Resort has fantastic views and facilities, walking distance to the beach. The main beach can be crowded during peak periods.

As usual, we ejoyed our stay at Margate Sands. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The apartment is well kept and the view is amazing.

Great place for a large family or outing with friends. The place has a good vibe.

We had a beautiful time the place was too NYC the beach was something else we didn't want to come home coz it was like we was home that's how lovely it was please try it sometimes.

The flats are clean and modern and the staff are friendly. The one big bad thing about our stay was the noise. They were busy with constriction somewhere in the building. This made a HUGE noise. They started working early in the mornings so sleeping late wasn't an option. The worked for long periods on end without informing residents. On our first day there was a very unpleasent smell on one of the floors. Bad enough to make someone sick. Thank goodness it cleared up after a few days. The views were magnificent, and the children loved the pool area and the activities arranged by the resort. Overall our stay was ok, it would've been much better if it wasn't for the noise and the awfull smell.

Amazing on another level the view is just class if you a photographer get your camera out the only thing is that if you would like to rent out the table tennis or put put you charged for just an hour 30 bucks seems like they hid this place away from the Africans.

Was such an amazing weekend I had staying at margate sands! The best receptionist, always greeting when walking past, Porter's are so respectful with your stuff! Have really nice welcome drinks when you arrive… The entertainment is very nice around their! Be sure to visit cock & tail just down the road! Thank u first resorts for a exceptional weekend, will surely be back!

This is my second visit here and I love it! Just wish they would provide a breakfast facility. But great place, I'm always greeted with a smile, the rooms are well maintained as well as the property itself. There's always a great view, even when it rains.

Best view on marine drive, situated right at the main beach vicinity. The resort has newly revamped units so everything is in good condition, units are also extremely spacious! I love that their is a gym facility which is FREE! Theirs plents of activities for adults and kids to keep you entertained throughout your stay. Staff are professional but genuinely friendly, and there's also FREE Wi-Fi. Definitely visiting again❤

Well positioned, accommodation is very old and needs a revamp. The bathrooms are horrible, small and I hated the shower. Pool was heated and comfortable but the colour was not very inviting. Wifi was non-existent in the rooms. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Soap, shampoo, etc was not refilled. That was a bit disappointing.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! The staff here are super friendly and serves with joy! I love the beautiful view and the luxurious facilities offered here! What I also like is that it is situated in the hotspot of Margate and is walking distance from everything you need.

Great views. Good facilities. Parking is quite a squeeze especially for large vehicles. Mr fish the most only halaal food in is conveniently just a walk across.

Wonderful view, wonderful service, many accessible food joints nearby and swimming area of the beach is a 2 minute walk away, plus their pool is heated!

I was here with family on New Years and it's was actually pretty decent.

Had amazing holidays here twice a year for 25 years. Defiantly worth a stay.

Lovely views of the beach and a good place to spend the holiday with the family a good play area for the kids and if your looking for a party with your friends there's a club called ko kos and its just outside.

Was there on 2010, wow the place is awesome, wont mind staying there ma whole life, nice view of the beach.

Central to the nightlife in the area and stunning ocean view. Rooms are spaced beautifully and if you with your friends then you will have a bar are in your room. Alcohol not included.
