I have stayed in many great golf resorts — Fancourt is the best, immaculate and challenging courses and a wonderful hotel with great people — the value for money aspect is amazing.

Spent the afternoon this past Saturday at the Leisure center. The staff was very helpful and service was efficient. The place was spotless and everything you need is conveniently located. Very impressed!

I can say fancourt is such a beautiful hotel where by u cn book urslf in for a couple of days just to clear ur mind sch a beautiful staff also management, great fast, efficient service place whereby u can take beautiful pictures as well with beautiful golf courses restaurant especially at La Cantina u get the best service from breakfast to dinner thy have friendly staff both of the teams management as well I really do enjoy their fresh breakfast like eggs in a glass, egg Benedict their fresh waffles, on dinner I enjoy their pizza, blended wines mmmm SCH a delicious sea food at Monet's their fresh sushi ow my god their are to die for!

Beautiful Family holiday. No need to leave the resort… just relaxing and a great getaway concierge… golf cart drivers… reception… All the restaurants… and very staff member on the resort is friendly and always had a smile and willing to help out immediately… really good service and a feeling of being welcome…

A place of elegance and good service.

The service was slow, the club lounge was soulless and freezing cold. I asked for a blanket and it took 35 minutes for someone to fetch one. The menu was limited. There was no gluten free option. The only two soups available were spicy, so lunch, instead of soup and a sandwich, all I could have was a hot chocolate. For a five star hotel, it was hugely disappointing and I would think twice before revisiting or recommending the Fancourt.

Always have a good time at Fancourt… there’s something for the whole family. The golf and golfing facilities is fantastic. The spa and restaurants are great. The leisure centre will keep kids entertained the whole day. The staff are also super friendly and really make this a place we come back to.

So much more than a golfers destination. Very kid friendly, great restaurants, outdoor activites, walking, running and cycle tracks, pools, and a fabulous Spa. All of this on a secure estate in a fabulous setting. Ideal base for exploring the Garden Route.

This is one of South Africa's jewels. The scenery is exquisite, the vibe is rich and the service is a treat. A golfers paradise!

People were extraordinary kind, polite and helpful. Went out of their way to assist us, and make our time wonderful. They see a need, and addressed it without anyone having had to ask them. Plus, the place is stunning and so peaceful and family friendly! I'd definitely recommend this for get aways and conferences. However… The only downfall was at times of lunch and supper… Halaal and non Halaal sat separate, in 2 different locations, and that was the only thing that was different.

We just had our annual Kick-off conference at The Fancourt. Service was impeccable, they seem to anticipate our issues and address them before they escalated. Throwing a conference for 70+ people is difficult enough but the team at Fancourt handled us brilliantly. Rooms were amazing, all meals were interesting, fresh and delicious. If I could rate it a 6 I would. Thank you Team Fancourt from International SOS.

This is a fantastic golf resort that reflects the natural beauty of George. I felt so close to nature and enjoyed the warm hospitality of the hotel staffs. The restaurants are good and service is excellent.

Love to go to Fancourt Feels good. Good service. Wishing I could spend more time there I also do swimming exercise there and have ny hair cut there with Esmeralda. Been there for years.

Excellent! Stayed at Fancourt and managed to squeeze in a round at Outeniqua, Kingswood, George GC and The Links. All courses were in pristine condition. Montagu was closed for upgrades, so I will return. The food was great, the service excellent. They went out of their way to ensure we felt at home.

Did not manage a round of golf but their cakes come highly recommended!

We were there for the Pam Golding Conference. Accommodation and food excellent and the surroundings very beautiful. A very safe resort.

The food was average and the holding facilities weren't world class but great accommodation and friendly staff. Affordable and close to the city.

Good food the rooms are big and have balcony you will not miss home. L had freshly squeezed fruit juice at breakfast.

Such an amazing facility. The three courses are great. The Links is probably one of the two best courses I have ever experienced. Their caddies are great. Food at the Half Way house is unbeatable. The hotel is Leading Hotels of the World, and the service is outstanding.

What a stunning golf course and hotel. Extremel professional staff around. Grounds are kept in a pristine conditions. If you are in George this is a wonderful choice to stay.

A vast estate where you feel that every square centimetre is properly maintained and beautiful. Our weekend stay there was a most pleasant and relaxing experience with every member of the staff genuinely friendly and helpful. The restaurants are good and offer variety. The only small irritation was that what is called home made gnocchi on La Cantina's menu, turned out to be from a packet. One should not try to fool your guests. Long walks are recommended as there is a lot of variety and lovely views. The resort has a very special attraction and one wants to return for a longer stay.

Lovely golf resort with a beautiful pool area. We stayed in the lodges, which have everything you would need (although ours didn't have Wi-Fi). There is Wi-Fi in the common areas (pool, clubhouse etc). There are 4 different restaurants, all of which had great food. There are also tennis courts, a spa, a well-appointed gym and a childcare facility.

Good and professionally run golf course good caddies.

Amazing place for this whole family. Dad can play golf, mum can relax in the spa, and kids can swim, watch movies, play games and so much more. If you want relaxation then this is the place. With Italian and French cuisine on offer as well.

Our son was working as a Greenkeeper at a golf course in Surrey, UK, a few years ago he was lucky enough to get picked to go to Fancourt with some of their members for a golfing holiday and for him to get an insight of how this golf club was managed by their Greenkeeper. By coincidence we were holidaying in Capetown at the same time, so we flew to George to surprise him and stayed at Fancourt for the weekend. It was a fabulous place, food, staff, accommodation, location, weather, excellent. I can highly recommend it. Our son, was very surprised to see us and I am proud to say he is now a Head Greenkeeper at another golf club in Surrey.

10/10 This is South African golfing royalty. The service is swift and efficient. The people are professional, warm and well informed. The views are breath taking and you can feel all the rich history that surrounds you.

This is an upscale hotel on a golf resort with a spa. Stayed here for a conference. My room had a mountain view. WI-Fi is complimentary. There is a really cool outdoor swimming pool. The rooms are quite nice and cosy. I liked the service here. I think all guests have complimentary breakfast, good one. There are 3 different restaurants here. They even have a sauna in the spa area with indoor pool. It is a nice experience.

Wow. What an awesome experience for the entire family. This is a highlight of my year. Fancourt is one of the best family holiday destinations in the country. 3 world class golf courses, a great spa and a child focused entertainment area. What a pleasure!

Its beautiful and the staff are super friendly. The Hair salon, "Hey beautiful" boasts with the most professional hairdressers in the Garden Route area. Well worth the visit. Make booking in advance. They book up quickly especially over holiday seasons.

We were in the main house. Amazing room. The complex has everything you want. Golf, spa, swimming pool, gym, different restaurants… it is exclusively for golf players, because George is a city were there is anything to do or see.

It's perfect! The food was good. Was here for a wedding reception.

. Simply my favourite golf destination… The whole package is superb. And The Links is the best course in SA… if not the best artificial Links course on the planet… accommodation is excellent along with the facilities… The shrubs and vegetation brought in from all over the world to adorn the estate are amazing. I've never seen the like anywhere… the staff, from waitrons to caddies are courteous and friendly… Fancourt has it all!
