Booked the accommodation online, never been told anything about 'card transaction fees'. Only AFTER we swiped the balance at the end of the stay, the owner told us we must pay her an additional 3% 'card transaction fee'. A friend's mom is vegetarian so she's very sensitive to smells. She said the linen is not clean and smells weird, so we asked the owner to change the linen. The owner REFUSED to change the linen saying that the workers have left and there're no clean linen. Then we said we won't be staying here anymore, and the owner agreed to change the linen. Also for her being vegetarian, we need to prepare her food separately. So we went to the kitchen but got CHASED out. They said we're only allowed in the dining/kitchen area during breakfast time and we can't go there any other times. While waiting, we sat on the couch in PUBLIC area. They chased us away and said that's their private furniture. The couch is by the stairs that goes to the kitchen. They said that we can't be here if it's not breakfast time. There're beverages in the room for consumption at own account. On the first night, we had some beer and we DID tell them. Then for all the following days, they ask us so many times if we drank any more beverages. Felt like being treated as thieves. Although the place really is beautiful and the workers there are still friendly, the horrible attitude and services we received from the owner is the worst we have ever experienced. It is definitely not worth R20k on a holiday to receive such ridiculous and pathetic services.
