Very old but beautifully converted buildings. Handy for Tarifa visit. Rooms are well appointed and immaculate.

Very good hotel. Nice room Efficient home, with a very little staid style, which adds to the charm of the places. The only problem is the restaurant: the classic food can still pass, but the service is extremely random. Check the bill and claim your currency because it doesn't always come back.

We celebrate a family's birthday, we close a menu with the restaurant, the quality food and the service very attentive and friendly. The result was sensational.

Very very good address, very well kept, good welcome, bone table, nice and comfortable rooms, I will return have great pleasure I command briskly.

I Stay here everytime that I'm going to Tanger or coming from there and I will still do it. Very good!

Good food, but according to which waiter wrecks the service. I don't understand how a category restaurant, or at least it was, can have a staff like that. It leaves you with the word in your mouth and does not give one. The disagreeable maitre and nothing professional.
A restaurant that was worth it for the food and the staff, now has a lousy service and have reduced the dishes. When it comes to filing the bill, total disaster. They mix the tables and if you are not attentive, they charge you what others have eaten. In short, not to return.

Regular food, the unpleasant head of the table. Little professionalism. First time I leave a place without saying goodbye.

The place is very nice and when we arrived the chimneys were lit, it was comfortable; But I can't say more positive things about the restaurant. The attention of the waiters left a lot to be desired, little nice and attentive, and the food scarce and expensive. I do not recommend, in Algeciras or Tarifa, which are next door, you will find locals where you will be much better and you can eat better at a good price.

So I don't really know what to think of this hotel! In itself, it's fine. But the staff, particularly at the front desk, seemed very unhappy! Dinner was underground! The breakfast was very good. Buffet with all sorts of choices! What we found to be very annoying was that this hotel is right on a busy road! As a short stopover quite to use from longer I would not want to stay there!

It's a very cozy hotel. Nice spacious rooms. Good breakfast and nice staff.

The place is nice and nice, the food really pathetic, zero quality, mals and expensive. We're not coming back. The bartenders are really nasty. The only thing that's worth is the décor and the surroundings.

Very cool hotel. I loved listening to the birds in the trees in the morning. It was too cold to use the pool when we were there but its definitely somewhere we would go back to. Parking the car was a bit scary though with the speed on the road out the front so make sure you are confident with your driving if you're staying here. Also the food in the restaurant is delicious!

Much has changed in the kitchen. The hors d'oeuvres are more limited and the dishes are reduced. In exchange, the deal is excellent for the part of the workers.

This is our third visit to Meson Dr Sancho and it is a place we both love. The place is lovely and the staff here are the most efficient and caring anyone could ask for. Best hotel ever.

For years we come! As a partner first, then with the dog and now with our baby! It is a place super quiet, we love it! Always very clean, staff super friendly, eats well, parking space, Wi-Fi, and exquisite décor.

Wonderful place to stay for more than only one day. Lovely interiors. You should take a room with garden view. Otherwise you will end up looking at a very busy road. Tarifa is 10 km away. You definitely need a car.

Very pleasant hotel in a beautiful building, surrounded by green lands and with a view of the mountains and Marocco in the distance. Very attentive and helpful staff, large rooms.

We were 11 nights in the Meson Sancho. The hotel itself is OK, but the customer service is a perk. We were stupidly booked first the hotel and then the flight. This was a mistake because we had such a night too much and tried to cancel it immediately. Despite 2 weeks of preflight, hotel would be stubborn and inflexible on our booking. Logically we are at the end of our own fault, but the way we were treated is a down-to-the-cheek.
We travel a lot and stay very often in good hotels, such a service and so much arrogance I have never experienced before. Too bad for the otherwise nice hotel. At the end, however, only the negative experiences-like the WLAN that practically never worked. I/We will never put a foot in this hotel again.

It is a hotel that looks like a house, cared for in every detail of the furnishings, cozy, simple and refined. Good breakfast, kind staff and convenient location to nearby Tarifa while immersed in the green of the park of the extreme.

One of the best places to eat in the Comarca of the Campo de Gibraltar. The best rice with meat I have ever tasted (whenever I'm asked the same… it is inevitable, the flavor that give rice will do that you "hooves"). Very good service and attention. Impossible to stay hungry because they load very good dishes. And all with excellent prices. Best of all is the site and its rustic decor. 100% recommended unafraid to fail.

Never fails, impeccable service, and reasonable prices. Homemade food, very very rich. Rooms well decorated and comfortable. Highly recommended is half way between Algeciras and Tarifa.

The Hotel was to us from a travel Agency in Torre del Mar is recommended, and this recommendation was good. It pleased us very well in this clean and comfortable country hotel.

Charming hotel. Convenient location for travellers with own car. The only downside is the bad sound insulation between rooms. The highway at the entrance to the hotel is not audible due to the noisy River under the Windows.

We stayed in a cute little bungalow by the pool. The Hotel was inviting, CLEAN, cozy and very well kept for being nearly 60 yrs old. Reminded me of a pottery barn setting. Staff were very friendly despite the very little English they spoke. Food was delicious. Would definitely stay here again. My husband loved the owners private collection of over 800 bottles of scotch on display in the restaurant.

The hotel is located on the ring road that goes to Tarifa (10 km of road all to cuve).
The hotel is dated and a bit tattered, consists of two parts, separated by the Beltway.
There is an underpass to pass from one side to the other.
Wet room, dark, sparsely furnished. The door can be closed only by a small padlock. Smells like mold, uncomfortable bed, no mattress covers, sheets pillows and mattress damp. The window on an embankment.
Room 311, a dump. With mold thoroughly covered by a thin layer of paint.
No lift, from the front desk if you have any heavy suitcases you do: an underpass, and up three flights of stairs to get to the annexe across the road.
In the room you can hear the noise of cars that go to more than 100 km/h including heavy trucks.
Bad cleaning, hair of others scattered everywhere, ants in the room, the tall grass on the driveway, spider webs,
This 3 star hotel is at most 1.
Services void. It also lacks the fridge in the room.
The staff are rude, not have minimally took into consideration my requests, I had requested a room with internet access and a double bed, they gave me a room in the annexe with two single beds and 50 metres down 3 to connect to do stairs.
It is also expensive, ugliest and most expensive place where I was on my trip in Andalucia.
Parking is inadequate.

Great paella and old fashioned country home feel.

Meson de Sancho is indeed a quality. The hotel staff is very helpful, free parking, rooms are spacious, bathrooms in marble and huge, free Wi-Fi connection fall and the rooms have a nice balcony. The restaurant staff are friendly, the food is great and the portions are generous. The downside of this hotel is that you need a car to get around, because it is located 8 km from Tarifa Beach and town. My wife and I knew that before the booking of the hotel by other reviewers, and had no problem. One other thing to note is that the hotel is located on both sides of the highway. The page of the hotel, where the rooms from the street can be seen, are quiet and traffic from the road can not be heard. On the other hand, I read ´ ve, that on the side where the rooms from the street are visible, the traffic noise can be disturbing.

We were at this hotel in July 2006, went with week end plan, and it left us very cheap. Already there, we hired half board. Both the breakfast and dinner were plentiful. Even the breakfast is continental. Dinner consistiia in a number of dishes you Elegies, the huge dishes, Sin early and going to bed too full. It was very clean. It has the charm of a lost place, the pool is a corner of photo, beautiful.
The plan was to have a base from which meet part of the coast of Cadiz and came out perfect for us. That Yes, essential car, as it is on a hill about 7 kilometres from Tarifa and on the road, although one time you enter you forget it. To my personally I'd like to repeat, in a few years.
