Perfect place for a weekend getaway for 2.
From the gamedrives to the meals, view from our room and the pool deck area. It was all just more than amazing.
For 2 city people we enjoyed the bush atmosphere a lot and just relaxed 100%. The staff is most definitely the best part of the experience. Happy and friendly assistance all the way.

We just come back from Khaya Thaba Lodge and id go back again. If u are looking for a peaceful and relaxed environment while having fun, this is a place to go. The food is absolutely delicious and the set up is on point, everything is prepared with Love. Thank you so much to Johanna for taking good care of us and for the wonderful service.

This lodge has alot going for it. It deserves 5 stars. From the warm welcome, spacious rooms, amazing food and above all, amazing members to carry through a memorable stay. This lodge is unique on its own and definitely one to return to. We had our 1st year wedding anniversary at Thaba Khaya and it exceeded our expectations. Keep doing what you do, because it holds great value. Thank you to Peter, Claude and every single person that was there this past weekend, you were all amazing.

Friendly staff, who are so accommodating. They make you feel so welcome and do give individual service. The room is spacious and so is the bathroom. Lovely amenities in the room. The views are beautiful and the game drives are spectacular.

I would like to thank Peter and Claudie for an amazing weekend. We were in lux suite no 2, and you guys realy made it our home away from home. The game drives were fantastic and we learned so much about the wildlife. Every meal served was impeccable, you will deffinately see us again, kind regards Barry and Vanessa.

What an amazing gem! This is a MUST if you’re travelling to JoBurg or the surrounds. FANTASTIC personalised service, the food is out of the world set in stunning farm land.
The hosts Pieter and Claudie are amazing, friendly and so attentive to detail. Also a fantastic diversity of guests which was amazing to see on my first trip to SA. We were collected straight from the airport and whizzed off to this dream destination. The perfect respite with amazing animals to boot. I highly recommend. Excellent value for money.

Experience of a lifetime. A truly all inclusive holiday. The fact that game drives are included means you really experience the park to its fullest. Excellent combo deal. A little expensive but with 4 star food, great rooms, your own private staff, to be expected Well worth it and value for money if you have the disposable income.

To claudie & peter, you guys gaves us the best experience we have every had at any lodge, I am not particularly crazy about the bush but it was beyond my expectations, the staff was exceptional, I can not stop raving about the food, loved each and every dish I had, It was to die for. Keep up the good work and keep rising the standards to even greater heights, hope to come back again very soon.

To Peter and all the staff at Thaba Khaya, thank you for an extraordinary weekend. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay a very special and truly memorable one. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, catering to all your needs. Delicious food in generous servings, a beautifully maintained lodge and a relaxing setting are just some of the highlights. Richard the barman (just one of the duties that he carries out at the Lodge) is a laugh a minute and r…eally made our stay extra special. There are ample birding opportunities, wonderful wildlife and the scenery is just breathtaking. Our field guide Gordon was very knowledgeable and learning about the Sable and breeding camps was so interesting. We can't wait to go back! We would highly recommend treating yourself to a stay at Thaba Khaya Lodge.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Thaba Khaya Lodge in July this year. From the time of arrival, we were received with such a welcoming effort by all. The unloading of the car luggage and the clever lemon towels was an unexpected and welcome surprise! The service felt is genuine and consistent. The game drives were really interesting and a lot of fun with Gordon, we really enjoyed sitting and watching ol' Donald the hippo in his place… I look forward to seeing the scenery and wildlife over a summer period next, winter also has a beauty of its own. Pieter and Claudie were superb lodge managers and they really made us feel like special guests in many ways. I was impressed with the wine and whisky selection, especially having an organic red wine in stock! (being an organic farmer myself that was really good to see) The prices are also really fair and not overpriced. The chefs provided incredible decorative meals for us to enjoy and it made it rather difficult to pick the best meal of the experience. Thank you for hosting us and we look forward to spending some more time with Thaba Khaya Lodge in the future.

We have just spent the most magnificent weekend at Thaba Khaya Lodge. The staff made us feel so special, nothing is too much trouble for them, they are the gems of the lodge. The rooms are beautiful, the food is delicious, the game drives are informative and enjoyable, the attention to detail overall is brilliant. We will definitely be back, thank you to the entire team for making our weekend a memorable one.
