this for 130 euros a night! A so-called 5-star that is not worth even 2. Fortunately, the exterior building and the view enhance the stay.

Hotel according to its star rating located in a privileged and charming environment. Highly recommended to get lost and isolate in the Sierra de Antequera near the Torcal. Complete and well managed services from spa to excursions in the varied and very appetizing surroundings. Restaurant good and well taken care of with correct cellar, advisable to let yourself be carried away by the waiters in terms of eating specialties of the area. Good breakfast with full buffet. Spacious and well decorated rooms. Very nice reception. Definitely recommended place.

House is very unique, but seems that needed lot of clean up and renovation, specially spa and restaurant area, Windows was dirty and the food seems overrated by meens of value. Location is extra ordenary.

It is a 5* hotell, situated an unique place but seems like the stars are given years ago… Windows are so dirty, beds are not comfort, the spa is so old and dirty and even jacuzzi stones are missing… The best was breakfast, but only breakfast you dont get 5 stars. Too much money of It.

A very nice place, secluded from the city and next to the Sierra. The site is ideal to rest and relax as only the kingdoms of the birds are heard. The hotel perfectly preserved being curious that its old church is an exhibition hall or lounge. You eat very well and enjoy each of your stays for the old place.

5-Star Hotel rural. In Antequera with golf courses. Spectacular views. Ideal for making celebrations, weddings communions etc. Location of Antequera Capital. About 15 minutes by car.

That wonderful Hotel, located in a quiet place, transports you to another era, super well cared, with pleasure and a great deal of activities. I loved the dinner of the senses, that hurts that we could not experience. Next time, I'm sure.

Apart from the town without noises in a privileged area, majestic hotel with magnificent facilities, has several patios and large terraces, spa area and sports.

Old Convent converted into charming hotel, very spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The enclave is unbeatable, the building is a priori spectacular and the service charming. The two stars I give to the owner/address of the hotel. The facilities are very poorly presented: irrigation pipes and wiring visible by the garden, posters and metal fences in the area of football and entrance fields, a musical thread that sounds until the last hours of the night and, in my opinion, ruins the magic of the Site, a poor and unattended spa with very basic facilities. The rooms are also basic, more typical of a 3 stars: correct beds but without more, lack of directory book, Access door to the broken garden, basic lighting with a fused light bulb… The service is lovely but short, I don't see a soul ever. It's a shame because the raw material is spectacular, but it lacks good taste and care for the detail.

Great place to go to rest, with children or without children, with nature at a pace, and with spectacular facilities to play golf, or Futgolf. The food is especially good with products from the Vega. I recommend you try it. The staff is very nice. The music shows in the Hall are great.

Characterful hotel in a spectacular rural setting about 15 minute drive from the centre of Antequera. We upgraded to a bedroom suite which was exceptionally spacious. Indoor pool/spa a great bonus especially during the winter months.

Great, but needs updating.

I surprised my family with an over night stay here for my husband and I's, 25th wedding anniversary and we wasn't dissapointed at all. The staff on arrival where courtesy and helped us settle into our celebrations easily. Our evening meal was highly rated and again the service and food was 2nd to none. The rooms for our overnight stay where perfect for us all When my family are happy I am happy, was everything I wanted it to be and more. Thank you.

Hotel a bit far from Antequera village. Peculiar place, very interesting. Needs a bit of refreshing. Great restaurant, amazing food worth the detour just to eat. Spa. Pool. Good beds. Nice personnel.

Firstly, this hotel is full of character. It has maintained much from its original, such as the internal courtyard, stairways, cellars, etc. The bedroom s are very comfortable and full of character also. The location is superb, overlooking olive groves, hills and rocky mountains not far away. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and it does an excellent breakfast. It is not in any way a pretentious or "stuffy" hotel. It is an excellent location to relax, unwind and explore the fantastic Andalusia. It may not be your typical 5* but because of its character, location, views and general ambiance it deserves its luxury status.

Very peaceful, lovely room with small outside sitting area, staff very efficient. Restaurant very reasonable with menu inspired by David munz. Spa small but free in the room price.

The service of restaurant is very slow. We hire half board and though menu, it took us an average of 1'45 hours. The kitchen left much to wish for a 5 *… Soup of seafood with potatoes, repetition of dishes… At spa, we were lucky to match parents with two teenagers who thought the pool was of the beach, before the impassivity of the parents…

Spectacular landscape and building, but of the 5 * no trace in the service:
Unattended breakfast buffet, many out of print products and must be ordered one to one so they replaced them in the microwave a message that if spots it you have to clean your own (very strong), the bar of the snack bar also unattended by evening with endless timeouts, two jets of the SPA one did not work and general cleaning of these dependencies at least questionable status assortment of teas available to customers but glasses or cups or silverware, the waterlogged ground, reserved for three people carried out in advance and only had two bathrobes available upon request even in reception the third, etc. Etc.
Sincerely a painful lack of attention to detail, improper establishment 5 *. I've been to many 3 * which exceeded it at all.
Access is from a roundabout on a road about 5 km that was whole unlighted resulting dangerous at night because he had speed bumps and winding journey.

Lost in the world. Without coverage the friendly people.

One last Hotel… was a former monastery of the 17TH century restored and converted into a paradise in the heart of nature.

Very very highly recommended.
And very cheap to be a 5 *
