A stunning hotel situated at the foothills of franchoeks mountains. The buffet food is excellent and the area peaceful.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. Great choice. It’s fitting for a romantic getaway or for family vacations. The setting is magical, the facilities are supreme and the staff are really amazing. I can’t say enough about the breakfast, they provided top notch food and service everyday. I didn’t try their restaurant for dinner however, so I can’t help there unfortunately. We did try the spa which was excellent for massages and pampering. I would highly recommend this this hotel during your stay in Franschhoek.

We stayed at this hotel for the Bastille day weekend. This hotel is amazing, in the most beautiful setting. Our experience with the hotel, staff, accommodation and food was fantastic. The service was outstanding and the breakfast was absolutely first class. We will be back and would recommend this establishment any time.

Beautiful hotel tucked away in the mountains. A little pricey on accommodation but service, food and amnesties made up for that.

Staff very friendly and always eager to please. Nothing is too much trouble… hope to visit again soon.

I recently posted that I was not entirely sure I would return to le Franschhoek Hotel as our recent second visit with special friends from Wales had sadly been disappointing. I was contacted by hotel management and engaged positively with them. My family and I returned to the hotel this weekend and we had an absolutely fantastic stay at the hotel. We will most certainly return — thank you Storm and your team.

I’d happily stay there again. > Cons Hotel is a Little way out of the village, there is a Shuttle bus into town, we were not aware there was a cost for the bus and R140 for a 3 mins ride into the village is a little steep by SA standards, but it’s more the principle of not letting us know the cost. The bus was also 15 mins late which made us nervous of missing the start of our wine tour. We Uber’d back to the hotel from village for R34 which puts things into perspective.

Good hotel an easy 3 km from the town. Beautiful views of the mountain. If you book a garden suite, try to avoid 61 and 55 — they are close to the pool and restaurant and can be a little noisy. I love staying at this hotel for a Frranschoek visit. I’d recommend it.

Good but fishing by some sides.

Beautiful amazing property, pool, jacuzzi and tennis courts great for the family and food was extremely good. Room service was great. Bathroom a bit small but definately fit for purpose. Warm treating for manager. A definate must see!

Got a couples massage there and really enjoyed it. The facilities were clean and the staff was perfect. I left feeling very relaxed. Not too far from downtown.

Hotel complex very nice. Room OK. But unfortunately poorly trained staff. We were the first guests to check in that day and didn't want the offered suite by the road. However, Sue did not want to exchange these and we gave the other arriving guests after us the nicer located. That was pure laziness. Something like that can't happen in the price range. Since we also booked the more expensive suite U D no standard room. What a pity. We really annoyed U S.

The nicest staff ever. Great service. We especially loved the bartender at the pool. Beautiful hotel. We will be back for sure.

In Dec 16 Our travel agency, as a crowning completion of our 14 day Harley Tour, has booked for 38 persons room. On arrival at 2 pm, the first one received a room and the rest was booked to another hotel. As a result of overbooking! Our travel agency has received a confirmation 10 days before. The frustration was great, especially because we were transferred to no comparable hotel (no pool, no spa, all apartment with room sharing). There was no apology card with champagne, (was already in the new hotel…? ) still paid drinks in the replacement hotel. Makes it appear that the management of another Grupoe/event has given priority in the short term. Total disappointment and frustration!

Luxurious. Quiet and very relaxing… perfect place to enjoy all those beautiful wines acquired during the days tasting frenzy. Enjoy the sunset in great company. Great spa for a well deserved pampering.

Very friendly atmosphere. Warm welcome when you arrive. Information Desk available for tour booking to wine estates. Excellent breakfast. Well appointed accommodation. Room service very quick. Beautiful gardens well maintained. Al Fresco meals served on the terrace. A well balanced children's menu. If you want a relaxed weekend … this is the place to stay. putr at.

The hotel room was awesome. Very spacious and a good bed. However the restaurant was a shame, the staff said we should make reservations for dinner but once we got there the place was empt, the menu cards had gone missing and a lot of dishes were not available. Not something I expected from a high standard hotel. The pool is nice and big, it's a little chilly but great for a cooling off dive.

The place is so great and good for holiday but my first experience wasn't nice as food that was prepared for our conference group was not well cooked, literally not cooked, despite taking it to catering manager. As much I would go back just for the venue but not impressed by the catering.

Lovely weekend. Staff were amazing! MCC welcome at arrival… stunning. Definitely worth a visit.

Small detail is missing. No full length mirror in room or night light in bathroom. Soundproofing not effective. Disturbing at night. In general staff very helpful and bedding comfortable.

Fantastic setting at the foothills of the Franschoek mountains. The Villa accommodation is extremely neat, clean, hygienic and spacious. It has two convenient levels — upstairs entrance with fully serviced kitchen, and lounge with DSTV. Downstairs has two beautiful and comfortable bedrooms — one double room and another twin room. The double room has its own en-suite. There's a separate toilet and bath (with shower). Aircons throughout. Very neat. Very friendly and hospitable staff, and housekeepers. Impressive!
