Lovely accommodation. Amenities are basic but there's plenty to do in the area and you'll find yourself outside of the apartment and resort more often. Also, great views of the sea from all apartments.

Great location, but beach was closed due to (according to the locals) a surrage spill. Upgrades to the resort extended into the June holidays making some facilities unusable. The place is well maintained and neat. If I was allowed half stars I would have given it 3.5 stars.

Well located but units are a bit out of style, needs more modernizing (very clean though). Parking is rather right (enough to make you a professional). Site facilities (games) are good but poorly managed, most of the fun filled coordinators are gone (no more family bonding time/games, like before). Overall a good place to relax/ leisure but with competitors in the industry they need to up their standards.

Recommended self catering resort apartments on the Margate beach Walking distance to the beach and tidal pool, however lots of stairs to climb (for older people) Activities available — Pools, squash court, tennis court, pool tables, darts, table tennis, sauna, jacuzzi, etc. Are available, some at an additional minor cost and prior booking. Other daily pool side activities. Coffee shop and cafe at the pool side. Apartment — spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom units with kitchen, lounge, dinning room and very large patio with Braai facilities. Apartments have Central AC units but you need purchase prepaid vouches to utilise it (approximately R50 for 8 hours) Parking availability for 1 car only, additional cars must park on the beach front parking, however a security guard is provided.

One of the best self catering resorts on the KZN South Coast. Excellent guest service. Prime location. Great entertainment and N array of facilities and activities. Flat units are also well equipped with great views of the coast.

One of the best holidays I have ever been on. So much to do and right by the beach. Units were well equipped and spacious. To wake up to the sound of the sea is great. The pool area has a nice cocktail bar where we ate many lunches and drank cocktails. They have activities daily for the kids and there is also plenty to check out nearby. You wont want to leave! From the welcome to the departure it was so professional. Rivalled some 5 star places I've been in terms of service.

Loved it. Beautiful place for a family vacation. We stayed over the festive season. There was activities all day everyday for the kids and adults. The facilities are well cared for and the cleaning staff were on point. Advice, get clarification on pre-paid stuff and stuff you pay for on departure and keep receipts for everything to avoid confusion. Aircon is not free, you pay for that or do without.

The hotel is great. Very clean and well kept. There was housekeeping every day. Beautiful view of the beach from our room. The town is small, a spar close by and a mall about 15min away. Lots of fish restaurants along the way. But we spent most of the time at the hotel and the beach. The hotel has a quick access to the beach which was awesome! Drinks on arrival! There's a sauna and pool onsite aswell!

La Cote D'Azur is normally a 5 star but swimmingpool is under renovation, and that was not so lekker…

Rooms very clean but not first resorts standards balcony is stunning but not a lot of space in kitchen it may look big but most of their things are in there! Roof fan makes lots of noice in bedroom but views are stunning the staff was just a bit unfriendly witch did not made us fill welcome! But rooms needs a bit of a renovation.

Awesome location. Close to shops and malls and easy to find from the highway. Designated parking for at least one car. Very clean by friendly staff. Reception calls in now and again to check if all is well and if you need any assistance. Swimming pool and jacuzzi extremely clean. Tennis court, pool tables, table tennis on site. The views from the units are amazing. All round Awesome place. Would strongly recommend it.

Excellent family getaway venue. Relax while kids get absorbed in daily activities.

Great place to relax. Fantastic sea views, 5 min walk and you on the beach, Clean (toilets bowls sealed), organised, friendly staff, followup calls — even got a call before arriving to see if we require anything special. There's even two TV sets — lounge and main bedroom. Only one gripe, if one would call it that. This is very unusual and I've been to many chalets and hotels for holiday and business. One must pay extra for using the air conditioner; R50 for about eight hours.

Beautiful view of the sea. Service was exceptional. Rooms were in good condition.

It's a nice place for the price you pay. We had a great holiday. All units are self catering, which we preferred! Sea view as well.

Great and perfect few as well as resting place for the hole family whether you like having fun or just chilling I recommend.

Awesome service. Staff is friendly and really accommodating. Pool side activities on the weekend with free breakfast and a really rad vibe.

Absolute heaven… been there March 2015. Booked again for March 2016. Super excited.

Wonderful family holiday resort right on Margate's best blue flag beach: Manaba Beach. Each spacious, well equipped suite has a splendid sea view and large balcony that also overlooks the secure garden. Heated pools for both adults and kids. Safe children's play area. Kids (and their parents) would welcome a daily activities program for children. Friendly staff always ready to help. The restaurant serves light meals but is closed on Fridays. Close walking distance from shops. We will definitely return.
